Yes—you can install Delta on an iPhone without a computer if you’re physically in the European Union, Japan, or Brazil, have an Apple Account set to one of those regions, and use iOS or iPadOS 18.0 or later. The no-computer method is AltStore PAL. If you don’t meet those requirements, AltStore Classic is another documented route, but it needs a Mac or Windows PC.
Check whether you can install Delta without a computer
AltStore PAL is the documented direct-install route. AltStore’s download instructions require all of the following:
- You are physically located in an EU country or region, Japan, or Brazil.
- Your Apple Account is set to an eligible region.
- Your iPhone or iPad runs iOS or iPadOS 18.0 or later.
- You use a supported browser and follow the current prompts on AltStore’s download page.
Apple confirms that alternative app distribution depends on both physical location and Apple Account region, and that features can vary by region. If AltStore says you are not eligible, check those two conditions and your software version rather than changing your device settings to misrepresent your location.
Install Delta through AltStore PAL on iPhone
Use the iPhone or iPad itself; AltStore PAL does not require AltServer. Follow the prompts on the official AltStore download page, since marketplace installation screens and availability can change.

- On your device, open AltStore’s download page in a supported browser and tap Download.
- When prompted, open Settings and approve AltStore LLC for marketplace installation.
- Return to the browser and tap Download again.
- Confirm Install App Marketplace when the prompt appears.
- Open AltStore PAL, find Delta in the marketplace, and install it.
If a prompt or setting label differs from these instructions, rely on the live official page and the on-device prompt rather than an older walkthrough.
Other ways to get Delta
AltStore Classic: a computer is required
Delta’s project installation instructions document installation through AltStore Classic. This is not a no-computer alternative: you install AltServer on a computer, connect your iPhone or iPad, install AltStore on the device, then select Delta in AltStore’s Browse section. AltStore lists AltServer support for macOS 11 or later and Windows 10 or later on its download page.

Classic installations need to be refreshed at least once every seven days to avoid expiring. AltStore can attempt automatic refreshes when the device and AltServer share Wi-Fi; you can also refresh manually in AltStore. If you want an installation that does not rely on that computer-based refresh routine, PAL is the documented option for eligible users.
Check your own App Store listing
Delta’s project documentation describes the app as an emulator for non-jailbroken iOS devices, but the sources cited here do not establish its current App Store availability in every country. Check the listing shown in your own App Store rather than assuming it is available or unavailable in a particular territory.

What to know about support, security, and updates
Apple says apps distributed through alternative marketplaces go through notarisation, a baseline review focused on security, privacy, and device integrity. Notarisation is not the full App Store review: Apple says alternative distribution does not receive the same review of business practices and content. Apple also advises users to contact the marketplace or app developer for support with apps distributed outside the App Store. If a marketplace is deleted or stops operating, you may no longer receive app updates, and app functionality could be affected. See Apple’s guidance on alternative app distribution.
Delta’s repository lists support for NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Genesis. It also documents save states and syncing for games, saves, states, cheats, skins, and mappings through Google Drive or Dropbox. Delta supports Bluetooth and wired controllers, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One S, Xbox Series X, and MFi controllers; controller support is optional, not an installation requirement.
