As of October 9, 2026, we could not find an official Raven Software or Activision post confirming that Raven acknowledged a Call of Duty: Warzone “Fatal Error” crash. Activision’s support pages do provide a known-issues list and crash-reporting routes, but the official material we located does not name this error, its platform, or the game build it affects. Treat the acknowledgment as unconfirmed until the original post or an entry on Activision’s known-issues list appears.
What Activision’s official pages establish
Activision’s Warzone support section, reached from the Call of Duty: Warzone support page, lists three resources relevant to crashes: a known-issues article, a crashes-or-freezes help article, and a PC system requirements page. Each does a different job:

- Known Issues in Call of Duty: Warzone. Activision describes this as a running list of issues that have been identified or reported in Warzone and are either under investigation or scheduled to be fixed. It is the closest official record to a formal acknowledgment, and it is the first place to check for a named error. The article is available at Known Issues in Call of Duty: Warzone.
- Crashes or Game Freezes in Call of Duty: Warzone. This is a troubleshooting article. The support landing page labels it as updated March 5, 2024, so check the live article before following its steps, since they may have changed.
- PC crash reporting. PC players can submit a Call of Duty PC Crash Report, which Activision says helps identify, investigate, and resolve crashes.
None of these resources is a statement about a specific error. A known-issues entry, if one exists, is the only official record that would confirm an acknowledgment of this kind, and the pages we checked did not show one for a “Fatal Error.”
The Raven patch notes that do exist
Raven Software’s Call of Duty: Warzone Season 04 patch notes, dated June 16, 2026, document several fixes, including one for a crash that occurred when a player selected Random Operator and then returned to the Play tab from the Operators tab. That is a documented crash fix tied to a specific action. The notes do not connect that fix to a “Fatal Error,” so they should not be read as the acknowledgment described in the headline.

- Some features may require an internet connection and an online subscription
These are the most recent Warzone patch notes we could verify. Later updates may have addressed the error, so check the newest notes on the same Call of Duty patch notes site before drawing conclusions.
How to check whether an error is already tracked
- Open the Known Issues in Call of Duty: Warzone article.
- Search the page for the exact error text, such as “Fatal Error,” and for your platform name. Match the wording exactly, because a vague match can point to an unrelated problem.
- If an entry matches, read its status. The page describes listed issues as either under investigation or scheduled to be fixed, so note which description applies and whether a named update is given.
- If nothing matches, use the Warzone Bug Report form linked from the same page. The page asks players whose issue is not listed to use this form.
- On PC, also submit a Call of Duty PC Crash Report so that the crash data is attached to your report.
What to record before you report
A report is more useful to the investigating team when it includes the details that separate one crash from another. Capture the following before you submit:
