Roblox error codes do not all have the same cause. Some indicate a network or client problem, while others mean an experience ban, private-server restriction, creator-side fault, or Roblox service failure. This guide covers Roblox’s current player-facing support codes and additional codes documented in the Creator Hub. It was checked against Roblox Support and Creator Hub on August 18, 2026.
Roblox does not publish one permanent, consumer-facing list of every number it may display. Treat the source and wording of each code as important evidence.
Quick checks before changing anything
- Check the official Roblox Status page.
- Retry the experience, then try a different experience.
- Close Roblox and restart the device.
- Restart the router and test another network, such as a phone hotspot.
- Update Roblox and the operating system.
- Temporarily test whether a VPN, proxy, firewall, antivirus, or parental-control filter is interfering. Re-enable protection afterward.
- Reinstall Roblox only when a client or installation problem is plausible.
- For bans and permission errors, contact the experience creator or server owner instead of repeatedly reinstalling.
Roblox error-code reference
The first group below is listed by Roblox Support. Code names and additional values come from the Creator Hub ConnectionError enumeration; an engine label is not a complete end-user diagnosis.

Roblox also documents engine values including 541 (VIP owner absent), 542 (age verification required), 543 (parental approval required), 544 (core-gated), 601 (device block), 610 (custom message), 769 (teleport failure), 770 (game not found), 771 (game ended), 772 (game full), 774 (teleport flooded), and 775 (already teleporting). Their exact handling depends on the experience, account, destination, or platform; consult the canonical enumeration and the message shown in Roblox.

“Failed to Load Library”
This is not a numbered code. It generally indicates a missing, damaged, incompatible, or blocked Roblox component.
- Close Roblox and restart the device.
- Reinstall Roblox from the official website or app store.
- Check whether antivirus or other legitimate security software is blocking the client, using only temporary controlled testing.
Never download replacement DLLs or patched Roblox files from unofficial sites. Roblox lists this message with its error-code guidance: Roblox Error Codes.
Diagnose the owner of the problem
One experience or every experience?
- One experience: suspect a creator bug, server outage, ban, teleport destination, private server, or experience permission.
- Every experience: investigate Roblox services, the account, client installation, device, or network.
One network or every network?
- Only home Wi-Fi fails: investigate the router, DNS, ISP, firewall, filtering, or parental controls.
- Hotspot and other networks also fail: investigate the client, device, account, or Roblox service.
One device or several?
- One device: local installation, permissions, operating-system, or security-software issue is more likely.
- Several devices with the same account: account, experience permission, or service issue is more likely.
A green status page does not prove that a particular ISP, device, or experience is healthy. Roblox’s general guidance recommends alternate browsers and networks and notes that some problems can only be repaired by the experience creator: General Connection Problems.

Platform-specific fixes
Windows
Update or reinstall Roblox, check firewall and antivirus rules, and clear local data only when the official instructions call for it. For Error 268, Roblox instructs Windows users to uninstall Roblox first, open Command Prompt, and run:
cd AppDataLocal
rmdir /s RobloxConfirm the deletion, restart the computer, and reinstall from an official source. This removes the local Roblox folder; it is not an anti-ban command and must not be used to delete unrelated folders.
macOS
Restart the Mac, reinstall Roblox from the official source, review application and security permissions, and test another network. Windows commands do not apply.

iPhone and iPad
Force-close Roblox, restart the device, update or reinstall through the App Store, verify automatic date and time, and test another network.
Android and Amazon Fire
Force-stop Roblox, clear its app cache where the device provides that option, update or reinstall through the official store, restart, verify date and time, and test another network.

Xbox and PlayStation
Restart the console, update Roblox and the console software, check the console network service, restart the router, try another experience, and check Roblox Status. Do not run Windows cleanup commands on a console.

Use Roblox Support when the code is not listed, the official steps fail, or the problem persists across experiences and networks. Include:
- the number and exact wording;
- your username, never your password or authentication codes;
- device, operating-system version, and Roblox app or browser;
- the experience name and link, if relevant;
- whether one or every experience fails;
- whether another network works;
- the approximate date and time; and
- screenshots or video when useful.
What not to do
- Do not download DLLs, patched clients, registry cleaners, or unofficial Roblox utilities.
- Do not give credentials to a supposed support agent.
- Do not assume every kick is a Roblox-wide ban.
- Do not use a VPN as the default fix; it can add latency or trigger security checks.
- Do not permanently disable antivirus or delete unrelated system folders.
- Do not repeatedly reinstall for an experience ban, private-server restriction, age gate, or creator block.
The Bottom Line
Use the code, scope, and network tests together: connection codes usually call for network or service checks, while 267, 524, 600, and many 773 cases require permission, creator, or account action. Reinstall only when evidence points to the client.
