In October 2022, an Eurasian Economic Commission filing reported by VideoCardz and KitGuru listed five planned Gigabyte Arc A-series cards: four Arc A380s and one Arc A310.
What “first big partner” means
Gigabyte’s arrival mattered because the company was already a recognized graphics-card maker for AMD Radeon and Nvidia GeForce. Its move brought another mainstream retail name to Intel’s first-generation Arc Alchemist desktop cards. The evidence supports calling Gigabyte an early major partner—not Intel’s first custom-card partner: Gunnir and ASRock were already selling custom Arc cards to DIY buyers, while MSI’s A300-series cards were reportedly confined to prebuilt systems.
The October 2022 filing was the first confirmation of Gigabyte’s plans described in the contemporary reports. It listed five products, all from the entry-level A-series: A380 and A310 models. No Gigabyte A700-series card appeared in the filing. VideoCardz noted that Gigabyte used the “GV-I” prefix for Intel Arc, distinct from “GV-R” for Radeon and “GV-N” for GeForce. VideoCardz’s report on the filing and KitGuru’s October 18, 2022 report identified the cards.
Gigabyte’s five reported Arc models
The reported lineup paired two cooler families—Gaming and WindForce—with OC and non-OC versions of the A380. The fifth model was a WindForce A310. The codes below are the model numbers listed by KitGuru.

How the 2022 launch compares with Intel’s later B-Series cards
Gigabyte’s reported cards belonged to Intel’s first-generation Arc A-series. Intel’s later Arc B-Series used Xe2 architecture and launched with different partner-card announcements; Intel named Acer, ASRock, GUNNIR, ONIX, MAXSUN, and Sparkle as B-Series add-in-board partners. Gigabyte was not among the partners named in that announcement.
