How to unlock and buy the Rod of the Depths

Unlock The Depths. The Fisch Wiki says access requires the full Vertigo Bestiary and The Depths Key. If you have not met those conditions, do that before attempting the rod route.

Obtain both relic variants. Bring an Abyssal Enchant Relic and a Hexed Enchant Relic. The Rod of the Depths page says they belong at separate altars: the Abyssal altar near Aspicientis and the Hexed altar beside Tenebris.

Place both relics before leaving. The wiki warns that relics can disappear if you place only one and leave, so plan to place both during the same visit.

The Fisch Wiki describes a ghost/stand passive that grants a random fish from the current location every third catch. It reports a 30% chance for that bonus fish to have the Abyssal mutation and a 1-in-10 chance for the bonus fish to be an Enchant Relic. These are the wiki’s current reported figures and may change.

The rod page lists the statue at X: 1689.9, Y: -902.4, Z: 1437.7. Use the landmark and route—the statue in the air pocket at the end of the underwater maze—as your main guide, because coordinates or maze details may change.
The listed purchase price is C$750,000. Your total outlay may be higher if you still need to obtain an Enchant Relic from Merlin and appraise it; the sources do not provide a fixed total for those variable costs.
