A jelenleg elérhető információk alapján azonban a videóban szereplő játékok nevei és sorrendje nem ellenőrizhetők, ezért nem lehet megbízható, teljes listát vagy mai játékvásárlási ajánlót készíteni belőle.
Mit tartalmaz az IGN Hungary toplistája?
A videó címe („50 játék, amivel játszanod kell 2024-ben”) határozott ajánlásnak hangzik, a leírás viszont pontosabban fogalmaz: azokat a játékokat gyűjti össze, amelyeket a szerkesztőség 2024-ben különösen várt. Ez előzetes várakozásokat rögzítő szerkesztőségi válogatás, nem annak bizonyítéka, hogy mind az 50 cím megjelent, vagy hogy ma is mindegyik ajánlható.

Miért nem közölhető megbízhatóan az 50 játék neve?
Az elérhető, indexelt videóadatokból nem derül ki a rangsorolt játékok neve, platformja vagy megjelenési dátuma. A YouTube-oldal megnyitása nem adott hozzáférést a videóhoz, és a rendelkezésre álló találatok nem tartalmazták a teljes átiratot sem. Emiatt nem lenne megalapozott más 2024-es toplistákból neveket átvenni vagy a hiányzó helyezéseket találgatással kitölteni.
Így a videó hivatkozása és felépítése ellenőrizhető, a teljes 50-es névsor viszont ebből az információból nem. A címek sorrendjét is csak magának a videónak vagy egy ellenőrzött átiratnak a megtekintésével lehetne pontosan visszaadni.

Mit jelent a „játszanod kell” megfogalmazás 2024 után?
A cím lelkesítő szerkesztőségi fordulat, nem objektív minőségi mérce. Mivel a válogatás előzetes várakozásokat tükröz, egy mai visszatekintéshez minden játék esetében külön kellene ellenőrizni, hogy megjelent-e, milyen platformokon érhető el, és hogy jelenleg hozzáférhető-e. A névsor hiányában ezekről a címekről nem lehet pontos, egyenkénti állításokat tenni.

A Sony hivatalos PlayStation-történeti oldala a Helldivers 2-t és az Astro Botot 2024-es PS5-játékként említi, az Astro kapcsán pedig a DualSense vezérlő tapintási funkcióiról is ír.
