You start collecting Whim Fragrances with the quest Purify! The Scent in the Cavern, a Florawish world quest that opens after you complete Land of Wishes. Later fragrances are handled through a separate series of Find Fragrance quests spread across several regions. This guide covers the first quest step by step, explains how the later series works, and lists the Find Fragrance entries that current sources name by region. Sources do not yet confirm every fragrance’s location, so the table below is partial and says so.
What Whim Fragrances are
Whim Fragrances are crafted items in Infinity Nikki that are tied to combat and Ability Outfits. The categories named in available sources are Hair Oil, Body Spray, and Hand Powder. Each fragrance is made from materials gathered in caverns, and the in-game dialogue says different materials produce different effects, so the material you use affects what the finished fragrance does.
Start with Purify! The Scent in the Cavern
This is the first fragrance quest. It is set in Florawish and requires that you have finished Land of Wishes. The cavern it sends you to lies near Dream Warehouse.
- Complete Land of Wishes so the quest becomes available in Florawish.
- Travel to the cavern near Dream Warehouse.
- Purify the Esselings in the area.
- Search the cavern for the material it holds.
- Obtain the Traveler’s Musings sketch from Heart of Infinity.
- Craft the fragrance using the sketch.
The Game8 unlock summary describes the same flow: the first quest centers on crafting Traveler’s Musings, and further sketches come from Heart of Infinity before they are crafted and equipped. That page was last updated on February 4, 2025, and its publisher notes that it stopped updating after Version 1.6. Menu names, quest steps, and locations may have changed in later updates, so check the in-game quest log if a step does not match.

In the quest dialogue, Eremita explains the idea behind the system: “Different fragrance-making materials bring different effects, and these materials are scattered across various mysterious caverns all over Miraland.” This is in-game dialogue for the fictional world of the game.
How the later fragrances are found
After the first fragrance, the rest are unlocked through the Find Fragrance quest series. The Infinity Nikki Wiki lists 17 Find Fragrance quests; the page excerpt available for this guide does not state the year of that count. The quests take you to different regions, so you will need to travel beyond Florawish to finish the series.
The table below shows the Find Fragrance entries that the available excerpt names along with their regions. Cells marked “not stated” are fields the sources did not provide. They are not confirmed as empty or missing.

The five entries above are the only Find Fragrance quests whose regions this guide can name. The other twelve are not listed here, and their locations are not established by the sources used for this article.

Checking your progress
- Open the quest log and confirm Purify! The Scent in the Cavern is complete before you look for the Find Fragrance series.
- When you reach a Find Fragrance quest, note its region so you can plan a route instead of searching each area at random.
- If a fragrance step names a sketch or material you do not have, return to Heart of Infinity, which is the source named for sketches in both the first quest and the Game8 summary.
What this guide does not yet confirm
The sources used here do not provide a complete list of all Whim Fragrances, their exact cavern entrances, or the version that added each one. Several named quests have regions but no further detail. Until a full inventory is published with a game version and date, treat the region list as a starting point and verify exact positions in-game.
