Choose a format: separate lesson events or one continuous feed
Decide first whether the channel is hosting classes with distinct start times or offering an always-available sequence of recorded or continuously encoded lessons. That determines whether each lesson should have its own scheduled event or whether Hindi and English blocks should rotate through one persistent destination.

Set the schedule using channel analytics and viewer feedback rather than assuming a best hour. Publish times in UTC and include local time labels for the main audience, whether that is in India, the diaspora, or a wider international group.
Check YouTube eligibility and prepare the lessons
Confirm live streaming is enabled
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days to enable live streaming. Plan the language rotation
Make Hindi and English blocks easy to identify in the schedule, event title, and on-screen transitions. A transition card should show the language, lesson subject, level, and next start time. This is a programming recommendation, not a YouTube requirement. Keep the timetable clear enough that a learner arriving midstream can tell what is playing and when the language changes.
Clear rights before scheduling
Use recordings and music the channel owns or has permission to use in both live and archived broadcasts. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches; unresolved matches can cause a temporary placeholder, interruption, or termination. A third-party rights holder may need to allowlist the channel in Content ID. YouTube’s live-stream terms make the channel responsible for having the rights needed for live and archived use. Schedule and start a lesson in YouTube Studio
- Open the scheduling screen. In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live → Manage → Schedule Stream.
- Set up the event. Reuse prior settings or create a new stream, then enter the title, description, visibility, and scheduled time. Check the time zone before publishing.
- Share the event page. The scheduled stream creates an upcoming page that viewers can share and use to set a reminder.
- Connect the encoder. Copy the stream URL and stream key from YouTube into the encoder’s corresponding fields. Treat the key like a password: anyone with it may be able to send video to the channel’s stream.
- Check the preview. Wait for the incoming video to appear in Live Control Room and verify the lesson, audio, and language card before going live.
- Start the broadcast. Start the encoder output and then start the broadcast in Live Control Room. Confirm the public event is live before leaving the control screen.

Run a repeating 24/7 Hindi-English timetable
For a continuous channel, write down the repeating sequence before configuring it. For example, a schedule might alternate a Hindi lesson block and an English lesson block, with a visible transition between them. The exact block lengths and start times should follow the audience’s needs; the available platform guidance does not establish a universally best timetable.

Use scheduled broadcasts with a shared stream resource
For API-based scheduling, Google documents a pattern with one Live Stream resource carrying delivery settings and multiple scheduled Broadcast resources bound to it. Only one broadcast event is live at a time in this documented pattern. This is a way to organize scheduled events, not a guarantee that the channel’s transitions, encoder, or content will run without operational monitoring. Decide whether language changes need separate events
A single continuous feed keeps one destination but makes language changes part of the same stream. Separate Hindi and English events create distinct event pages and archives, but viewers must move between destinations and the operator must manage separate schedules. If learners need to choose a language independently at any moment, evaluate separate language-specific events or feeds; the cited YouTube documentation does not establish that these provide the same simultaneous experience as two caption tracks on one stream.

Plan captions for Hindi and English learners
YouTube’s current live caption guidance says one caption track is supported per stream entry point. Although the 608/708 standard supports multiple language tracks, YouTube’s current wording says it supports only one track of captions. Captions must be sent to YouTube, either embedded or through a supported delivery workflow. Review YouTube’s live caption requirements and test the actual workflow before promising dual-language captions.
For a single feed, assess whether captions should follow the language of the current lesson or whether a different arrangement is needed. Alternating caption language by segment and using separate language-specific events or feeds are options to evaluate, not documented guarantees of a simultaneous two-language caption experience.

Protect archives and keep a backup
YouTube says a live stream under 12 hours can be automatically archived. If a stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all. If retaining a complete archive matters, keep each archive-worthy broadcast below 12 hours, schedule handoffs as needed, and preserve a local recording backup. A 24/7 program therefore needs an explicit archive plan: decide which lesson blocks must be available afterward, how event boundaries will be handled, and who checks that a recording was saved. Do not treat one uninterrupted day-long feed as a dependable way to create complete lesson archives.
Keep the stream running: DIY or cloud operation
An encoder-based setup requires an active source that sends video to YouTube, plus someone or something to manage lesson transitions, verify the preview, and respond if the feed stops. For a continuous feed, include monitoring, recovery, and archive checks in the operating plan. A cloud service is an alternative if you want uploaded lessons to continue streaming without keeping a local computer and connection running.

- The channel cannot go live: Check that the channel is verified and has not had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days.
- The scheduled event is not receiving video: Confirm the encoder uses the stream URL and key from the intended event, then wait for the Live Control Room preview before starting the broadcast.
- The wrong lesson or language is playing: Check the playlist order and transition card, and verify the next block before leaving the stream unattended.
- The archive is missing or incomplete: Check the broadcast duration. Streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured; retain a local recording when archive completeness matters.
- A stream is interrupted after a content match: Review the recording and any music or third-party material for rights issues. Use content cleared for live and archived use, and contact the rights holder about allowlisting where appropriate.
- Learners cannot select both caption languages: YouTube currently supports one live caption track per stream entry point. Verify a tested caption workflow or reconsider whether separate language-specific events better serve the audience.
Review vendor limits before choosing a scheduler
OneStream Live’s help page states that its 24/7 YouTube feature requires an Enterprise plan, supports scheduling prerecorded videos, and caps a broadcast at 30 days. These are provider-specific terms, not YouTube guarantees; verify the current plan, duration, rights process, and recovery behavior directly with the provider before relying on them. This does not change the YouTube scheduling and archive constraints described above.
