The three Warcraft games arrived on PC on June 26, 2025, while Call of Duty: WWII arrived on console and PC on June 30. “Warcraft Trilogy” was editorial shorthand for three separate games—not a new bundle or single product.
Because those dates are now historical, this article explains the original announcement rather than claiming that every title remains in the Game Pass catalog today. Check the current Game Pass catalog before subscribing or downloading.
Quick schedule
| Game | Arrival date | Platforms listed by Xbox | Game Pass tiers listed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warcraft I: Remastered | June 26, 2025 | PC | Ultimate, PC Game Pass |
| Warcraft II: Remastered | June 26, 2025 | PC | Ultimate, PC Game Pass |
| Warcraft III: Reforged | June 26, 2025 | PC | Ultimate, PC Game Pass |
| Call of Duty: WWII | June 30, 2025 | Console and PC | Ultimate, PC Game Pass, Standard |
These platform and tier designations come from Xbox’s June 17, 2025 announcement. Xbox did not list the Warcraft games or Call of Duty: WWII for cloud gaming in that announcement.
What the “Warcraft Trilogy” includes
The headline’s trilogy consists of:
- Warcraft I: Remastered: A remastered version of the original 1994 real-time strategy game. Xbox highlighted updated art, widescreen support, modernized controls, UI improvements, music changes, and additional historical concept art.
- Warcraft II: Remastered: A remastered version of the 1995 strategy game, with new visuals and modernized controls.
- Warcraft III: Reforged: Listed under its official name, not as “Warcraft III: Remastered.” Xbox described a visual overhaul, campaign content, custom battles, modern social features, and multiplayer matchmaking.
All three were PC-only in this announcement and were listed for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Xbox did not present them as a separately named Warcraft Trilogy bundle. The term simply groups the three releases for convenience.

Which Call of Duty game was added?
The Call of Duty addition was Call of Duty: WWII, the 2017 game—not World at War, Modern Warfare III, or a new World War II-themed release.
Xbox listed it for console and PC, with access through Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Its campaign begins with the Normandy landings and follows the Allied advance across Europe.

Which subscribers benefited most?
- PC strategy fans: The Warcraft additions offered three historically important RTS games, but the announcement listed them only for PC Game Pass and Ultimate.
- Console players: Call of Duty: WWII was the major console-focused headline addition because Xbox listed it for console and PC.
- Standard subscribers: Standard included Call of Duty: WWII according to the announcement, but not the three Warcraft games.
- Cloud-focused players: Several other games in the wave supported cloud gaming, but Xbox did not list cloud access for the Warcraft titles or Call of Duty: WWII.
- Ownership-minded players: A Game Pass license is not permanent ownership. If a game leaves or the subscription ends, access can end; buying it separately may be preferable when a reader wants long-term access.
What this announcement does—and does not—tell you
The June 17 announcement confirms the 2025 arrival dates, listed platforms, broad descriptions, and named Game Pass tiers. It does not verify current availability in 2026, current subscription pricing, DLC inclusion, edition parity with Battle.net or retail releases, or cloud support beyond the platform labels shown by Xbox.
It is therefore accurate to say that Xbox announced these additions for June 2025. It is not accurate to treat the old “coming to Game Pass” wording as proof that all four games are still available now. For current access and pricing, use the official Game Pass page and the relevant Xbox or PC storefront.
