最初に行うこと：復元、Replace World、ワールド入れ替えの前に、現在のRealmワールドをダウンロードし、別のドライブやクラウドにも複製します。
まずBedrock版かJava版かを確認する
Realmsはエディションごとに別サービスです。Bedrock EditionはWindows、Xbox、PlayStation、Nintendo Switch、iOS、Android、Chromebookなど、Java EditionはWindows、macOS、Linuxが対象です。JavaとBedrockのRealmやワールドを、そのまま相互利用することはできません。詳細はMinecraft公式Realmsページを参照してください。
- 起動画面に「Java Edition」と表示されればJava版。
- コンソール、スマートフォン、Switch版は基本的にBedrock版。
- Windows PCは両方があるため、ランチャーまたは起動画面で確認する。
最も安全なバックアップ運用
- Realmの現在のワールドを端末へダウンロードする。
- 重要な節目ごとに新しいコピーを作り、日付・時刻・エディション・ゲームバージョン・保存理由を名前に付ける。
- 端末だけでなく外付けドライブやクラウドにも複製する。
- アップデート、大規模建築、ワールド交換、所有者変更、解約の前に必ず保存する。
Realm内の自動・手動保存はサービス上の復元用データであり、端末へダウンロードしたワールドとは別物です。ダウンロード後のプレイ内容はRealmへ自動反映されません。

Bedrock Editionでバックアップする
現在のワールドをダウンロード
- Minecraftを起動し、Playを選ぶ。
- Realmsタブから対象RealmのRealms Hubを開く。
- World、Slotsの順に進む。
- 保存したいワールドの三点メニュー、またはEdit Worldを選ぶ。
- Download Worldを選ぶ。
コピーは端末側のAll Worldsに追加され、Realm本体とは独立して扱えます。公式手順はBedrock版ワールドのダウンロード案内にあります。
特定時点の保存データをダウンロード
ワールド編集画面でDOWNLOAD WORLDは最新状態、BACKUPSは一覧から選んだ保存時点を意味します。新しいUIではRealms Hub → World → Savesなどの名称になる場合があります。表示名が違っても、保存一覧またはバックアップ一覧を開いて対象日時を選んでください。公式のワールド変更・バックアップ案内も確認できます。

手動保存を作成
- 対象Realmの保存・バックアップ管理画面を開く。
- Create Manual Saveまたは同等の保存項目を選ぶ。
- 完了表示を確認し、可能ならその保存も端末へダウンロードする。
復元画面では通常ManualとAutomaticを切り替えます。自動保存の作成時刻や保持数は、すべての環境で同一とは限りません。
Bedrock版のアップロード上限
Bedrock版の公式案内では、Realmsへのワールドアップロード上限は4GBです。これは圧縮ファイルの大きさではなく、Realms側が判定するワールドサイズです。詳細は公式アップロード案内を参照してください。

Bedrock Editionでバックアップから復元する
- Play → Realmsから対象Realmを選ぶ。
- Settings → Manage Realm → Savesを開く。
- ManualまたはAutomaticタブを選ぶ。
- 目的の保存データの三点メニューからRestore saveを選ぶ。
- 警告を読み、確認して実行する。
旧UIではRealm Hub → World → Saves → Manage savesに相当する経路になります。公式手順はBedrock版バックアップ復元ガイドで確認できます。
復元前チェックリスト
- 現在のRealmワールドをダウンロードする。
- 現在の状態を手動保存する。
- 保存日時とスロットが正しいか確認する。
- 参加者に、選択時点以降の進行が消えることを知らせる。
復元は破損箇所だけを直す操作ではありません。選択した時点へワールド全体を戻すため、その後の建築、アイテム、プレイヤー位置、進捗などが失われます。

