Security Breach Lockers are possible on every ARC Raiders map, but they are not fixed guaranteed spawns anymore. The December 16, 2025 Cold Snap 1.7.0 update changed them to dynamic spawning, so the locations in this guide are reported rooms and sweep areas. Unlock the Security Breach skill first, then search the entire structure—including upper floors, attics, tunnels, ziplines, and locked variants—rather than stopping at one old coordinate.
Security Breach Lockers can appear on every ARC Raiders map, but they are no longer guaranteed at one fixed coordinate. Since Embark’s Cold Snap patch 1.7.0 on December 16, 2025, the lockers use dynamic spawning. The locations below are therefore the best-known rooms and areas to sweep—not promises that a locker will be waiting at every spot in every raid.
What you need before searching
- Unlock the Security Breach skill in the Survival skill tree. The skill is the final Survival-tree node in the commonly documented progression and requires 36 points invested in that branch.
- Bring the relevant key when your route depends on a locked room. Several premium locations require map-specific keys or another access item.
- Search the entire structure. A locker may be upstairs, in an attic, behind a reception area, inside a control room, or along a tunnel connection rather than at the landmark itself.
- Expect competition. Control towers, extraction approaches, and major buildings are attractive to other Raiders. Do not enter a high-traffic area solely because an old guide described a guaranteed locker there.
The practical rule is simple: use the landmark lists as route guides, then check every breachable room, upper floor, zipline destination, tunnel connection, and key-room variant in that structure.
Dam Battlegrounds Security Breach Locker locations
Current community route coverage describes 14 possible Dam Battlegrounds locations. That is a reported route count, not an official promise that all 14 can spawn in one raid. The most useful Dam sweep areas are:

Dam Control Tower and underground control room
- Check the Dam Control Tower, including the control-room areas inside the main building.
- Search the Underground Control Room beneath the main facility. The underground control-room layout is the main visual clue.
- The control-tower route may require the Dam Control Tower Key, so do not treat this as the best first stop if you are running without the key.
Red Lakes
Near the Red Lakes extraction area, check the balcony or extraction-side structure beside the ventilation system. This is a particularly risky search because players often watch extraction routes or wait for Raiders to arrive.
Generator Building
Search around the turbine machinery in the Generator Building. Older route guides describe the locker as being behind or close to the machinery, so inspect the equipment side of the room rather than only checking the building entrance.
Perimeter trenches
Several older Dam routes point to possible positions along the perimeter trenches. Walk the trench walls and inspect recesses rather than sprinting past them. Because the spawn system changed, these should be treated as a trench sweep area, not as one permanent coordinate.
Underground tunnels
Check collapsed tunnel sections, especially the end of a collapsed tunnel. The route is easy to miss if you only search the main Dam buildings.
Dam route priority: If you have the control-tower key, begin with the Control Tower and underground control areas. Without it, search the Generator Building, perimeter trenches, tunnels, and Red Lakes structures first, then decide whether the extraction risk justifies checking the locked route.
Buried City Security Breach Locker locations
Community route coverage lists 16 possible Buried City locations. The named rooms and landmarks below are the most useful places to check:
Rooftop reached by zipline
Look for the building associated with a skull wall marking. The reported route reaches the rooftop by zipline, so check the roof and the connected upper-level rooms rather than searching only at street level.
Santa Monica residential houses
In the Santa Monica residential area, inspect the attic corners of the houses. A locker can be easy to overlook because the relevant space is above the main living area.

Grandioso Apartments
The reported premium location is in the Grandioso Apartments master room. This is a key-dependent route, so bring the required access item before making it the center of your plan.
Town Hall
Search the Town Hall rooftop and archway areas. These are recurring high-value loot areas, but the presence of a locker depends on the raid’s dynamic spawn configuration.
Broad Buried City sweep zones
Map-wise location guides also group possible lockers into the following larger areas:
- Collapsed Metro
- Old Plaza
- Reactor Chamber
- Flooded Sector
Use those names to choose where to sweep, not as a checklist of guaranteed containers. In each zone, check upper floors, side rooms, rooftops, and connected interiors before leaving.

Spaceport Security Breach Locker locations
Earlier guides documented eight Spaceport containers, while newer community route coverage reports 16 possible locations. The larger, newer count is more useful for planning, but dynamic spawning means the exact active set changes by raid.
Shipping Warehouse
The Shipping Warehouse has two reported search points:
- One is immediately to the right after entering the warehouse.
- For the other, use the left-side door, take the zipline upstairs, and check near the stacked monitors.
Do not stop after checking the ground-floor entrance; the upstairs monitor area is a separate part of the sweep.

Arrival and Departure buildings
Two reported locations are grouped around the Arrival and Departure buildings:
- Check inside the building.
- Search farther west near the tower, using the zipline to reach the upper route.
Departure Building
Go downstairs in the Departure Building. Look for the room with red lockers, then check behind the door to the left of the stairs.
Fuel Lines
At Fuel Lines, enter through the Sector 3 door, take the zipline upward, and check the left side of the upper area.
Vehicle Maintenance
At Vehicle Maintenance, enter through the Sector 4 door, go upward, and inspect the left side.
Control Tower A6
Control Tower A6 is the main key-dependent Spaceport route. The Spaceport Control Tower Key can be obtained through the Lost in Transmission quest or found in certain containers. Once inside A6, go past reception, use the zipline route, and search the locked room beside the control panels.
Spaceport route priority: Shipping Warehouse, Departure Building, Fuel Lines, and Vehicle Maintenance are sensible open-route checks. Add Control Tower A6 when you already have the key or when the quest route makes the detour efficient.
The Blue Gate Security Breach Locker locations
Current community-maintained route coverage identifies 18 possible Blue Gate locations. The principal sweep areas are:
- Central Command
- Radar Station
- Storage Depot
- Maintenance Bay
These are area labels rather than developer-issued guarantees. Within each area, search:

