What’s in Battlefield 6 update 1.000.033?
No confirmed changelog for version 1.000.033 was available in MP1st’s October 2 report. That means specific bug fixes, stability improvements, or other changes cannot be attributed to this patch from the information reported.
The report said the version was available at least on PS5. It did not confirm availability on Xbox or PC, so the report should not be read as proof of a complete cross-platform rollout.
What did DICE say about matchmaking and the joining error?
MP1st reproduced a developer statement warning that players might encounter more familiar faces in consecutive matches, particularly in official playlists that share the same map and mode rotation:

The same report reproduced a separate developer statement about a small error message shown at the bottom right of the screen when joining a match. The developers said gameplay and matchmaking remained unaffected while they worked on a fix:

These communications provide context for players, but they do not establish that update 1.000.033 changed matchmaking or fixed the joining message. MP1st attributed both statements to the developers collectively, without naming an individual speaker.

How does this differ from Battlefield 6 update 1.4.3.5?
EA’s official notes for update 1.4.3.5 describe a separate, preceding quality-of-life update. EA published those notes on September 28, 2026, and announced that update’s download availability across platforms for 08:00 UTC on September 30. The notes cover menus, the HUD, social features, game modes, maps, AI behavior, and stability; they are not patch notes for version 1.000.033.
Keep the two version labels distinct: 1.4.3.5 is the update covered by EA’s September notes, while 1.000.033 is the follow-up version reported on October 2. The known contents of the earlier update cannot be used to fill in the missing changelog for the later one.
