Tabby Bee, Photon Bee, and Vicious Bee are the strongest general event-bee priorities, but the best bee for your hive depends on progression stage and build. Blue, red, and white hives each have different S-tier cores, while early and mid-game players usually gain more from a mixed hive than from forcing an endgame color composition.
Use the rankings below as a decision framework—not an instruction to replace your current bee immediately. Gifted status, event-bee access, Tabby Love stacks, hive level, amulets, beequips, and your current bottleneck can all matter more than a tier letter.
Quick answer: the best bees depend on your hive
There is no single bee that every Bee Swarm Simulator player should chase. Tabby Bee and Photon Bee are usually the best long-term event-bee priorities for general progression, while Vicious Bee is the standout combat choice. For mature color hives, Tadpole Bee and Buoyant Bee lead blue, Precise Bee and Spicy Bee lead red, and Vector Bee, Gummy Bee, and Fuzzy Bee lead white.
That distinction matters. An S-tier mythic designed for an endgame blue, red, or white hive may be a worse immediate upgrade than a B-tier support bee that fixes your current problem. Early and mid-game players should generally remain mixed while completing broad quests, unlocking equipment, collecting gifted bee types, and preparing for a Supreme Star Amulet.

| Tier | Bees | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| S | Tabby, Photon, Gummy, Fuzzy, Vector, Tadpole, Buoyant, Precise, Spicy, Vicious | Top long-term investments or defining endgame specialists |
| A | Windy, Digital, Festive, Music, Crimson, Cobalt | Excellent support, event utility, or color pairing |
| B | Diamond, Shy, Riley, Bucko, Bubble, Fire, Frosty, Baby, Carpenter, Ninja, Lion, Demon, Rage, Commander | Strong progression bees and useful role players |
| C | Basic, Bumble, Bomber, Looker, Hasty, Exhausted, Brave, Cool, Rad, Rascal, Stubborn, Shocked, Demo, Puppy | Early-game fillers, placeholders, or narrow specialists |
Important exception: a Gifted Basic Bee is not a normal C-tier replacement. Its hive-wide bonus makes it worth keeping in most accounts.
How to read this tier list
Bee Swarm Simulator is a progression game built around collecting pollen, converting it into honey, completing quests, expanding your hive, unlocking zones and equipment, and fighting hostile bugs and monsters. A bee’s value therefore has several dimensions:
- Immediate progression: Does it help you finish quests, survive enemies, or convert pollen with the equipment you currently own?
- Long-term account value: Does it scale permanently, provide a rare hive bonus, or remain useful after specialization?
- Hive compatibility: Does it support your color, amulets, beequips, boosts, and existing token coverage?
- Availability and opportunity cost: Is it an event bee, a difficult mythic, or a bee that requires a large resource investment?
The ranking below combines those factors. It is not an official developer ranking, a guaranteed honey-per-hour table, or an independently verified damage-per-second test. Community guides disagree on the precise order because they weight combat, gifting, scarcity, account age, and endgame specialization differently.

- S tier: A premier long-term investment or a defining bee for a specialized hive. Some S-tier bees are not beginner-friendly.
- A tier: Excellent support or specialist value, but usually more conditional than S tier.
- B tier: Very useful during progression or for a particular problem, but commonly replaceable later.
- C tier: Mostly an early-game filler, temporary slot, or narrow utility bee. C does not mean useless.
S-tier bees
Tabby Bee
Best for: nearly every account that plans to play for a long time.
Tabby Bee is one of the strongest long-term event-bee investments because Tabby Love permanently improves its gathering, conversion, and Scratch performance as you collect stacks. The community reference documents scaling up to 1,000 Tabby Love stacks, which is why obtaining Tabby earlier can be valuable: every subsequent session gives the bee more time to accumulate permanent progress.
Tabby is not necessarily the fastest short-term answer to a full backpack or a weak early hive. Its main advantage is account longevity. Its gifted critical-power bonus also makes gifted Tabby a major target, but event bees cannot be gifted with ordinary favorite treats.
