You can run multiple YouTube livestreams by creating each broadcast separately in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, then assigning each replay to the playlist you want. A playlist organizes videos; it does not create or separate live broadcasts. For concurrent feeds, YouTube’s documented caps are 10 active streams per channel and 3 per stream key, and both limits apply at once.
First decide whether the streams are concurrent or scheduled at different times
Separate feeds running at the same time
Create a separate broadcast for each feed in Live Control Room and configure the intended source for each one. If you use an encoder, select the relevant YouTube stream key for each feed. Keep both concurrency limits in view: YouTube documents a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key. A channel with capacity remaining can still hit the per-key cap.
Separate events at different times
Schedule each event individually in Live Control Room. Scheduling makes an upcoming stream available for viewers to find and can let them opt in to reminders. Streams that do not overlap do not require you to operate multiple feeds simultaneously, but each event still needs its own broadcast setup.
Check eligibility in India
General live-stream eligibility
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions during the previous 90 days. The stated minimum age to live stream is 16. These are general live-stream requirements; the mobile subscriber threshold below is specific to mobile streaming.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Additional requirements for mobile streaming
YouTube’s mobile live-stream instructions list at least 50 subscribers, channel verification, no live-streaming restrictions during the previous 90 days, and live streaming enabled. India is included in the page’s availability context. First-time activation may take up to 24 hours, so enable the feature ahead of an event rather than waiting until broadcast time.
Create each broadcast and set up its source
- Open YouTube Studio and go to Live Control Room. Use Manage to schedule a stream or create one for the planned broadcast. Reuse settings when appropriate, but confirm the title, audience, visibility, and other event details for each separate feed.
- Choose the production method for each feed. YouTube supports mobile, webcam, and encoder workflows. A webcam is optional, not a requirement for creating separate streams or playlists.
- For encoder broadcasts, copy the server URL and the intended stream key into the encoder. A stream key is a credential: YouTube describes it as the stream’s password and address. Do not include it in public notes, screenshots, or messages visible to viewers.
- Check active-stream counts before going live. Count all active broadcasts on the channel and the streams assigned to each key. Stay within both documented limits—10 active streams per channel and 3 per stream key.
- For scheduled broadcasts, verify the upcoming stream listing. Check that the event appears as expected and that viewers can access it to set a reminder where that option is available.
Create playlists for the series, then sort the replays into them
Create and name the intended playlists before the event series begins. Choose names that distinguish the audience or subject—for example, separate game titles, tournaments, or recurring shows—rather than relying on the livestream title alone. A playlist is an organizational tool for videos, including completed livestream archives; it does not act as a separate live channel.

- After a broadcast, open YouTube Studio’s Content > Live. Find the replay for the completed stream.
- Open the video’s details and add it to the appropriate playlist. Match the archive to the playlist for that event or series.
- Review playlist visibility and ordering. Check that the playlist’s visibility suits its intended audience and arrange videos in the order you want viewers to watch them.
- Verify the replay exists before relying on it. Add it to the playlist only after confirming that the archive is available.
Protect long-stream recordings
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived. Streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured, so make a local recording as a backup if you need a dependable replay. Check the archive after the event; a playlist cannot restore a stream that was not captured.
Troubleshoot common problems
- A second feed will not start: Check both the channel-wide and per-key active-stream counts. YouTube’s documented limits apply simultaneously, so reduce the active count or use an eligible stream key before trying again.
- The encoder connects to the wrong broadcast: Confirm that it has the correct server URL and the stream key for the intended event. Treat keys as private credentials.
- Mobile live streaming is unavailable: Check the mobile-specific requirements: at least 50 subscribers, verification, no restrictions in the prior 90 days, and live streaming enabled. Allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation.
- A completed stream is missing from its playlist: Find the replay in Studio’s Content > Live, open its details, and add it to the correct playlist. If there is no replay, check whether the stream exceeded 12 hours and whether a local recording was made.
- Viewers cannot find the scheduled event or playlist: Review the event and playlist visibility settings, and confirm that the scheduled stream is listed as upcoming.
