Short answer: You can get Robux by buying them through Roblox or an official Gift Card, receiving them from a trusted person, earning them by creating compliant Roblox content, or using Microsoft Rewards to obtain a Roblox digital card where that option is available. There is no legitimate Robux generator, universal free-Robux code, hacked client, or survey trick.
Last checked: August 10, 2026. The important distinction is whether you want Robux to spend in Roblox or Earned Robux that may qualify for Roblox’s Developer Exchange, or DevEx. Most purchased, gifted, transferred, subscription, gift-card, and trading Robux cannot be cashed out through DevEx.

Every legitimate way to get Robux at a glance
The best method depends on whether you need Robux immediately, can spend real money, want to build a long-term creator income, or already own tradable Limited items. This table summarizes the current options.
| Method | Cost to you | Speed | Main requirements | DevEx-eligible? | Main limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Buy on the Roblox website or computer | Real money | Usually immediate | Payment method and the correct Roblox account | No | Prices, taxes, packages, and regional availability can change |
| Buy in the mobile, PlayStation, or Xbox app | Real money | Usually immediate | Platform payment account | No | May provide less value than web or Gift Card purchases |
| Redeem an official Gift Card | Usually paid by the buyer | After redemption | Valid code, correct account, and supported country or region | No | Cards are generally nonrefundable and should come from authorized sellers |
| Robux gifting link | Another person pays | Usually immediate | Select-account availability, supported region, browser checkout, and verification | No | Currently limited to select users in the United States; purchases are final |
| Roblox Plus bundle | Recurring subscription | Monthly | Supported region and payment method | No for the stipend | Plain Roblox Plus does not include monthly Robux |
| Existing Premium membership | Existing subscription | Monthly | Must already have an active membership | No for the stipend | New Premium purchases closed on April 30, 2026 |
| Microsoft Rewards | No direct Robux purchase, but time and activity | Slow and variable | Supported market and a live Roblox reward in the catalog | No | Point values, limits, and rewards vary by account and country |
| Build and monetize an experience | Time and skill | Slow and uncertain | Published content, legitimate users, and working monetization | Potentially, if compliant | Most new experiences earn little without a good product and audience |
| Sell avatar items | Time plus upfront Robux fees | Slow and uncertain | Verification, two-step verification, a qualifying subscription, moderation, and fees | Potentially, if compliant | Items can fail moderation and sales have a 30-day escrow hold |
| Sell Creator Store models or plugins | Time and skill | Slow and uncertain | Eligible seller account and Stripe support in your country | Paid in cash, not Robux | Prices are in U.S. dollars, not Robux |
| Group payout | No direct cost to the recipient | Depends on the group | Legitimate group revenue and an authorized payout | Possibly, if the funds are bona fide creator earnings | Not a general free-Robux program |
| Trade Limited items | Existing items and a qualifying subscription | Variable | Tradable Limited or Limited U items and trading enabled | No | 30% fee on Robux in trades, scams, and irreversible transactions |

First, understand what kind of Robux you are getting
Purchased Robux are bought with real money through Roblox, a platform store, or an official Gift Card. Received Robux are bought or transferred by somebody else. Creator earnings result from eligible sales, subscriptions, rewards, or other Roblox monetization programs.
Roblox uses the term Earned Robux for a narrower category of compliant creator revenue. They are the Robux that may qualify for DevEx. Purchased Robux, Gift Card redemptions, subscription stipends, transfers, group funds that did not come from bona fide earnings, and trading or resale proceeds are generally spendable but not DevEx-eligible. Receiving Robux in your balance does not automatically make them cash-out eligible.
1. Buy Robux through an official Roblox channel
The safest immediate option is the Buy Robux page on the Roblox website or the official Roblox app. Roblox also supports purchases through its official computer, mobile, PlayStation, and Xbox experiences. Sign in to the account that should receive the Robux before checking out, especially if a parent is making the purchase.
Roblox says purchases made on the web, computer, and with Gift Cards can provide up to 25% more Robux than standard supported purchase channels. The exact value is not a permanent rule for every package or country: taxes, currency conversion, platform fees, regional pricing, promotions, and package availability can change. Check the live checkout page rather than relying on an old price chart.
Safer buying checklist
- Use Roblox.com or the official Roblox application downloaded from your platform’s legitimate store.
- Check the username and avatar before paying. A purchase on the wrong account is a common and frustrating mistake.
- For a child or teen, have a parent or guardian approve the purchase and keep the receipt.
