You can run a continuous Hanuman bhajan stream on YouTube with an encoder feed from a computer or a cloud service that loops uploaded recordings. Before you build the stream, enable live streaming on your channel, confirm that you have the necessary rights to every song and recording, and decide how you will monitor the feed and preserve a complete archive.
Choose what your stream will broadcast
Decide whether the program will be a live performance or a playlist of prerecorded bhajans. YouTube supports encoder-based live feeds for either kind of program. A playlist can run continuously, but using a recording is not a substitute for permission to broadcast it.
- Live performance: Send the camera and audio feed through an encoder. Check the rights for any songs, arrangements, backing tracks, and recordings used in the performance.
- Prerecorded playlist: Prepare the videos you want to play in sequence or loop. Confirm the rights for each composition and recording before uploading or streaming it.
YouTube’s encoder guidance names OBS as free streaming software and also lists Gyre as a cloud service for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded videos. These are examples of different approaches, not a YouTube endorsement or a comparison of their cost or reliability. See YouTube’s encoder setup guidance.
Clear the rights to every bhajan and recording
YouTube’s livestream terms put responsibility on the creator to have the necessary worldwide rights for live content, including music licensing rights. A bhajan being devotional, traditional, or freely available online does not by itself establish that a particular recording or arrangement is cleared. Rights may apply separately to the composition, arrangement, performance, and sound recording. The rights required depend on the material and applicable jurisdiction, so do not assume that permission for one element covers all the others. Read YouTube’s livestream terms and resolve permissions with the relevant rights holders.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content matches. A match can result in a warning, a placeholder replacing the stream, or interruption or termination. Even if you have a licence, the rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube Help says: “If your channel isn’t added to their allowlist, your live stream can be interrupted even if you’ve licensed the content.” Confirm any allowlisting requirements before going live, and monitor the Live Control Room during the broadcast. Details are in YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.
Enable live streaming before launch day
- Verify your YouTube channel and check that it has no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. That is YouTube’s stated eligibility condition, not a guarantee that a restriction will expire automatically. See Get started with live streaming.
- Enable live streaming in YouTube Studio. YouTube says first-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so do this well ahead of your planned start.
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream. Choose the encoder option to obtain the stream URL and stream key.
- Enter those credentials in your encoder or cloud streaming service. Treat the stream key like a password: it authorizes a service to send video to your channel, so do not publish or share it.
For the current setup flow, see Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
Choose a computer or cloud feed
Run an encoder on a computer
Install encoder software such as OBS on a computer, add your video or live inputs, and connect it to YouTube with the stream URL and key. This method gives you control over the local playback and encoding setup, but the computer and its internet connection must remain available for the feed to continue. A dedicated computer is optional; YouTube’s encoder guide does not require a particular hardware product.

Use a cloud service for prerecorded videos
A cloud service designed for continuous prerecorded-video streaming can play uploaded videos without relying on a home computer staying on. Check its current terms and capabilities, including supported formats, recovery behavior, storage, monitoring, and pricing; YouTube’s documentation does not establish comparative cost or uptime for third-party services.
Decide based on the job you need done
- For a live performance, make sure your chosen encoder path can receive the live camera and audio inputs you need.
- For a prerecorded playlist, confirm that the service can loop or sequence your uploads as intended.
- For either method, plan who will check stream health, handle interruptions, review chat, and respond to copyright notices. Continuous playback is not the same as unattended oversight.
Set output quality and protect stream stability
Choose resolution and frame rate based on the source material, encoder, and reliable upload capacity. YouTube’s recommended bitrates vary by codec and output. As H.264 examples, its settings guidance recommends 6 Mbps for 720p at 30 fps and 10 Mbps for 1080p at 30 fps; neither figure is a universal setting for every resolution, frame rate, or codec. Check YouTube’s encoder settings and bitrate recommendations for your chosen output.
- Protocol: YouTube’s general encoder guidance includes RTMP or RTMPS.
- Rate control: Use CBR (constant bitrate) as specified in YouTube’s generic guidance.
- Audio: AAC or MP3 are included in YouTube’s general encoder guidance. Check your encoder’s available settings and test that the bhajan audio is clear and balanced.
- Keyframes: YouTube recommends a two-second keyframe interval in its general encoder guidance.
- Upload headroom: YouTube recommends keeping upload bandwidth about 20% above the stream’s total bitrate. If you configure primary and backup ingestion, allow for both streams plus that margin.
These are starting points from YouTube, not a guarantee of stability on a particular connection. Test before launch and use the Live Control Room’s stream-health indicators. See YouTube’s streaming tips.

Test, start, and monitor the broadcast
- Send a test feed before the public launch. Confirm the encoder connects and that YouTube reports a healthy stream.
- Check the video and audio on the watch page using both a phone and a computer. Listen for silence, clipping, unexpected pauses, or mismatched audio and video.
- Preview the playlist order and loop point, if using prerecorded videos. Check that transitions do not leave long unintended gaps.
- Start the stream from the encoder and follow the Live Control Room for stream health and copyright notices. Arrange for someone to check the feed and chat regularly.
- Keep a response plan for dropped connections, encoder or service interruptions, and copyright warnings. If a rights holder requires allowlisting, settle that before the event rather than waiting for a match.
Plan the archive separately from the 24/7 feed
YouTube’s encoder setup guide says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. A single continuous 24-hour broadcast is longer than that documented duration, so do not rely on YouTube to provide one complete replay of the entire run. If a full archive matters, make a separate recording or archive plan and confirm the current behavior in YouTube Studio. The same guide is at Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.

The stream is unstable or drops
Check stream health and upload capacity. Reduce output demands if the connection cannot sustain the selected bitrate, and preserve the recommended 20% upload headroom. For backup ingestion, account for the bitrate of both feeds.
The stream is replaced or interrupted after a copyright match
Review the Live Control Room notice, verify the rights for the matched material, and contact the relevant rights holder about licensing and Content ID allowlisting. A licence alone may not prevent interruption if the channel is not allowlisted.
The replay does not cover the full continuous broadcast
YouTube documents automatic archiving for streams under 12 hours, not a complete replay of a longer continuous run. Use a separate recording plan when a full archive is required.

Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for keeping a channel live from uploaded videos: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops the feed in the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. Any quality up to 4K 60fps streams as uploaded at one flat price per slot; it does not re-encode or use quality tiers. It also automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. The same product is on every plan; only the billing length changes. Each slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB of storage per slot pooled across active slots, looping and playlists, automatic recovery, and StreamNeo team support. Check that your recordings are rights-cleared before uploading; cloud playback does not grant music rights.
Start with the free StreamNeo day if a cloud loop fits your setup.