Photon Bee
Best for: early, mid-game, and mixed-hive progression.
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
Photon’s Beamstorm and instant-conversion utility make it one of the most practical event bees. It helps reduce backpack pressure and lets you spend more time collecting instead of returning to the hive to convert. That immediate usefulness is why Photon often feels stronger than a highly specialized mythic on a developing account.
Photon and Tabby are both high-priority event bees, but their order is account-dependent. Tabby rewards early acquisition because its permanent stacks compound over time; Photon is the more direct choice when your main bottleneck is conversion, capacity pressure, or general mixed-hive farming.
Gummy Bee
Best for: white hives, goo collection, and honey production.
Gummy Bee’s Glob and Gumdrop Barrage abilities make it a central white-hive bee and a powerful goo-focused investment. Its gifted bonus improves honey from pollen. The trade-off is cost: Gummy requires a substantial gumdrop investment and progression through the Gummy Bear path, so it should not be treated as a routine early-game Royal Jelly target.
Gummy is not interchangeable with Fuzzy or Windy. Gummy emphasizes goo and honey, while Fuzzy improves flowers and Windy provides field control and tornado/cloud utility.
Fuzzy Bee
Best for: white and mixed hives that need swarm-wide support.

Fuzz Bombs and Pollen Haze improve flower quality and help the entire swarm collect more pollen. That support can make Fuzzy valuable even before you commit to a pure white hive. It is one of the better examples of a bee whose practical value comes from improving other bees rather than simply producing the most obvious personal tokens.
Vector Bee
Best for: established white hives built around marks.
Recommended Free Tools
Vector’s Triangulate and mark-related mechanics provide strong field-wide collection value, particularly alongside Gummy Bee, Carpenter Bee, mark-focused equipment, and amulet effects. Its endgame reputation is deserved, but it is not an automatic beginner upgrade. Vector is difficult to obtain and needs a compatible hive to realize its potential.
Tadpole Bee
Best for: blue hives.
Tadpole generates frogs and bubbles and supports blue-pollen collection. Its value rises sharply when paired with a blue hive’s balloon, bubble, capacity, and sustained-farming synergies. In a mixed or red hive, however, Tadpole is much less compelling than its S-tier label suggests.
Buoyant Bee
Best for: established blue hives and long farming sessions.
Buoyant’s balloon and capacity mechanics are core parts of a developed blue hive. It belongs near the top for players already committed to blue, but it should not pressure a player who is still completing mixed-hive quests into specializing prematurely.
Precise Bee
Best for: red hives with reliable target and critical-hit generation.
Precise centers on Target Practice, critical effects, and red-hive damage and pollen output. It becomes especially effective when your hive can consistently generate and exploit targets, critical bonuses, flames, and red boosts. Without that supporting structure, it is less universally useful than its mythic status implies.
Spicy Bee
Best for: red hives built around flames and Rage.
Spicy supports flames, Inferno, and Rage, making it a core red-hive contributor. It is a top choice for a developed red build, not a reason for an early-game player to abandon a mixed hive before acquiring the equipment, amulets, gifted collection, and resources needed to support red mechanics.
Vicious Bee
Best for: combat, bosses, and difficult field enemies.
Vicious is the premier combat-focused bee and a high-priority event bee for players who need more boss damage. Its combat value is clearer than its pollen value, so it is S tier for fighting and closer to A tier when judged only by general honey production. If your current bottleneck is defeating enemies rather than filling a backpack, Vicious may be the most important bee on this list.
A-tier bees
Windy Bee
Best for: white and mixed hives that benefit from field control.
Windy’s Tornado provides field control, while its cloud mechanics support pollen and token collection. It is difficult to obtain because it depends on Wind Shrine favor and Cloud Vials, so its practical priority depends on your resources and progression. Windy is excellent, but its acquisition path makes it a less predictable recommendation than Tabby or Photon.
Digital Bee
Best for: developed hives and high-end ability-token strategies.

