Start at EA Help. Choose the game or support topic that matches your problem, read the targeted guidance, then select Contact us if you still need an EA advisor. The contact method shown can vary by game, issue, platform, region, and advisor availability.
How to contact EA support
- Open EA Help.
- Select the affected game or the closest support category. EA’s categories include EA Account, security and rules, orders and rewards, technical issues, and platform support.
- Read the troubleshooting article for that specific selection. It may resolve account, purchase, connection, or platform problems without an advisor.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Contact us, or return to EA Help and use the contact flow.
- Sign in if EA requests your account details, then choose the contact option displayed for your issue. Keep the case information so you can follow up.
EA does not promise that every issue will offer a phone call or live chat. The available route may be an advisor conversation or another support option, and it can change with current demand and regional availability.
What to have ready before contacting an advisor
EA recommends preparing the following information. “Having this ready helps us understand your issue faster and reduces the need for follow-up questions.”
- Your EA ID or the email address on the account
- The platform you use, such as PlayStation, Xbox, PC, or another supported platform
- Your platform account ID, such as a gamertag or Online ID
- Proof of purchase for an order, subscription, or missing content problem
- The date and time the issue began
- A clear description of what happened and the troubleshooting steps you already tried
- Exact error messages, copied as written
- Relevant screenshots or video clips
Do not post passwords, payment-card numbers, security codes, or other sensitive account information in a public forum.

Which EA help route should you use?
| Route | Best for | Authentication | Likely speed | Privacy | Official case record |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Self-service article | Common account, purchase, connection, and platform fixes | May not require sign-in | Immediate if the instructions solve the problem | Private | No advisor case |
| Contact us / EA advisor | Account-specific problems, unresolved technical issues, orders, or matters needing an EA review | Sign-in may be required | Depends on the contact option and current advisor demand; no fixed response-time guarantee is published | Private account support | Yes, when EA opens a case |
| EA Forums | Public discussion of bugs, errors, and workarounds affecting multiple players | Forum account requirements may apply | Can be useful while waiting, but is not a guaranteed advisor response | Public | No private account case |
Use Contact us when an advisor must inspect your account, purchase, entitlement, or case history. Use the forums for public bug information, not for private credentials or payment details.

What to do when EA support is taking too long
EA’s games support page currently warns: “There are high wait times for EA Advisors right now.” While waiting, EA recommends using its tools for common EA Account issues, searching EA Help for a more specific article, and checking EA Forums for information about known bugs and errors.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

- Use the self-service steps if your issue matches a known account, purchase, connection, or platform problem.
- Search the EA Forums for public reports of the same error, but keep account-specific details in your private case.
- Keep your Case ID, Access Key, error text, and supporting files together so you can respond quickly if an advisor asks for more information.
When live chat or a phone number is not shown
EA may not display the same channels for every game or region. A missing chat or phone option does not necessarily mean your account is blocked; it can reflect the selected issue, platform, local availability, or current advisor capacity. Select the closest accurate category and rely on the options EA presents after Contact us rather than using an unofficial number found elsewhere.