- Do not buy from an unofficial reseller, social-media account, Discord seller, or website promising a discount.
- Do not assume a charge can be reversed. Roblox purchases are generally final and nonrefundable except where required by law.
If payment succeeds but the balance does not update, first confirm that you are looking at the account used during checkout and avoid buying again immediately. Check the platform or payment receipt, then use the appropriate Roblox or platform support route. A parent’s chargeback or disputed payment can lead to account restrictions, so resolve billing problems through official support.
2. Redeem a Roblox Gift Card
Official Roblox Gift Cards are useful when a parent or friend wants to pay without logging in to your account. Buy cards from Roblox or an authorized retailer. Unauthorized sellers may offer already-used, stolen, altered, or invalid codes.
Gift Cards are not all identical. Depending on the card, redemption may add Roblox Credit, Robux directly, or a promotional virtual item. Credit may remain as account credit until you use it through Roblox’s supported purchase flow; it is not necessarily converted into Robux the moment you redeem the code.
How to redeem a Gift Card
- Open Roblox.com/redeem in a browser.
- Sign in to the correct Roblox account.
- Enter the code exactly as printed.
- Select Redeem.
- Confirm that the credit, Robux, or promotional item was added to the account.
Standard mobile apps and consoles generally do not show the normal Gift Card redemption screen. Samsung Galaxy users may also have an in-app redemption option. For the current rules, country conversion details, and exceptions, see Roblox’s Gift Card redemption instructions and the applicable Gift Card terms.

3. Receive Robux from a parent or friend
Roblox currently has two different systems for another person to provide Robux. They should not be confused.
A. Purchase-based Robux gifting links
With the gifting-link feature, the recipient requests a package and another person purchases it. Roblox’s current support documentation describes this as available to select users in the United States, so it is not a universal feature for every country, age, account, or platform.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →- Open the Buy Robux page on the desktop website or web browser.
- If the account has access, select Request Robux.
- Share the generated link or QR code with a trusted person.
- The purchaser checks the displayed username and avatar carefully.
- The purchaser chooses a package, verifies a phone number, adds payment information, and completes the browser checkout.
- The Robux are added to the requesting account if the transaction succeeds.
Do not use a suspicious shortened link or assume that a link showing a familiar display name belongs to the right account. The purchaser should verify the username and avatar on the Roblox page before paying. Gifted packages use standard pricing and do not receive Premium pricing or bonus items through this feature. Purchases are final and nonrefundable.
See the current Roblox Gifting Robux instructions for the account and regional requirements shown to you.
B. Direct transfers through Roblox Plus
A Roblox Plus subscriber can send Robux directly to another user, and the recipient does not need to subscribe to Plus. A transfer can be started from the recipient’s profile or from the Buy Robux page:
- Enter the amount to send.
- Select Continue.
- Review the recipient and amount.
- Select Send.
- The recipient accepts the pending transfer from the Roblox notification.
Completed transfers are final and cannot be reversed. Never send Robux to a stranger, and check the recipient’s username before confirming. A recipient cannot use transferred Robux for DevEx.

Eligibility is not identical everywhere. Roblox’s support pages currently describe age-check requirements differently: one transfer section refers to age verification at 16 or older, while the Roblox Plus information describes age-verification and 18-plus requirements. Regional rules may also require parental approval. Follow the age, identity, and parental instructions displayed in your account rather than assuming one worldwide rule.
The current help page lists transfer limits of up to 500 Robux per day and 1,000 per month, or up to 5,000 per day and 10,000 per month for qualifying accounts with two-step verification. Roblox says these limits can change. Pending transfers may also be canceled under the applicable rules, so check the notification status if the recipient does not receive the Robux. Read the current Sending and Receiving Robux help page before transferring.
4. Roblox Plus, Plus bundles, and existing Premium
Roblox Plus does not always include Robux
| Product | Recurring monthly Robux | Current status |
|---|---|---|
| Roblox Plus | None | Available where supported; includes Plus benefits but no automatic stipend |
| Plus 500 | 500 | Available where supported |
| Plus 1000 | 1,000 | Available where supported |
| Plus 2000 | 2,000 | Available where supported |
| Roblox Premium | According to the existing member’s plan | New purchases closed April 30, 2026 |
Plain Roblox Plus is a benefits subscription, not a monthly Robux plan. The Plus 500, Plus 1000, and Plus 2000 bundles add the corresponding recurring monthly amount. Plus benefits can include discounts on eligible purchases, free private-server access, Robux transfers, Limited-item trading and resale, and Marketplace publishing access. Roblox says the purchase discount starts at 10% and increases to 20% from the third consecutive month, with exclusions including resold items, high-priced items, ad credits, publishing fees, and group fees. Check the live subscription page for current prices, availability, and terms.