Digital’s ability-token duplication and specialized utility can be extremely strong in a mature hive. It is less immediately useful for a beginner because it is resource-intensive and does not replace the foundational value of the early event-bee priorities.
Festive Bee
Best for: developed hives and boost-focused play.
Festive Gift and its related mechanics provide broad support. Festive is particularly useful when your hive and equipment are already capable of taking advantage of boost windows, but its exact ranking changes depending on whether you value general support, event scarcity, or a specific color composition.
Music Bee
Best for: almost every hive that needs critical-hit support.
Melody and Focus make Music Bee one of the strongest general support choices. More than one Music Bee can be useful during progression, but there is no universal correct number. Check whether your beequips, gifted bonuses, amulets, and other token sources already provide enough Focus and critical coverage before adding duplicates.

Best for: paired red-and-blue pulse support and event-bee color coverage.
Crimson and Cobalt are usually more useful together or in a build that benefits from their red/blue pulse interactions than as isolated universal upgrades. They are strong color-support event bees, but neither should automatically displace a bee that is solving a more urgent progression problem.
B-tier bees
B-tier bees are not bad pulls. They are useful progression tools, support options, and placeholders that become less central as mythic bees, event bees, gifted bonuses, and endgame equipment take over their roles.
Diamond Bee
Diamond provides strong blue and mixed-hive support, especially through conversion and honey-related utility. It is often valuable before a blue hive is mature, then becomes less central once the account has its endgame blue equipment and mythic core.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteColor-support progression bees
Riley Bee and Fire Bee help red progression, while Bucko Bee, Bubble Bee, and Frosty Bee help blue progression. Shy Bee is another useful color-support option. These bees can be exactly what a developing hive needs, but they are usually replaced when mythic or event bees can perform the same job more efficiently.
Baby Bee
Baby Bee is situational support. Baby Love and its loot-luck utility can help with boss drops and farming, even though Baby is not a universal pollen powerhouse. One copy may be worthwhile depending on whether your priority is loot, progression, or raw honey.
Carpenter Bee
Carpenter is valuable for marks and conversion support, particularly in mixed and white-oriented builds. It can outperform its apparent rarity ranking when the rest of your hive is built around marks, which is why removing it solely because a tier list places it in B can be a mistake.
Ninja Bee
Ninja provides blue-pollen and mobility-oriented utility. It is a useful progression placeholder, but generally not a permanent endgame centerpiece once your hive has stronger blue specialists.

Both are helpful for early combat and boss progression. Their practical value is higher when you are struggling to defeat enemies than when you are optimizing honey per hour. Most players eventually replace them with more specialized or higher-scaling options.
Rage Bee and Commander Bee
Rage helps attack-oriented progression, while Commander supports Focus and critical-oriented play. Their value depends on whether Music Bee, gifted bonuses, beequips, or amulets already provide equivalent token coverage.

C-tier bees
C tier means “usually temporary or narrow,” not “never useful.” These bees can help complete early quests, fill an empty slot, or solve a specific issue such as movement speed, energy, attack, critical chance, or bomb-token coverage.
Basic Bee
A normal Basic Bee is an early-game starter and is usually a replacement candidate once stronger options appear. Gifted Basic Bee is the major exception. Its hive-wide pollen bonus can remain useful throughout the game, so keep one gifted copy rather than replacing it simply because Basic Bee is Common.
Bumble Bee
Bumble is best treated as an early blue-support filler. It can contribute while you are building a broader hive, but it normally gives way to stronger blue specialists or general support bees as progression continues.
Early quest and utility fillers
Bomber Bee helps with bomb coverage; Looker Bee supports critical chance; Hasty Bee helps movement speed; Exhausted Bee contributes energy; Brave Bee helps attack; Cool Bee supports blue progression; Rad Bee and Rascal Bee provide early red utility; Stubborn Bee and Shocked Bee can solve specific token or progression needs; and Demo Bee is useful for early bomb and attack coverage. Their value is highly dependent on what your current hive lacks.
