Sirene is the required boss at the end of the Sirene region. Travel to the Dancing Arena flag, go up the stairs and target the purple apparition at the arena’s edge—not the giant figure in the background. Sirene is weak to Dark and Ice, while Light and Earth are resisted. The encounter combines turn-based choices with real-time dodges, parries, counters and jumps.
Where to find Sirene
Sirene is the ninth mandatory boss and the second, more powerful Axon, according to Gamepressure. She is the final boss of the Sirene area. From the Dancing Arena flag, go up the stairs to reach the encounter. Defeating her is required to continue the story.

Sirene weaknesses and resistances
| Element or damage type | Matchup |
|---|---|
| Dark | Weak |
| Ice | Weak, as listed by Gamer Guides |
| Earth | Resistant |
| Light | Resistant |
| Physical | Neutral |
| Fire | Neutral |
| Lightning | Neutral |
| Void | Neutral |
Gamepressure independently lists Dark as a weakness and Light as a resistance; the additional Ice, Earth and neutral matchups are listed by Gamer Guides. Use Dark or Ice attacks when building your damage plan, and avoid relying on Light or Earth for primary damage.
What to prepare before the fight
Equip Anti-Charm Lumina
Charm is a recurring part of Sirene’s attack pattern. Gamepressure recommends the Anti-Charm Lumina, obtained by defeating Tisseur, to reduce the risk of losing control of your party during repeated charm sequences.

Bring Dark or Ice damage
Prioritize characters, weapons and skills that can exploit Dark or Ice weakness. Physical, Fire, Lightning and Void remain usable because they are listed as neutral, but they do not receive the same matchup advantage.
Practice real-time defenses
Bandai Namco describes Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 as turn-based combat enhanced by real-time actions, including dodging, parrying, counters and free-aim targeting. Sirene’s attacks require those inputs between your turn-based decisions, so keep enough action points and defensive options available to respond rather than spending every resource offensively.

How to survive Sirene’s attacks
The timing notes below come from Gamepressure’s guide, updated June 26, 2025. They are reported encounter advice, not an independently verified timing test, and may change in a future game update.
Widow’s Charm
A dancer approaches and releases three rhythmic bursts. Gamepressure describes the first two as delayed warning bursts and the third as the hit to parry. The sequence can sometimes repeat, so do not lower your guard after the first exchange. Anti-Charm Lumina is particularly valuable here.

Dancing with the Glissandos
Two Glissandos are thrown at the party. After the worms move back, prepare to parry twice. Treat the retreat as the cue to focus on defense rather than immediately selecting your next attack.
Seduction
When the world changes color, use a Gradient Counter, following Gamepressure’s recommended response. This is a counter timing check rather than a normal dodge.
Rank #4
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a ground-breaking turn-based RPG with unique real-time mechanics, making battles more immersive and addictive than ever.
- Explore a fantasy world inspired by Belle Époque France in which you battle devastating enemies.
Glissandos’ Earthquake
Jump over three ground-shaking attacks. Save your jump timing for the impacts instead of trying to block the area-wide tremors.
Furious Strike on the Ground
Sirene performs three delayed area punches. Gamepressure notes that these attacks lack distinctive sound or visual tells, so use spacing and intuitive dodge timing rather than waiting for a single clear signal.

Best Value
The Grand Ballet
Five dancers attack. The guide advises parrying after they stop at the lower-right side of the arena. The final dancer moves with a delay, so continue watching after the earlier parries instead of assuming the sequence has ended.
The Final Act
Near the end of the encounter, Sirene alternates earthquake and dancer attacks and finishes with a large pillar throw. Dodge the pillar, then keep attacking: Gamepressure reports that the arena darkens and curses the party, leaving four turns to defeat her. Save enough damage and action points to capitalize on that short window.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.A practical fight plan
- Enter with the correct target. Aim at the purple apparition at the arena’s edge, as recommended by Gamepressure, rather than the large background figure.
- Open with Dark or Ice damage. These are the listed weaknesses; avoid making Light or Earth your main offensive elements.
- Reserve attention for charm. Watch the dancer’s three-burst rhythm and parry the third burst. Anti-Charm Lumina helps when the sequence returns.
- React to each movement cue. Parry twice after the Glissandos retreat, use a Gradient Counter when the scene changes color, and jump the three earthquakes.
- Do not rush the dancer formations. During The Grand Ballet, wait for the lower-right stop and remember that the last dancer is delayed.
- Save burst resources for The Final Act. Once the curse starts, you reportedly have only four turns, so avoid entering that phase with an empty action-point or damage reserve.
Sirene rewards
Gamepressure lists the following rewards for defeating Sirene. These quantities come from that guide alone; Gamer Guides’ returned page did not show a populated battle-loot section.

| Currency | 7,050 Chroma |