- upper floors and rooftop access;
- tunnel connections and side corridors;
- rooms that have more than one layout or key-room variant; and
- spaces reached by ladders, ziplines, or other vertical routes.
Blue Gate is the map where stopping at a single remembered coordinate is especially likely to produce a false negative. If Central Command is empty, sweep the rest of that structure before concluding that the raid has no locker there; if the structure is clear, rotate to Radar Station, Storage Depot, or Maintenance Bay.
Stella Montis Security Breach Locker locations
A current community route guide updated March 31, 2026 lists 12 named Stella Montis locations in its text. Later route coverage reports 13 possible locations. The discrepancy may reflect a later addition or a different counting method, so use the room-by-room list below and treat the count as approximate rather than canonical.
Lobby
There are three reported Lobby possibilities:
- one on the first floor;
- one on the second floor; and
- one in the first-floor Checkpoint Room, which requires a key.
Assembly and Assembly Workshops
- Check the Assembly Workshops control room.
- Check the key-locked Admin Room.
Cultural Archives
The possible locker is in the Cultural Archives Storage Room. This route requires the Archives Key.
Western Tunnel
Two possible rooms are reported in the Western Tunnel, between Loading Bay and Lobby Metro. Check the rooms above the loading-bay route rather than searching only at floor level.
Loading Bay
Search the breachable top-floor room that connects toward the Atrium.
Medical Research
The reported location is in the key-locked Medical Storage room.
Seed Vault
Check inside Seed Vault. This route requires a fuel cell, which the location guide says can be found nearby. If you do not have the fuel cell, avoid building your entire run around this possible spawn.
Sandbox
Search the Sandbox control room above the Sandbox.
Stella Montis route priority: Lobby, Western Tunnel, Loading Bay, and Sandbox offer useful open-route checks when they are on your path. Add Checkpoint Room, Admin Room, Cultural Archives Storage, Medical Storage, or Seed Vault only when you have the required key or fuel cell.

Why a Security Breach Locker may be missing
Finding an empty reported location does not necessarily mean the guide is wrong. Check these possibilities:
- The locker did not spawn there. The 1.7.0 Cold Snap update changed Security Lockers from static placements to dynamic spawning across all maps. A location that was once guaranteed may now be only one possible spawn.
- Another Raider looted it. The container may have existed but been opened before you arrived. This is especially likely near Red Lakes, Town Hall, Control Tower routes, and other high-traffic landmarks.
- You searched the landmark but not the whole structure. Check attics, basements, upper floors, rooms behind stairs, side corridors, zipline landings, and connected tunnels.
- The room requires access. A key, quest route, or fuel cell may be necessary. An inaccessible door can make a valid location look absent.
- Your guide uses an older map inventory. Counts and route lists changed as new locations were added and as the spawn system changed. Older Spaceport lists, for example, documented fewer locations than newer route coverage.
- The location count is being interpreted as a raid total. A community list of 14, 16, or 18 spots means known possible locations in the route inventory—not that every one should be active simultaneously.
A reliable Security Breach Locker search method
- Confirm the skill before deploying. Without Security Breach in the Survival tree, you cannot use the route even if you reach the container.
- Choose an area with multiple nearby possibilities. A cluster such as the Spaceport warehouse and nearby buildings is more efficient than crossing the map for one old “guaranteed” coordinate.
- Search open rooms before locked rooms. This reduces wasted time and avoids carrying an important key into a dangerous area unnecessarily.
- Use vertical movement deliberately. Ziplines, attics, rooftops, upper control rooms, and rooms above tunnels account for many reported locations.
- Clear the entire building before rotating. When the locker is not at the first described point, inspect the surrounding structure and its connected route.
- Only commit to access-gated areas when the reward justifies the risk. Keys and fuel cells are useful, but losing a run while forcing a high-traffic room can be worse than extracting with ordinary loot.
- Plan extraction before opening the locker. Security Lockers can contain valuable items, making the trip home more important than the initial breach.
Patch 1.7.0 also added a skill-tree reset function for Coins, which makes a Survival investment less punishing than it was at launch. The exact availability and cost should be checked against the current game build, but the change means players are not necessarily locked permanently into an early skill choice.
What loot comes from Security Breach Lockers?
Security Lockers are intended to be high-value containers, but no reviewed source provides a complete, permanent official loot table. Reported possibilities include:
- weapons;
- weapon and crafting components;
- blueprints;
- ammunition;
- grenades; and
- rare materials.
Do not assume that every locker contains a blueprint, a rare material, or a top-tier weapon. Embark’s patch 1.2.0 notes said Security Lockers had been providing too many valuable items and adjusted them accordingly. Their value is real, but the reward is variable and should not be treated as guaranteed.
Optional audio advantage for contested locker runs
A gaming headset with clear positional audio is optional, not a requirement, but it can make it easier to hear footsteps, ziplines, doors, and nearby Raiders while searching a contested building or preparing to extract. No particular headset is required for Security Breach Lockers, and audio gear cannot compensate for the risk of a bad route or an inaccessible spawn.

How to read the counts: These are community-maintained possible-location inventories, not official developer totals and not the number of lockers guaranteed in one raid. Embark’s official 1.7.0 patch notes establish the important current rule: Security Lockers dynamically spawn across the maps.

No. Security Lockers can contain weapons, components, blueprints, ammunition, grenades, and rare materials, but the exact reward varies. A blueprint or legendary-quality item is not guaranteed from every locker.
How many Security Breach Locker locations are there?
