What Xbox confirms about the collectibles
Xbox lists the achievement “Memories From E-Day” with the requirement: “Find all Collectibles in the Campaign (any difficulty).” The listing establishes the completion goal, but does not say whether collectibles persist across runs, whether completed acts can be selected again, or whether a later pickup updates the achievement. Can you replay an act and have a missed item count?
That behavior remains unverified. The Coalition’s July 31, 2026 gameplay update describes the campaign and its gameplay sandbox, but does not document act replay or collectible persistence. The official sources available for this question do not confirm that replay is available, or that a replay pickup advances the all-collectibles achievement.
Windows Central’s October 1, 2026 review-in-progress describes finding collectibles and browsing them through menus. It does not report testing chapter replay or whether items collected later count, so it cannot settle the question.

How to check safely in the game
- After finishing an act, inspect the Campaign menu for a chapter- or act-select option.
- Check the collectible tracker to see whether it identifies the item you missed and whether the game offers a way to revisit it.
- If replay is available, collect the item and check whether the tracker updates. Do not assume the achievement will update until the game confirms progress.
If the game does not show a clear replay option or updated collectible status, avoid restarting the campaign or overwriting a save on the assumption that either will recover the item. No verified alternative recovery method is established.
Why older Gears advice may not apply
Chapter-select behavior in another Gears game does not prove how E-Day handles replay or collectibles. Xbox describes E-Day as a new game, and its official information does not provide replay rules. Treat instructions for earlier entries as unconfirmed unless they are specifically verified in E-Day.
