When did FC 26 early access start?
FC 26 early access began on September 19, 2025. It was included with the Ultimate Edition, which gave eligible players up to seven days of access before the Standard Edition launch.
- Console: Ultimate Edition access began at midnight in the player’s local time.
- PC: Ultimate Edition access began at midnight BST on September 19. That was September 18 at 7:00 p.m. ET or 4:00 p.m. PT in the United States.
- EA Play: Members received a time-limited 10-hour trial beginning at 1:00 p.m. BST on September 19.
- EA Play Pro on PC: Pro members received unlimited access through the applicable EA Play Pro edition and subscription terms.
“Midnight local time” did not mean that every console player worldwide started simultaneously. The console release was tied to the relevant local region, storefront, or account setting. PC early access, by contrast, used one stated global time: midnight BST.
FC 26 Standard Edition release date
The Standard Edition launched on September 26, 2025, on console, opening at midnight local time. On PC, EA scheduled the Standard Edition for September 25 at 1:00 p.m. BST, which was 8:00 a.m. ET and 5:00 a.m. PT.

- 1000Hz Polling Rate on PC: Experience ultra-responsive gaming with a 1000Hz polling rate on PC, available through both wired and 2.4G wireless connections. This ensures instantaneous input registration, reducing lag and optimizing your performance for the most competitive gameplay.

It introduces powerful new features such as gyro settings, stick curve adjustments, and button-to-mouse mapping, giving you deeper customization and more control than ever before.
That apparent one-day difference is a time-zone and platform-schedule distinction, not a different worldwide game launch. PC players received a single global PC release time, while console players followed local-midnight timing.

- The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions provided cross-generation access within the PlayStation family, subject to EA’s terms.
- The Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions provided cross-generation access within the Xbox family, also subject to EA’s terms.

Before buying a used, physical, or platform-specific copy, check the box or storefront description for the exact edition and included bonuses. A base game entitlement and pre-order content are separate things.

The complete limitations are set out in EA’s FC 26 game offers and disclaimers.
