The Friendship Pot is a cooperative gear item in Grow a Garden: link it with a friend, place the linked pots in both gardens, and tend the other player’s plant each day to build a growth streak. The game’s community wiki reports a Gear Shop price of 15,000,000 Sheckles or 39 Robux, but that price and the mechanics below are not confirmed against the live game, so check the shop and in-game prompts before spending currency.
How to get and set up a Friendship Pot
- Buy a pot: Find the Friendship Pot in the Gear Shop. The Grow a Garden Wiki reports a price of 15,000,000 Sheckles or 39 Robux; availability and current pricing have not been verified in the live shop.
- Link it with a friend: The item page says gifting a pot gives both the giver and receiver a linked pot. The update log also describes purchasing a pot, linking it with a friend, and placing the pot in each player’s garden. Follow the prompts shown in-game, since the exact current linking flow is not independently confirmed.
- Place the linked pots: Each player should put their linked pot in their own garden. The feature is intended to connect the two players’ daily tending.
How the daily tending streak works
Take turns tending the other player’s plant
Each player needs to tend the plant in the other player’s pot daily; simply placing the item is not enough to maintain the shared streak. The item page describes a 24-hour interval and says the timer resets at 00:00 UTC. The update log says missing a day resets the streak. Because the precise timing rules have not been confirmed in-game, use the timer or prompt shown by the game rather than assuming a local-midnight cutoff.
What happens as the streak grows
The update log says the plant grows larger and better as the streak advances. The item page reports that a fully grown Friendship Pot applies the Friendbound mutation. It does not establish a reliable number of days to full growth or a numeric chance of getting the mutation, so neither a completion date nor guaranteed results can be promised.
Limits and details to check in the live game
- Placement cap: The community wiki reports a maximum of four linked pots in one garden, and says multiple pots linked to the same person cannot be placed there. Confirm these limits in-game if they affect your setup.
- Moving or removing: The item page says a pot can be moved or destroyed, but not picked up. Current behavior may differ, so check the available interaction options before removing one.
- Missed day and recovery: The update log says a missed day resets the streak. The item page reports that joining the friend and paying Robux may restore an ended streak, but does not specify the amount or a dependable restoration procedure. Treat any recovery offer as conditional and verify its cost and effect in the in-game prompt before accepting.
Is the Friendship Pot worth using?
It suits friends who can coordinate a daily visit and want to work toward a fully grown pot and its reported Friendbound mutation effect. Consider the reported purchase cost against that routine, and do not buy on the assumption of a guaranteed mutation or a known finish date. The available mechanics and prices come from community-maintained wiki pages, not a live official confirmation; check the current shop and item prompts in your game before committing.
