WWE’s September 4, 2026 SmackDown highlight describes a tense backstage exchange that turns personal, but its description does not mention an earring. A separate report about the two discusses a match and a gum-spitting incident—not a broken earring.
What WWE’s SmackDown highlight says
WWE published a highlight dated September 4, 2026, titled “Paige hits Nikki Bella with ‘Hustle, Loyalty, Respect’ insult.” Its description identifies the footage as a tense backstage altercation between Paige and Nikki Bella that becomes personal. It does not say that an earring was broken or describe a reaction to one.
Why a separate match report does not verify the earring claim
A September 14, 2026 secondary wrestling-news report covers a different context: Paige’s match against Nikki Bella and an incident in which Paige spat gum at Bella. That report does not mention a broken earring, so it cannot establish that the earring incident happened.
What can be concluded
Based on these accounts, the claim that Paige broke Nikki Bella’s earring on SmackDown—and then reacted—is unverified. The sources describe a backstage verbal exchange and a separate match-related gum incident; they do not establish an earring being broken. The claim could refer to another clip or event, but that connection is not established here. Confirming it would require the specific footage or a direct, attributable account from someone involved.
