One Piece chapter 1159 is an official chapter by Eiichiro Oda, and VIZ lists its English release date as September 7, 2025. Its Japanese listing gives the subtitle 「運命の島」, reasonably translated as “Island of Destiny.” The official metadata reviewed here does not confirm that the chapter reveals a secret about the God Valley Incident, so check the licensed chapter before treating any particular plot claim as fact.
What is confirmed about chapter 1159?
| Detail | Verified information |
|---|---|
| Series and author | One Piece, by Eiichiro Oda |
| English listing date | September 7, 2025, according to VIZ |
| Japanese subtitle | 「運命の島」, reasonably rendered “Island of Destiny” |
| God Valley revelation | Not established by the official metadata reviewed for this article |
The Japanese Shonen Jump+ listing displays April 24, 2026, but that date conflicts with VIZ’s chapter chronology. It should not be presented as the original release date without resolving the discrepancy. The subtitle is listing metadata; it does not, by itself, establish what happens in the chapter.

Does chapter 1159 reveal the secret of the God Valley Incident?
The official listings reviewed confirm the chapter’s identity and metadata, but do not provide enough readable story detail to verify a specific God Valley revelation. The earlier claim that Oda reveals a particular secret in this chapter should therefore be treated as unverified unless it is checked directly against the licensed chapter.
For the same reason, theories about Rocks D. Xebec, Roger, Garp, the Celestial Dragons, Imu, or the Holy Knights should not be described as chapter events based on these listings alone. Separate confirmed story details from interpretation, and identify speculation as speculation.
