Yes. The physical Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension bundle includes the game and Mega Dimension DLC on one game card. The Pokémon Company announced the bundle for October 29, 2026; as of October 3, 2026, that release date is still in the future. The card claim covers the base game and DLC, not necessarily every update the game may receive.
What comes on the game card?
The Pokémon Company says the physical bundle contains Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and the Mega Dimension DLC on one game card. The company also says the bundle has the same game content as buying the two items separately. That confirms the game-and-DLC format, but does not establish whether updates released later will require downloads.
The bundle is scheduled to launch October 29, 2026, according to The Pokémon Company’s September 30, 2026 announcement and Nintendo’s U.S. product page. Neither source establishes current retailer stock or a price comparison with buying the game and DLC separately.
What Mega Dimension adds—and when you can play it
Mega Dimension is an additional story that takes place in Hyperspace Lumiose after the main game. Nintendo states that players must finish the main story of Pokémon Legends: Z-A before continuing into the DLC’s story. Its characters include Hoopa, Ansha, Korrina, and Team MZ; the DLC also introduces gathering Berries and making donuts for useful effects, plus Holo-X and Holo-Y outfit items. See Nintendo’s DLC description.

What the Switch 2 Edition changes
Nintendo describes the Switch 2 Edition as offering improved performance, frame rate, and resolution. Those enhancements require a Nintendo Switch 2. On an original Switch, the game runs as the Nintendo Switch version without the Switch 2-specific features.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A is set in Lumiose City, where players choose Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile as a first partner, catch and train Pokémon, and take part in real-time battles. The Z-A Royale gives Trainer battles a rank-climbing structure, while the Z-A Battle Club supports up to three other players locally or online. Mega Evolution is central to the game. Nintendo lists play for up to four players across single-system, local wireless, or online modes on its product page.