復元後の確認
- 建築物、チェスト、所持品、プレイヤー位置を確認する。
- Realmがオンラインで、意図したスロットがアクティブか確認する。
- 問題があれば、復元前に保存したコピーをUpload WorldまたはReplace Worldで戻す。
Bedrock版のローカルコピーをRealmへ戻す
- Play → Realms → Realms Hub → Worlds → Slotsを開く。
- 空きスロットではCreate World、既存ワールドの交換ではEdit Worldを選ぶ。
- Game Settingsの下部にあるUpload WorldまたはReplace Worldを選ぶ。
- 端末上のワールドを指定し、上書き警告を確認する。
- 完了後、Realmへ接続してシード、建築、プレイヤー情報、設定を確認する。
既存ワールドを置き換える前に、必ず現在版を別名でダウンロードしてください。置き換え操作で既存の進行を失う可能性があります。
Bedrock版を別の端末へ移行する
送信元端末
- Minecraftを最新状態に更新し、同じMicrosoftアカウントでサインインする。
- Play → Realms → Settingsを開く。
- 使用するスロットでUpload WorldまたはReplace Worldを選び、送信元ワールドをアップロードする。
移行先端末
- 同じMicrosoftアカウントで最新のMinecraftへサインインする。
- Play → Realms → Settingsで対象スロットを開く。
- Edit World → Download Worldを選ぶ。
移行先では「World name – Copy」のような名前で表示されることがあります。公式手順はBedrock版の端末間移行ガイドを参照してください。Java版との移行ではなく、同じエディション内の移行です。

Java Editionでバックアップと復元を行う
バックアップを確認・ダウンロード
- Java Editionを起動し、Minecraft Realmsを選ぶ。
- 対象RealmのConfigureを開く。
- World Backupsで保存時点を確認する。
- 現在のワールドを端末へ保存するダウンロード項目と、バックアップ一覧から時点を選ぶ操作を区別する。
Java版の管理画面はBedrock版のRealms Hubとは異なります。ボタン名や配置はクライアントのバージョンで変わることがあるため、表示が異なる場合はConfigure内のWorld Backups、ワールドダウンロード、アップロード項目を探してください。詳細はJava版Realm管理ガイドにあります。
Java版の復元
- Minecraft Realms → 対象Realm → Configure → World Backupsを開く。
- 復元したい日時のバックアップを選ぶ。
- Restoreに相当する項目を選び、警告を確認して実行する。
- 再接続後、ワールドの内容を確認する。
復元前には、Bedrock版と同じく現在のRealmを先にダウンロードし、参加者へ停止を知らせます。Java版のローカルワールドをRealmへ戻す場合も、Configure画面のアップロードまたはワールド交換項目を使い、上書き前のコピーを残してください。
解約・期限切れの前に行うこと
公式Realmsページでは、サブスクリプション終了後もワールドを保持し、終了後18か月以内であれば端末へダウンロードできると説明されています。ただし、この期間を待つのではなく、契約終了前にダウンロードして自分で保管してください。サービス仕様、アカウント状態、保存期間は将来変更される可能性があります。
3つのワールドスロットはバックアップではない
Realmsでは最大3つのワールドを保存できますが、同時にプレイできるアクティブワールドは1つです。スロットは別世代のバックアップを自動管理する機能ではありません。世代管理には、日付を付けた端末コピーを複数残す方法が適しています。
トラブルシューティング
欲しい日時の保存が見つからない
- 正しいワールドスロットを開いているか確認する。
- ManualとAutomaticの両方を確認する。
- Realm所有者のMicrosoftアカウントでログインしているか確認する。
- UI変更で別の保存一覧を開いていないか確認する。
- 手元のダウンロード済みコピーがあれば、それを使って復元する。
間違ったワールドをReplace Worldした
- 現在の状態を別名でダウンロードする。
- Realmのバックアップ一覧を確認する。
- 置き換え前の保存があれば復元する。
- 事前にダウンロードしていた正しいワールドを再アップロードする。
アップロードできない
- Bedrock版の4GB上限を超えていないか確認する。
- 送信元とRealmのエディションが一致しているか確認する。
- Minecraftのバージョン、Microsoftアカウント、ネットワーク、スロットを確認する。
- 上書き操作になっていないか警告を読み直す。
友人が復元後のRealmに入れない
- Realmがオンラインで、意図したスロットがアクティブか確認する。
- 招待メンバーが削除されていないか確認する。
- 全員が同じエディションと互換性のあるクライアントを使っているか確認する。
- コンソールでは別途オンラインサービス契約が必要な場合がある。
The Bottom Line
覚えておくべき3点：復元やワールド交換の前に現在版をダウンロードする、重要な節目で手動保存と複数世代のローカル保存を併用する、解約前に端末へ取り出す。Bedrock版はSaves、Java版はConfigure → World Backupsが復元の入口です。
