Lies of P lets you assemble many standard weapons from a blade and a handle, while boss weapons are exceptions to that system. The blade and handle affect the resulting weapon, so a recommendation is often a particular combination rather than a fixed, indivisible weapon. If you prioritize speed and reliable hit confirms
Look for an attack rhythm you can land consistently, especially against mobile enemies. A faster weapon may make it easier to fit attacks into short openings, but speed does not automatically mean better damage or safety; reach and recovery still matter.
If you prioritize stagger pressure
Heavier, more committed attacks can reward good reads with meaningful pressure, but missed hits are expensive. Favor them when you can recognize a punish window and avoid treating stagger potential as a reason to swing through an enemy’s active attack.

Consider an elemental weapon when the encounter makes that specialization useful and your build supports it. If you are still assembling a weapon