Puppy Bee
Puppy is a niche event bee focused on treat-bond and leveling utility. It can be useful if your main priority is raising hive levels, but its opportunity cost is high compared with foundational event bees and the color-core mythics.
Best bees by hive color
Blue hive
Build toward Tadpole Bee and Buoyant Bee as the main mythic core. Diamond, Bucko, Bubble, Frosty, Ninja, and Cobalt can contribute depending on your stage, while support bees should fill missing conversion, critical, capacity, and token roles.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Blue hives emphasize capacity, balloons, bubbles, and sustained farming. That means a bee that ranks lower in a general list can be the correct choice if it supplies a mechanic your blue build is missing. Do not copy a mature blue composition before you have the equipment and supporting bonuses that make it work.
Red hive
Red hives generally prioritize Spicy Bee and Precise Bee, supported by Riley, Shy, Fire, and Crimson where appropriate. Their output depends heavily on active play: generating and exploiting flames, targets, critical bonuses, and red-hive boost windows.
A red mythic is not automatically a good early-game investment. If your quests still demand multiple pollen colors, keeping a mixed hive will usually produce better overall progress than chasing a red-only setup.
White hive
White hives prioritize Vector Bee, Gummy Bee, and Fuzzy Bee, with Carpenter, Music, Windy, and other mark, goo, critical, and field-control support.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsWhite can have very high peak output, but it is expensive and mechanically demanding. It is a poor default recommendation for early-game players who lack the needed amulets, gifted-bee collection, equipment, and resources.
Mixed hive
Stay mixed while completing broad bear quests, unlocking gear, collecting gifted types, and preparing for a Supreme Star Amulet. A balanced hive with color coverage and utility is usually stronger for progression than a collection of endgame specialists that do not work together.
In this stage, Gifted Basic, Music, Baby, Carpenter, and the right color-support bee can be more useful than a nominally higher-tier bee that duplicates a role you already have.
Gifted bees: rules that can change the ranking
Gifted bees have improved stats and provide a unique Gifted Hive Bonus. Duplicate gifted bees of the same type do not provide unlimited copies of the same hive bonus, so the first gifted copy of a bee is often much more valuable than later duplicates.

Keep Gifted Basic Bee
Once you obtain a Gifted Basic Bee, normally preserve it. Its hive-wide pollen bonus is the clearest example of why rarity alone cannot determine a replacement decision.
Plan event-bee gifting separately
Event bees cannot be gifted with ordinary favorite treats. Star Treats and other special gifting routes therefore deserve careful planning. Do not spend a valuable gifting resource merely because a tier list labels one bee S tier; consider your eventual hive color, the bee’s gifted bonus, and how long you expect to use it.
Do not overvalue duplicate gifted bonuses
If you already have the gifted copy of a bee and another copy would provide the same hive bonus, the duplicate may be less valuable than a different gifted type or a support bee that fills a missing role.
Tabby, Photon, Vicious, or a color mythic?
Use your current bottleneck rather than a universal acquisition order:
Recommended Free Tools
| If your problem is… | Consider prioritizing… | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Long-term account scaling | Tabby Bee | Tabby Love permanently scales with continued collection. |
| Backpack pressure and conversion time | Photon Bee | Beamstorm and instant conversion improve collection uptime. |
| Bosses and difficult enemies | Vicious Bee | Its combat value is substantially stronger than its general pollen ranking suggests. |
| Blue-hive capacity and balloons | Tadpole or Buoyant Bee | These are core blue-hive mythics, but they need blue support. |
| Red flames and target-based output | Precise or Spicy Bee | They become powerful when your hive can exploit targets, flames, Rage, and critical bonuses. |
| White marks, goo, and flower quality | Vector, Gummy, or Fuzzy Bee | Each supplies a different part of the white-hive engine. |
For ticket spending, Tabby and Photon are both high-priority considerations. A common long-term argument favors Tabby earlier because its permanent stacks benefit from account age, while Photon offers more immediate general utility. Neither recommendation overrides a missing combat bee, an essential event-bee role, or your actual progression bottleneck.
Which bee should you replace?
