How the daily game works

In Connections, select four related entries at a time until all 16 words are grouped. You can make up to four mistakes. The game is available through the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile, with a new puzzle appearing at midnight for your time zone. As TechRadar noted in its February 27, 2026 guide, that timing means players in different time zones may be solving different dated puzzles at the same moment.
