No Rest for the Wicked is an action RPG from Moon Studios, available now in Early Access on PC through Steam. The studio currently plans to launch version 1.0 in March 2027 and has announced a December 2026 open beta. The game combines Souls-like combat with exploration, loot and character builds, crafting, and homebuilding; Steam lists solo play and online co-op for up to four players.
When does No Rest for the Wicked come out?
The game is already playable in Steam Early Access, which began on April 18, 2024. Moon Studios’ September 1, 2026 announcement moved the planned 1.0 release from October 2026 to March 2027. The studio also said it planned an open beta for December 2026; that is an announced plan, not confirmation that the beta has taken place. Moon Studios’ September 1 delay announcement says the extra time will help improve performance, tighten the class system, and polish the game.
The game is unfinished and remains in active development. Moon Studios’ Early Access statement on Steam’s store page says its systems, features, and story continue to be developed, so schedules and game details may change.
What kind of game is No Rest for the Wicked?
Moon Studios describes it as an action RPG with Souls-like combat. You play a Cerim warrior amid the Pestilence on Isola Sacra, exploring a handcrafted world and fighting enemies and bosses. Steam’s current description also highlights weapons and armor, runes and enchantments, resource gathering, crafting meals, and owning and furnishing a home, with Sacrament serving as a central hub. These are publisher descriptions, not an independent assessment of how the game plays.

Does No Rest for the Wicked have co-op?
Yes. The current Steam listing says the game supports solo play and online co-op for up to four players. This reflects the current store description; co-op availability and details can change as the Early Access game is updated.
What are the classes in No Rest for the Wicked?
Moon Studios announced a new class system in its September 18, 2026 news listing. The preview describes 24 classes, more than 280 traits, six trait slots, and six factions. The studio said it planned to make all 24 classes playable in the December open beta. Is No Rest for the Wicked on PS5?
The material available here does not establish a current PS5 release date or confirm PS5 availability. Moon Studios’ current schedule announcement places version 1.0 in March 2027, but a release window alone does not establish which platforms will launch on that date. The currently documented playable release is the Steam Early Access PC version. Check official announcements for platform updates rather than treating an older platform announcement as a current launch commitment.