Before using Royal Jelly or changing a hive slot, run through this checklist:
- Is the bee gifted? Do not replace a gifted bee solely because its normal rarity is low. Check whether you already own that bee’s gifted hive bonus before considering a duplicate.
- Is it an event bee? Treat event bees as long-term account assets. Do not remove one casually to chase a color label unless you have a deliberate re-acquisition and gifting plan.
- What role does it provide? Mark, Melody, Baby Love, Focus, conversion, attack, movement speed, flames, bubbles, balloons, and instant conversion can all matter more than the tier letter.
- Does the replacement duplicate another bee? A new bee may look stronger while adding no new token coverage or hive bonus.
- Are you still mixed? If you are completing broad quests, do not sacrifice necessary color coverage for an endgame specialist.
- What is the immediate bottleneck? Replace around the problem: damage for bosses, conversion for a full backpack, energy for long fields, or support for a color build.
- Can you afford the experiment? Beginners should generally prioritize hive slots, quests, equipment, and a functional mixed hive before expensive Royal Jelly rolling.
A useful comparison is not “Is the new bee S tier?” but “What exactly am I gaining, and what am I losing by removing this specific bee?”
Optional merchandise and Robux funding
Disclosure: These products are optional and do not improve in-game performance or guarantee a particular bee.
For collectors, the official store lists an official Bee Swarm Simulator plush, including products such as a Tabby Bee plush, along with Bee Swarm collectible figures. Stock and availability can be limited, so a listed product may sell out.
If you specifically want optional Robux funding for Roblox purchases, an Roblox gift card is a separate buying option. Roblox provides its own redemption instructions, and a gift card does not guarantee Tabby, Photon, or any other particular bee.
Source and ranking note
The official Roblox listing establishes Bee Swarm Simulator’s basic identity and progression loop. Bee abilities, the roster, and many build details are documented by the community-maintained Bee Swarm Simulator Wiki and current fan guides. Those guides do not agree on every placement, and claims that a guide author personally tested every bee across every hive build are not independently verifiable from the available evidence.
Accordingly, this is a reasoned community-informed framework rather than an official ranking or a guaranteed benchmark. Gifted status, Tabby Love stacks, event-bee availability, hive level, amulets, beequips, balance changes, and the player’s current objective can all move a bee up or down in practical value.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best bee in Bee Swarm Simulator?
There is no universal best bee. Tabby Bee is one of the best long-term investments because Tabby Love permanently scales, Photon Bee is excellent for immediate mixed-hive progression and conversion, and Vicious Bee is the standout combat choice. Mature blue, red, and white hives instead prioritize different mythic cores.
Should I build a blue, red, or white hive early?
Usually, stay mixed while completing broad quests, unlocking equipment, collecting gifted bee types, and preparing for a Supreme Star Amulet. Specialize only when your equipment, amulets, gifted bonuses, resources, and intended color build can support it.
Should I keep Gifted Basic Bee?
Yes. A Gifted Basic Bee’s hive-wide pollen bonus makes it much more valuable than a normal Basic Bee. Keep one gifted copy unless you have a specific, well-considered reason to change your hive.
Should I get Tabby Bee or Photon Bee first?
It depends on your account. Tabby is often favored early because Tabby Love benefits from accumulating over the entire account lifetime. Photon gives more immediate instant-conversion utility, so it may be the better short-term choice if backpack pressure is your main problem.
How many Music Bees should I use?
There is no fixed best number. Music Bee can provide Melody and Focus, but the amount you need depends on other bees, gifted bonuses, beequips, and amulets already covering those effects. Avoid duplicates that add little new token coverage.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Keep a functional mixed hive until your quests, equipment, gifted collection, amulets, and resources support specialization. For broad account value, start by comparing Tabby, Photon, and Vicious according to your bottleneck; for endgame color builds, build around Tadpole/Buoyant for blue, Precise/Spicy for red, or Vector/Gummy/Fuzzy for white. Never replace a Gifted Basic Bee casually, and never let an S-tier label override hive synergy.
