That specific like and the event details have not been independently confirmed, however, and a social-media interaction alone would not establish intent. The clearest public statement on reconciliation remains Brooklyn’s January 2026 declaration: “I do not want to reconcile with my family.”
What is known about the reported social-media like?
A headline-matching report says David Beckham liked a video of Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz at a Messika showcase during Paris Fashion Week. The report’s page could not be accessed, so the like, event details and date are not independently verified. The report also does not establish that any interaction was intended to signal reconciliation.
The claim that Brooklyn “snubbed” a family event is similarly unconfirmed: the available reporting does not identify which event he allegedly missed, whether he was invited, or whether he intentionally declined. Without those details, absence cannot be presented as a deliberate slight.
What have Brooklyn and David Beckham said?
Brooklyn’s January 2026 statement
In a public statement in January 2026, Brooklyn said, “I do not want to reconcile with my family.” The Associated Press reported that the statement included allegations about his parents and conflict surrounding his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz. Those are Brooklyn’s claims, not independently established facts. The Associated Press report summarizes his statement and the surrounding dispute.

David’s remarks at Davos
After Brooklyn’s post, David Beckham spoke at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The Associated Press and The Guardian reported that he did not directly address the family dispute in those remarks. In a CNBC appearance, David said, “Children are allowed to make mistakes. That’s how they learn.” It was a general comment about children and social media, not a public confirmation of reconciliation talks. The Guardian’s account gives the context for the remark.
What have Victoria Beckham and Marc Anthony added?
In April 2026, Victoria Beckham spoke generally about her children, saying the family had always loved them and tried to protect them. El País reported her comments from an interview with The Wall Street Journal. The remarks did not confirm that reconciliation discussions were underway. El País’s report also notes that Marc Anthony disputed accounts of the wedding dance, saying the reports were not the truth as he knew it. That response adds a competing account; it does not resolve the family’s private disagreements.

Is reconciliation underway?
There is no confirmed public evidence in these reports that David and Brooklyn have reconciled or begun reconciliation talks. Brooklyn’s stated position was that he did not want to reconcile; David’s later comments did not directly address that position, and Victoria’s comments were general. The alleged like remains unverified and, even if confirmed, would not by itself show what either person intends. The public record establishes a family dispute and differing public statements, not its private status now.
