How Connections works

Connections presents 16 terms and asks you to sort them into four groups of four. The groups are color-coded from yellow, generally the easiest, through green and blue to purple, generally the hardest. Each incorrect submission uses a mistake; four mistakes end the game. You can play on the NYT website or in the NYT Games app.
