The company says studios can receive an upfront payment by licensing the future revenue rights to selected install-week cohorts; Leus collects the sold cohorts’ revenue until they reach saturation. Leus calls the model the “world’s first,” but the available launch coverage does not independently establish that no comparable service exists.
What Leus means by cohort purchasing
Leus defines a cohort as the installs for one app during one week. Its product page says it measures how much revenue a cohort has generated, forecasts remaining revenue week by week up to saturation, then prices that future revenue in today’s money with adjustments for forecast risk and timing. The studio can choose which cohorts to sell, rather than transferring all future game revenue.
The distinction matters: Leus describes the transaction as a licence of selected cohort revenue rights, not a loan or an advance tied to advertising spend. Its co-founder and managing director, Halil Özdemir, put the launch rationale this way in PocketGamer.biz’s October 1, 2026 report: “If a cohort has a measurable future economic value, why should the founder need to borrow against it? Why not simply sell it?” The actual rights transferred depend on the signed agreement.
How the proposed transaction works
Forecasting and cohort selection
Leus says it forecasts each cohort’s remaining revenue to saturation and lets a studio select cohorts once they are sufficiently mature to price. The newest installs may be too volatile: according to PocketGamer.biz, Leus says it can evaluate unsaturated cohorts as early as day seven and that the very newest cohorts are priced the following week, after installs have stopped. The same report says Leus uses historical cohort data and back-test forecasting, with predictions extending up to 52 weeks. These are Leus’s claims as reported at launch, not independently verified performance figures.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Leus’s product page also claims “98% forecast accuracy on mature cohorts.” The public material cited here does not give a definition of accuracy, sample size, methodology, or independent audit, so that figure should be treated as a vendor-reported claim rather than a guarantee for a particular game or cohort.
Published workflow
- Sign a non-disclosure agreement with Leus.
- Connect read-only mobile measurement partner (MMP) and store reports.
- Receive an eligibility report, then validate company and owner information.
- Submit financial information and choose which cohorts to offer.
- Review the proposed price, sign the agreement, and receive the transfer.
Leus describes this as a two-day process on its product page. That is the provider’s description, not an independently measured service commitment. Its public materials do not establish a complete eligibility list for countries, stores, or studio profiles.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Who receives the money and who carries the risk
In Leus’s published description, app stores continue paying the studio as usual. The studio then passes through revenue from the sold cohorts to Leus weekly. Leus says it bears the risk if those cohorts underperform the forecast, if store payments are late, or if the game is removed from a store. It identifies fraud or breach of agreement as exceptions.
Leus says the studio retains its game, intellectual property, store accounts, operations, and cap table. When a sold cohort reaches saturation, later earnings from it return to the studio. These statements describe Leus’s account of the structure; the agreement determines the actual licence, payment obligations, risk allocation, exceptions, and what “saturation” means. The public material cited here does not provide the full contract, governing law, eligible jurisdictions, fee schedule, or cohort-level transfer terms.

How to assess an offer
Leus’s pricing is intended to exchange a stream of forecast future receipts for cash today. Mobidictum’s October 1, 2026 launch article frames the trade-off as whether a studio would prefer “$150K over the next 52 weeks or $140K today.” Its example assumes a $100K user-acquisition spend is forecast to produce $150K by week 52, with a possible $140K upfront offer. Those amounts are illustrative, not published Leus pricing, market averages, or proof of completed transactions.
- Compare the cash now with the wait. Estimate the cohort revenue you would retain by keeping the rights, and consider when it is expected to arrive.
- Examine the valuation and forecast risk. Cohort maturity, uncertainty in the remaining-revenue estimate, and the value of receiving money earlier all affect the trade.
- Read the rights and duration closely. Identify exactly which cohort revenue is licensed, when the licence ends, and how the agreement defines saturation.
- Map the risk allocation to the contract. Check how shortfalls, delayed store payments, removal from a store, fraud, and alleged breaches are treated in the signed terms.
- Confirm operational eligibility. Ask whether your MMP, store reporting, jurisdiction, company, and ownership documentation meet Leus’s current requirements.
What the launch material does—and does not—establish
Leus’s product page is the primary source for the stated mechanics, workflow, risk allocation, and its accuracy claim. Its partners page lists Adjust as an official module and strategy partner and AppsFlyer as an analytics partner; it also names Adapty, Potensus, Fal, and MWC ecosystem offers. The product page says cohort assessment uses MMP and store reports. These listings do not establish that any named partner is required or suitable for every studio.

The October 2026 launch coverage establishes what Leus says it offers, not independent adoption, realized transaction results, or forecast accuracy. The “world’s first” description remains Leus’s positioning rather than a verified market-wide finding. Studios considering a sale should rely on the terms offered to them, not assume that public launch descriptions settle contractual details.
