Complete 26 Fortnitemares quests to earn the Jack-A-Nape outfit, according to current secondary guides. In Fortnite, open the lobby’s Quests tab and choose Fortnitemares to see the available tasks and track your progress. The outfit is reported as a quest reward, not a direct cash or V-Bucks purchase. How to unlock Jack-A-Nape
- Launch Fortnite and open the Quests tab from the lobby.
- Select the Fortnitemares quest section.
- Review the currently available quests and the modes each one allows.
- Complete 26 eligible Fortnitemares quests, then check the in-game reward track for your progress and whether Jack-A-Nape has unlocked. The 26-quest threshold is reported by secondary guides; use the live game display to confirm your progress. [TechWiser, October 1, 2026] [Claimcodes.gg, October 1, 2026]
Which modes count toward the quests?
A current guide reports that eligible quests from Battle Royale, Horde Rush, and Reload can contribute to the same reward track. Epic confirms that Fortnitemares 2026 includes those modes, but its announcement does not specify the Jack-A-Nape threshold or which individual quests count. Check each live quest’s mode requirements rather than assuming every task is available or eligible. [Claimcodes.gg, October 1, 2026] [Epic Games, October 1, 2026]
Epic’s announcement also says Reload receives an updated Nitemare Island on October 8, 2026. That is event context, not confirmation that a particular Jack-A-Nape quest will be available in Reload on that date. [Epic Games, October 1, 2026]
What if all the quests are not available yet?
Quest content is reported to roll out over time, so the full set may not appear at once. Revisit the Fortnitemares section as new tasks become available and use the live list to choose among the modes you play. A guide also lists a loading screen, back bling, and pickaxe as intermediate reward-track cosmetics; check Fortnite’s in-game track for the current reward sequence. When does the Jack-A-Nape quest reward expire?
Epic’s October 1, 2026 Fortnitemares announcement describes an October event but does not state the outfit-specific deadline. Secondary guides do not provide a consistent cutoff, and the official page does not confirm whether Jack-A-Nape could return later. Check the event timer in Fortnite for the current closing time; do not rely on third-party countdowns for the final moment.
