Rainbow Six Siege’s complete live Ranked map roster cannot be confirmed from Ubisoft’s published updates available as of October 8, 2026. The Ranked pool rotates during a season, so an older “every map” list may already be wrong. The reliable way to see which maps are currently eligible is to check the map-ban phase in the live Ranked playlist.
How Rainbow Six Siege’s Ranked map pool works
Ubisoft says the Ranked map pool changes at the start of a season and again at mid-season. It groups maps into Pro (also called competitive), showcased, and seasonal pools. The groups help determine which maps enter the rotation and which are offered during the ban phase.
Pro, showcased, and seasonal maps
- Pro or competitive maps: Ubisoft describes these as fixed for a season.
- Showcased maps: These receive a short feature window.
- Seasonal maps: These rotate between updates.
The exact map mix in the ban phase has changed across Ubisoft announcements. On April 16, 2026, Ubisoft described a format drawing two competitive maps, one showcased map, and two seasonal maps. A May 17 announcement about Ranked 3.0 described the standard mid-season phase as three Pro Pool maps and two Seasonal Pool maps. Neither announcement confirms the format currently live in October. What the dated map updates confirm
Ubisoft’s April 16, 2026 update said five maps would be added, taking the pool to 17. That is the announced size for that update, not a verified count for the current October pool. Ubisoft later confirmed additional changes:

How to check which maps are eligible now
- Open Rainbow Six Siege and enter the Ranked playlist.
- When the map-ban phase begins, use the maps shown there as the eligible selection for that match.
- For the overall live pool, consult a newer Ubisoft update or the current in-game Ranked information; do not treat a single match’s ban selection as an exhaustive map list.
The ban phase affects which map is played, so seeing a map in the eligible selection does not mean it will be the final map for the match.

Ranked maps are not the same as tournament maps
Ubisoft’s 2026 EML Challenger Circuit rulebook specifies a nine-map pool for that competition. It is a tournament list, not the public Ranked playlist roster, so it should not be used as a substitute for the in-game list. See the Ubisoft esports rules and resources.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why an old “every map” list can mislead
A map list is only useful when it is tied to a date and the correct playlist. Ubisoft confirmed a mid-season Ranked rotation on July 16, 2026, but the available update details do not establish the complete roster that followed. Likewise, the April figure of 17 describes that update’s announced pool size, while the tournament pool belongs to a different mode. As of October 8, 2026, neither figure can safely be presented as the complete live Ranked roster.