Roblox Plus is also relevant to creators: Roblox documents incentives connected with new Plus subscribers acquired through qualifying in-game prompts, Plus subscribers’ paid-private-server engagement, transfers initiated through a game’s Transfer API, and Roblox-subsidized discounts that preserve a creator’s normal payout. These are creator monetization programs, not a way for an ordinary player to claim free Robux.
Read the current Roblox Plus details before subscribing.
Premium is not available to new subscribers
Roblox stopped accepting new Premium purchases on April 30, 2026. Existing subscribers may retain their memberships and continue receiving the monthly stipend associated with their plan. Existing Premium 1000 and Premium 2200 members retain avatar-item publishing privileges, but the 10% Robux-purchase bonus ended on May 30, 2026. A canceled Premium membership cannot be restarted.
Therefore, an old guide telling a new player to buy Premium for monthly Robux, a 10% purchase bonus, or general access is out of date. See Roblox’s Premium Membership notice for the current treatment of existing subscriptions.
5. Get Robux without directly buying Robux
There is no Roblox-issued universal method that gives everybody free Robux. Legitimate no-direct-purchase routes exist, but they involve time, creating value, a legitimate gift, or a separate company’s rewards program.

Microsoft Rewards can let eligible users exchange points for a Roblox digital card in supported markets. It is operated by Microsoft, not Roblox, and is not a Robux generator.
- Join Microsoft Rewards in a supported country or region.
- Earn points through eligible Bing searches, quizzes, Microsoft or Xbox activity, or qualifying purchases.
- Check your live Rewards catalog for a Roblox digital card or another usable Microsoft-funded option.
- Redeem the reward.
- Use the resulting code or balance through an official Roblox purchase or redemption path.
Microsoft says earning methods, daily limits, reward catalogs, point costs, and availability vary by country and account. Do not trust a third-party page claiming to offer a guaranteed Microsoft Rewards exchange, and do not publish a fixed point cost unless you have checked the reader’s live catalog.
Official promotions and genuine gifts
A legitimate promotion, giveaway, or gift can provide Robux or a Gift Card, but it is not the same as a universal free-Robux code. Verify promotions through Roblox’s official website, blog, notifications, or in-product announcements. A real promotion will not require your password, browser cookie, two-step verification code, backup code, security key, or an upfront payment to unlock a prize.
6. Earn Robux by making Roblox experiences
Building an experience is the main long-term route for getting Robux without directly purchasing them. It is not quick money: you need a useful or entertaining product, real players, working monetization, and compliance with Roblox rules. Roblox provides an overview in its experience monetization documentation.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteExperience passes
A pass is a one-time purchase that can provide a permanent privilege, such as VIP access, a special area, or a permanent power-up. For a pass sold in your own experience, the creator generally receives 70% of the Robux spent.
- Publish the experience and make it accessible.
- Open Creator Dashboard and select the experience.
- Go to Monetization → Passes.
- Select Create pass.
- Add the icon, name, description, and category, then create the pass.
- Open the pass’s sales settings.
- Enable Item for Sale, set the Robux price, and save.
Creating a pass is not enough: it must be placed for sale, and your experience must offer a real reason for players to buy it. Roblox disabled cross-game pass and developer-product sales mechanics beginning May 30, 2026. That means old guides recommending a donation experience that sells a pass belonging to another experience are no longer current; use Roblox’s supported gifting or transfer systems instead.
Pass and other in-experience revenue can be subject to holds, refunds, moderation decisions, and product-specific rules. The 70% figure should not be applied automatically to Marketplace items, subscriptions, advertisements, Creator Rewards, or Creator Store sales.
Rank #3
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
Developer products
Developer products are repeatable purchases, unlike passes. Examples include in-game currency, boosts, ammunition, potions, or extra attempts. The current Creator Hub allows prices from 1 Robux up to 1 billion Robux, but the important technical requirement is correct receipt handling.
- Publish the experience and open it in Creator Dashboard.
- Go to Monetization → Developer Products.
- Select Create developer product.
- Add an image, name, description, category, and price, then save.
