Standard includes only the base game; Deluxe adds the Bounty Pack Bundle and Firehawk’s Fury weapon skin; Super Deluxe adds those items plus the Vault Hunter Pack and Ornate Order Pack cosmetics. The Gilded Glory Pack was promoted with the game’s launch campaign, but the official pages reviewed do not establish that every current purchase still receives it, so verify eligibility on your platform’s live listing before buying.

These contents are listed by 2K on its official Borderlands 4 FAQ and purchase page. Individual packs may also be sold separately, with the base game required, so check the current store listing before purchasing a bundle or an add-on you may already own.

Which Borderlands 4 edition should you buy?
Choose Standard for the base game
Standard is the straightforward choice if you want the main Borderlands 4 experience and do not need the announced post-launch bundles or extra cosmetics. It is also the relevant SKU when you already plan to buy DLC separately later.
Choose Deluxe for the four Bounty Packs
Deluxe’s defining upgrade is the Bounty Pack Bundle. The bundle is separate from the base game and is intended for players who want its four post-launch content drops in one purchase. The Firehawk’s Fury weapon skin is an additional cosmetic, but the Bounty Packs—not the skin—are the substantive difference from Standard.

Choose Super Deluxe for new playable and story content
Super Deluxe is the tier for players who want the Vault Hunter Pack’s larger gameplay expansion: two new playable Vault Hunters, two story packs and two new regions, along with related missions, equipment and cosmetics. It also includes the Ornate Order Pack’s character cosmetics and everything in Deluxe.
What is in the Bounty Pack Bundle?
2K describes the Bounty Pack Bundle as four post-launch DLC packs. Its stated components include new areas, missions, bosses, Vault Cards, gear, weapons, Vault Hunter cosmetics and vehicles. The first pack, Come Rush Saved Mercenary Day, released on November 20, 2025, according to 2K and Gearbox’s PAX Australia recap. That release is past, not an upcoming preorder benefit. Confirm the release status and standalone availability of the other packs in your platform’s current store.

The Vault Hunter Pack contains two new playable Vault Hunters, two story packs and two map regions, plus new missions, gear and cosmetics. This is the major reason to move from Deluxe to Super Deluxe if you value additional playable characters and story content.
Ornate Order Pack
The Ornate Order Pack is cosmetic-focused: four Vault Hunter skins, four heads and four bodies. It does not add the new playable characters or story regions described for the Vault Hunter Pack.

What was the Gilded Glory Pack preorder bonus?
2K’s buy page lists the Gilded Glory Pack with four pieces of legendary gear, one Vault Hunter head, one Vault Hunter skin, one weapon skin and one ECHO-4 drone skin. The FAQ identifies the gear as:
- A level-1 Maliwan legendary SMG
- A level-30 Ripper legendary grenade
- A level-30 Torgue legendary artillery
- A max-level Daedalus legendary assault rifle
The official pages reviewed do not say that the pack remains preorder-only, nor do they confirm that all current buyers receive it. Because Borderlands 4 has launched, treat eligibility as a live entitlement question: open the exact platform and regional listing, read its current “included” or bonus-content terms, and contact the retailer or publisher if the SKU is ambiguous. Do not assume an older preorder description applies to a present-day purchase.

The FAQ lists Borderlands 4 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Its United States listing says physical Standard and Super Deluxe editions are available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. For other regions, it lists physical Standard, Deluxe and Super Deluxe editions on those consoles. Those are publisher-stated lineups, not guarantees of retailer inventory; check the local SKU before ordering.

The localized FAQ reviewed said Nintendo Switch 2 would arrive soon. That forward-looking wording does not establish availability on September 30, 2026, so confirm the current release status through an official listing before treating Switch 2 as a supported platform.

- Identify your platform, region and whether you are buying physical or digital.

- Shopping for a former preorder bonus: Verify Gilded Glory entitlement on the live store page for your platform and region.
