The fully modular, ATX 3.1 PSUs use an L-shaped layout intended for dual-chamber cases; the lineup spans 850W to 1350W. The ADV hub adds temperature monitoring and protective actions, including GPU power-cable thermal tracking.
What did LIAN LI announce?
The October 2, 2026 announcement covers four products: Edge Platinum V2 PSUs at 1000W, 1200W and 1350W; Edge Gold V2 PSUs at 850W and 1000W; and the Edge Hub ADV and Edge Hub V2. What is the difference between Edge Platinum V2 and Edge Gold V2?
The clearest differences in the announcement are the available wattages, stated certification tiers, Platinum V2’s dust-filter features, and the 1350W model’s shortened cables. Both families share the L-shaped design, a 120 mm FDB fan, a zero-RPM mode switch, a 10-year warranty and the same listed protection set: OCP, OVP, OTP, OPP, SCP, UVP, SIP and NLP.

Does the Edge Platinum V2 fit a dual-chamber case?
LIAN LI says the L-shaped PSUs are intended for dual-chamber cases and that the connector orientation points outward, helping keep cable runs out of the main chamber. That is a design aim, not a guarantee of fit in every case. The listed PSU dimensions are 182 × 86 × 150 mm for Edge V2 wattages, so check the specific case’s PSU bay, mounting arrangement, nearby components and cable clearance before buying. ATX 3.1 alone does not confirm that a particular case layout can accommodate the unit or its cable routing.
What does the Edge Hub ADV monitor?
Both Edge hubs are intended to expand internal USB and fan connectivity. The ADV model adds monitoring and response features: its published specification lists six fan headers, USB connectivity, temperature sensing for GPU1, GPU2 and ambient conditions, and GPU power-cable thermal tracking. Through L-Connect 3 it supports per-port bandwidth monitoring, telemetry, alerts for data loss and high temperatures, and automated system shutdown. LIAN LI says the ADV is designed to work with any ATX 3.1 PSU.

The ADV can be powered through an Edge Series PSU connector or a PCIe 8-pin cable. It supports backward compatibility through a USB 2.0 9-pin fallback and has a listed two-year warranty. These are manufacturer-stated capabilities; the announcement does not provide independent validation of monitoring accuracy or shutdown behavior.

Which Edge V2 should you consider?
- Choose by required output first: the announced Platinum options are 1000W, 1200W and 1350W; Gold options are 850W and 1000W. The announcement does not establish which wattage a particular PC needs.
- Check the case before the PSU tier: confirm the L-shaped unit’s dimensions, connector orientation and cable clearance in the intended dual-chamber layout.
- Consider Platinum V2’s extra dust features: it adds a magnetic filter and 360-hour cleaning reminder; the announcement does not list those features for Gold V2.
- Consider ADV only if its monitoring is useful: it adds temperature and GPU power-cable tracking, alerts and automated shutdown beyond the hubs’ shared expansion purpose.