- Implement purchase handling with
ProcessReceipt. - Test the receipt and reward process before enabling sales for players.
Do not use PromptProductPurchaseFinished as proof that a purchase was successfully completed. Roblox specifically directs developers to process receipts and grant the product through ProcessReceipt. Keep the purchase and fulfillment records your game needs; Roblox’s monetization guidance does not remove a creator’s responsibility to maintain appropriate records.
A product that charges a player but fails to grant the promised item creates support, refund, and trust problems. Test duplicate receipts, interrupted sessions, and server failures before launch.
Experience subscriptions
Experience subscriptions provide recurring benefits for a monthly fee. They can be priced in Robux or local currency and generally auto-renew. Roblox’s current documentation says qualifying subscription sales generally pay the creator 70% in the first month and 100% in later months, subject to applicable holds, refunds, and program rules. Use subscriptions only when you can deliver ongoing value rather than a one-time item.
Paid access
Paid access charges a one-time fee in Robux or local currency for entry to an experience. It can make sense for an established game, a closed beta, or a specialized experience with demand. It is usually a poor fit for a brand-new game that needs a large audience to discover it.
Paid private servers
Creators can charge a recurring monthly Robux fee for private servers.
- Publish the experience.
- Open it in Roblox Studio.
- Go to File → Experience Settings.
- Select Monetization.
- Enable Private Servers, choose Paid, and set the monthly Robux price.
- Save the settings.
Roblox says the price can be changed only once every 60 days. Changing the price cancels active private-server subscriptions, so choose the initial price carefully and warn existing customers before making a change.
Creator Rewards
Creator Rewards provide Roblox payouts for qualifying engagement and audience growth. They reward genuine player activity, not automated traffic.
Daily Engagement Rewards
- The creator receives 5 Robux for each qualifying Active Spender who spends at least 10 minutes in the experience.
- The experience must be one of the first three experiences that user launches that day.
- The user must have spent at least $9.99 on Roblox in the previous 60 days.
- No additional creator enrollment is required for Daily Engagement Rewards.
Audience Expansion Rewards
A qualifying new or reactivated user must arrive through an eligible share link, direct link, or search, play the experience for at least 10 minutes on the relevant day, and be attributed under Roblox’s rules. The experience must maintain an average of at least 100 daily active users for 60 days. A creator may receive a 35% revenue share on the user’s first $100 of qualifying purchases during the applicable 60-day period.
Recommended Free Tools
Audience Expansion Rewards require an ID-verified account in good standing and a valid DevEx account. Additional group-owner requirements apply when the experience belongs to a community. Read the complete Creator Rewards rules before building a business around an estimate.
Never use bots, automated visits, teleport manipulation, alt-account farming, artificial engagement, fraudulent transactions, or misleading claims about Roblox affiliation. Roblox can withhold or remove rewards and terminate accounts for abuse.
Other experience monetization
Roblox also documents advertising and Roblox Plus-related incentives as creator revenue routes. Their eligibility and economics differ from ordinary in-experience sales, so consult the current Creator Hub monetization documentation rather than assuming every method pays the standard 70% share.
7. Sell avatar items on the Marketplace
Avatar-item sales can produce qualifying creator earnings, but ordinary players cannot automatically upload and sell anything they want. Current requirements generally include:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →- Government ID verification or a linked parental account for uploading.
- Two-step verification for publishing.

- A publishing advance of 10 to 2,500 Robux, depending on the item.
- Roblox Plus or Premium 1000 or 2200 for the individual creator or group owner to publish and keep items on sale.
- Compliance with Marketplace policies and Roblox Community Standards.
General Marketplace workflow
- Create a compliant accessory, clothing item, body, head, emote, or another supported asset.
- Upload it through Roblox Studio or Creator Dashboard.
- Pay the applicable upload fee.
- Wait for moderation.
- Open the item’s Manage Item page.
- Configure metadata, availability, pricing, and sale location.
- Pay the publishing advance where applicable.
- Publish and enable the item for sale.
Do not assume that paying an upload fee guarantees approval. An item can fail moderation after the fee has been paid, and a creator can lose eligibility later, causing existing items to go off-sale. Classic clothing uploads are not automatically available to every account.
The standard Marketplace table gives the creator 30% of a Marketplace sale. When an item is purchased inside another experience, the experience owner may receive an additional seller share. Roblox now describes progressive revenue sharing, so the exact payout can depend on the item type, price, location, and sale context. Marketplace sales also have a 30-day escrow hold. Check the current Marketplace policy, publishing instructions, and fees and commissions table before spending Robux on submissions.

