Do not confuse this with Roblox’s similarly named Steal a Brainrot. The Roblox game has a different platform, map, and code system. The list below applies only to the Fortnite island.

April 2026 Fortnite codes

The tables below reconstruct code reports from dated April coverage. They are deliberately separated by release or event window because there is no complete first-party archive proving that all of the codes were active at the same time or remained active throughout the month.

Early-April codes reported around April 5–13

An April 5 tracker recorded 14 live codes, while an April 13 list included a 15-code set that added 675526. The combined list is useful as an early-April historical reference, but it should not be read as proof that every code worked simultaneously.

The April 5 FNJPNews report specifically identified 933184, 371134, and 675526 as new additions. The April 13 Khel Now list reported the same 15-code set, although some reward descriptions should be treated as tracker reports rather than official game documentation.

April 11–12 admin-abuse event codes

These codes were documented for an April 11–12 event window. They should not automatically be treated as permanent April codes.

These four codes were listed in the RotStore April code archive.

Other codes reported in April coverage

The following group was retrospectively associated with April, but the available coverage does not independently establish an exact release day.

The dates and effects come from Respawn Daily’s April retrospective. Because this group was not tied to a separately verified creator announcement, it is best regarded as historical reported coverage.

April 25–26 codes

These four codes were associated with the final late-April admin-abuse event in the available reports. FNJPNews published the set on April 26, and Respawn Daily independently grouped the same codes with the April 25–26 event.

How to redeem a Steal the Brainrot code

1. Open Fortnite and go to Discover/Search, or open the official island page.
2. Enter the island code 3225-0366-8885 and launch STEAL THE BRAINROT.
3. Once inside, walk toward the central lobby area.
4. Find the code terminal or keypad, generally near the shop and the Galaxy Spin or wheel area. The exact layout can change after map updates.
5. Interact with the terminal. On PC, guides commonly describe holding E; on console, use the normal interact button shown by Fortnite.
6. Enter the six-digit reward code exactly as shown.
7. Press the green ENT button to submit it.
8. Wait for the result. Depending on the code, you may see a spawn, a cooldown change, a machine effect, or a recovery action.

These are map-internal keypad codes. Entering one at Epic’s normal account-code or product-code redemption page will not redeem the reward.

What the reported rewards actually mean

The reward labels in community lists are not always precise, and a spawn is not necessarily the same thing as receiving a finished Brainrot in your inventory.

Cooldown skips

Codes such as 999113, 366993, 738291, and 144414 were reported to skip an upgrader, machine, or upgrade-machine cooldown. The exact machine named by the map can vary with the event or map revision. 482913 was specifically associated with the Eternal Machine.

Machine luck boosts

Codes including 230023, 614852, and 736621 were reported as machine-luck boosts. A luck boost affects the relevant machine’s chance or output according to the island’s mechanics; it should not automatically be interpreted as a guaranteed rare Brainrot.

Several labels conflict between sources. In particular, 675526 is described as a Secret Box Rot spawn in early-April reports but as a Machine Luck Boost in some later lists. 933184 is usually labeled a Machine Luck Boost, while one contemporary report describes an extra machine-rack use. 987788 has a similar Machine Luck Boost versus extra-rack-use discrepancy. These should be treated as unresolved reward-label differences, not silently merged into one definitive claim.

Secret Brainrot machine additions

485775 and 145519 were reported to add a Secret Brainrot to the machine. That is a machine-related reward, not necessarily a completed item instantly appearing in the player’s permanent collection.

Box Rot and Llama Rot spawns

Codes such as 909023, 942642, 528834, 675526, 233432, 913134, and 987651 were reported to spawn Box Rot or Llama Rot variants. The reported result may create an object or opportunity in the server. Depending on the island’s behavior, a player may need to claim or purchase the spawned Brainrot with in-game cash rather than receiving it automatically.

• Box Rot: Secret Box Rot or Crystal Box Rot spawn reports.
• Llama Rot: Lovely, Toxic, Void, Heaven, or Crystal Llama Rot spawn reports.
• Server opportunity: A spawn may be visible to multiple players and may require someone to claim it.

This distinction is also noted by Pro Game Guides, which cautions that spawn codes can create an opportunity rather than directly depositing a finished item into the redeemer’s inventory.

Recovery reward

994817 was reported to recover a Brainrot from the Christmas Craft Machine. The seasonal wording is unusual, but it appeared across multiple trackers during the April coverage.

Do these April codes still work?

There is no defensible blanket yes or no. Some later trackers list older April codes as expired, while other trackers continue to display historical entries or use inconsistent active and expired labels. Beebom’s later list marks many April codes as expired, while the Fortnite.GG tracker continues to show historical code entries with status groupings that do not establish a complete month-long activity record.

The safest interpretation is:

These codes were reported during April 2026. Test them at the in-game keypad, but do not assume that an April code remains active now or that all April codes were active simultaneously.

Some event codes were reported as lasting roughly 24–48 hours, but that is community coverage—not a published Epic or Ferins rule. Other guides have suggested that Creative codes do not automatically expire. Those claims conflict with later expired-code lists, so there is no reliable public expiry schedule to apply to every code.

Why a code may not work

If the terminal rejects a code or nothing happens, work through these checks:

1. Verify the island. Confirm that you are in Ferins’ STEAL THE BRAINROT island with code 3225-0366-8885, not a similarly named Fortnite map or the Roblox game.
2. Check every digit. These codes are numeric, so capitalization does not matter. Accurate digit entry does. In particular, enter 015001 with its leading zero.
3. Use the keypad inside the island. These are not Epic account redemption codes.
4. Check whether the code was already used. Most coverage reports one redemption per account, although the map creator can change how an individual code behaves.
5. Reload the island. Leave and launch the map again so the server can refresh after a code drop or map update.
6. Consider the event window. Admin-abuse and special-event codes may have been available only during a short period.

These checks align with later troubleshooting guidance from Beebom. A successful spawn also may not look like a direct inventory reward: search the lobby or machine area and check whether the spawned object must be claimed or purchased.

When did Fortnite Steal the Brainrot codes change?

The available evidence points to event-linked releases rather than a fixed weekly schedule:

April Fools-related activity, admin-abuse events, updates, and special weekends appear to have driven the changes. The public sources do not establish a formal release timetable or an authoritative patch version for the code system, so no Fortnite or UEFN version number should be inferred from these dates.

Those sources disagree on some reward labels and do not provide a complete, first-party record of when every code was enabled or disabled. For that reason, this article uses terms such as reported, documented, and historical rather than claiming that every code is currently active.

Stay safe while looking for codes

You only need the island and the in-game terminal to try these codes. Do not give an external site your Epic password, account authorization, or payment information in exchange for codes, V-Bucks, or items. Epic’s account-security guidance says Epic will not request your password through email, messages, or third-party websites and warns against unofficial free-item offers.

Community Discord servers and trackers can be useful for reporting new event codes, but do not assume that a server is official unless its link is verified through Ferins or Epic.