8. Sell models and plugins for cash, not Robux
The Creator Store is a separate creator route. Models and plugins are priced in U.S. dollars, not Robux, so this does not increase a player’s Robux balance.
Roblox says creators receive 100% of net proceeds after taxes and payment-processing fees. Current minimum prices are $4.99 for plugins and $2.99 for models. Sales enter a 30-day escrow period before payout through the seller’s Stripe account, and seller availability depends on the creator’s country and Stripe support.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThis can be attractive if your goal is real-world creator income rather than in-game currency. See the current Creator Store documentation for seller eligibility and payout details.
9. Group payouts: possible, but not free Robux
A group owner or authorized group-finance manager can distribute legitimate group revenue through one-time payouts, recurring percentage payouts, or game-specific revenue splits. This is compensation from a group’s earnings, not a public Robux giveaway.
Some groups may not have revenue pages immediately because of age or funding restrictions. Only group funds that came from bona fide, compliant creator activity can count as Earned Robux for DevEx. Never join a group that asks for your password, browser cookies, a fee, or off-platform account access in exchange for a promised payout. Read Roblox’s group documentation for current finance rules.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.10. DevEx: which Robux can become real money?
DevEx is the official Roblox route for eligible creators to exchange qualifying Earned Robux for real currency. It is not a way to cash out a balance built by buying Robux or receiving them from somebody else.
Published DevEx requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- You must have at least 30,000 Earned Robux.
- Your Roblox account must have a verified email address.
- You need a valid DevEx portal account.
- You must submit the appropriate tax form: W-9 for U.S. taxpayers or W-8 for non-U.S. taxpayers.
- You must continue complying with Roblox’s Terms of Use and Community Standards.
Roblox’s standard published exchange rate is $0.0038 per Earned Robux. At that rate, 30,000 Earned Robux equals $114. Certain eligible earnings from U.S. players aged 18 or older may qualify for a higher $0.0054 rate. Older qualifying balances earned before September 5, 2025, may be processed first at the former $0.0035 rate.
Roblox reviews each request and can reject it. A creator can submit only one DevEx request per calendar month. Purchased Robux, Gift Card redemptions, subscription stipends, transfers, and trading or resale proceeds are excluded. Group payouts count only when the underlying group funds came from bona fide, compliant earnings. The Developer Exchange documentation is the controlling source for eligibility, rates, exclusions, and tax requirements.
11. Trading Limited items for Robux
Trading is a possible way to change existing Limited or Limited U items into Robux, but it is an advanced and risky method rather than a reliable free-Robux strategy.
- Both traders need an active Roblox Plus or Premium subscription.
- Trading and inventory visibility must be enabled.
- A 30% fee is removed from Robux included in a trade.
- The Robux added cannot exceed 50% of the current value of the offered items after the fee.
- Roblox cannot undo a completed trade.
- Robux obtained from trading or resale are not DevEx-eligible.
Do not confuse trading with creating compliant content. Trading depends on already owning valuable items, exposes you to impersonation and bad deals, and can permanently lose an item if you accept the wrong offer. Read Roblox’s Trading System rules before accepting any trade.

What does not work—and what can steal your account
Roblox explicitly says that free-Robux or subscription generators do not exist. A website, video, game, extension, or message promising unlimited Robux, a secret code, or a survey payout is either a scam, a phishing attempt, or a violation of Roblox’s rules.
Never do these things for Robux
- Enter your Roblox password anywhere except the official Roblox login page.
- Give anyone your browser cookies, two-step verification codes, backup codes, security keys, or recovery information.
- Install a Robux generator, exploit, hacked client, suspicious browser extension, or unknown executable.
- Click a shortened or suspicious link promising a prize or donation.
- Pay a stranger a deposit for a promised group payout, giveaway, DevEx service, or item.
- Buy Robux from unofficial resellers.
- Transfer Robux to someone who claims the transfer is needed for verification.
- Give a stranger account access to upload clothing, make a game, or process DevEx.
Fake giveaways often use stolen accounts, fake login pages, impersonated creators, or screenshots as supposed proof. Legitimate Roblox promotions are announced through official Roblox channels. Roblox’s generator warning and account-safety guidance are worth sharing with younger players.
Which method is best for you?
- Need Robux now: Use the official Roblox website or an official Gift Card. Compare the live value shown on the web checkout rather than relying on a stale price list.
- A parent or friend is paying: Use an official Gift Card or the Roblox gifting-link feature if it appears on your account and is supported in your region. Verify the recipient before payment.
- Have no money but can spend time: Check Microsoft Rewards in your market, or learn to make legitimate Roblox content. Neither is instant, and neither is a Roblox generator.
- Want a long-term income stream: Build an experience, learn passes, developer products, subscriptions, private servers, Creator Rewards, or advertising, then understand DevEx before treating Robux as income.
- Want to sell digital work: Consider Marketplace avatar items for Robux or Creator Store models and plugins for U.S.-dollar proceeds. Each has different verification, moderation, fees, holds, and payout rules.
- Already own Limited items: Trade only if you understand values, fees, scams, and irreversible transactions. Trading proceeds cannot be cashed out through DevEx.
- Under 18: Involve a parent or guardian in purchases, Gift Cards, subscriptions, transfers, and any creator payout or tax process. Never accept an off-platform offer that requires credentials.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get Robux without paying real money?
There is no universal Roblox-issued free-Robux method. You can earn qualifying Robux by creating and monetizing compliant experiences or avatar content, and Microsoft Rewards may provide a Roblox digital card in supported markets. Both creator earnings and Microsoft Rewards require time and eligibility; generators, secret codes, and survey walls are not legitimate.

Microsoft Rewards is a legitimate Microsoft loyalty program, not a Roblox generator. In supported markets, its live catalog may include a Roblox digital card. Point costs, daily limits, rewards, and availability vary by country and account, so check your own Microsoft Rewards account.
Is Roblox Premium still available?
Roblox stopped accepting new Premium purchases on April 30, 2026. Existing subscribers may retain their plans and monthly stipends, but the 10% Robux-purchase bonus ended May 30, 2026, and canceled memberships cannot be restarted.
Does Roblox Plus give Robux every month?
Plain Roblox Plus does not include a monthly Robux stipend. The Plus 500, Plus 1000, and Plus 2000 bundles include 500, 1,000, and 2,000 recurring monthly Robux respectively, where supported.
Can someone send Robux directly to me?
Yes, through Roblox’s purchase-based gifting link feature where the account and region are eligible, or through direct Roblox Plus transfers. Gifting-link availability is currently limited to select users in the United States. Transfers require applicable age, verification, and possibly parental approval, are final once completed, and cannot be used for DevEx.
Can I receive Robux from a Roblox group?
A group owner or authorized finance manager can make one-time, recurring, or game-specific payouts from legitimate group revenue. This is compensation, not a general free-Robux program. Never pay a fee or provide your password, cookies, or account access to qualify.
Can I sell clothing or avatar items for Robux?
Eligible creators and groups can sell supported Marketplace items, but current requirements generally include verification or a linked parental account, two-step verification, Roblox Plus or qualifying Premium access, upload fees, a possible publishing advance, moderation approval, and policy compliance. Marketplace revenue is held in escrow and the exact share depends on the item and sale context.
How many Robux does a creator need before using DevEx?
The published minimum is 30,000 Earned Robux, along with being at least 13, having a verified email, a valid DevEx portal account, the required tax form, and good standing. Purchased, gifted, transferred, subscription, Gift Card, and trading Robux do not qualify.
Can purchased Robux be exchanged for cash?
No. DevEx is for qualifying Earned Robux from compliant creator activity. Purchased Robux, Gift Card Robux, subscription stipends, transfers, and trading or resale proceeds are generally excluded.
Can Roblox reverse a Robux transfer or Limited-item trade?
Completed Roblox Plus transfers are final, and Roblox says completed Limited-item trades cannot be undone. Check the recipient, items, and amounts carefully before confirming.
What should I do if I entered my Roblox password on a free-Robux website?
Change the password immediately through official Roblox account settings, use a unique password, enable two-step verification, review account activity and connected sessions, and contact Roblox Support if anything is missing. Never provide the scam site with another verification code.
The Bottom Line
The safe answer is simple: buy through Roblox or an authorized Gift Card, accept Robux only through Roblox’s supported gifting or transfer systems, or earn them by creating genuine content. Microsoft Rewards can indirectly fund a Roblox purchase in supported markets, but generators, secret codes, fake giveaways, hacked clients, and off-platform sellers are scams. If your goal is real money, build compliant creator earnings and learn the DevEx rules—because most Robux that can be spent cannot be cashed out.
