You can broadcast authorized Bengali sermon recordings as a continuous YouTube live stream by creating a live stream in YouTube Studio and feeding it from an encoder that plays the recordings. For a local setup, a computer, encoder, internet connection, and someone responsible for monitoring must stay in operation. Or use cloud playout: upload recordings, add your YouTube stream key, and let the service run the feed remotely.
Before scheduling anything, confirm the church has permission for every part of each recording and that its YouTube channel is eligible to livestream. A normal YouTube video upload is not the same as an encoder-fed live broadcast.
Before you begin: check rights and YouTube access
Clear the complete recording
Check that the church may rebroadcast each sermon recording. Review the entire program, not just the sermon: music, video clips, photographs, artwork, slides, and contributions from other people may have separate rights. Keep written permission and note any conditions, such as permitted platforms or territories. This is a practical rights checklist, not a legal determination.
YouTube says it scans live streams for matches to third-party content. If it detects a match, it may replace the live picture with a placeholder and warn you to stop streaming the content; if the stream continues, it may be interrupted or terminated. If the church has licensed material that is detected, YouTube says the rights owner may need to add the channel to its Content ID allowlist. A stream may still be interrupted without allowlisting, including where the creator has restricted territories. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.

Confirm the channel can go live
YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance says the channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. Check the channel’s current access in YouTube Studio before preparing a continuous schedule. YouTube’s published guidance does not settle every account’s eligibility or behavior for uninterrupted prerecorded streams, so confirm the option is available in your own Studio account.
Choose where the continuous playback will run
| Decision | Local encoder | Cloud playout |
|---|---|---|
| Where the video plays | On a church-controlled computer running an encoder such as OBS. | On a provider-hosted system that sends the feed to YouTube. |
| What must keep running | The computer, encoder, and internet connection; someone should monitor them and respond to interruptions. | The hosted service. Check its current YouTube support, file handling, restart behavior, account access, support, terms, and cost before relying on it. |
| Equipment and evidence | A suitable computer is needed. OBS describes its software as free and open source, but no universal hardware minimum is established. See the OBS Help Portal. | A dedicated local streaming computer may not be needed. Capabilities and terms vary by provider and should be verified directly. |
There is no universal computer specification or upload-speed minimum established for this job. The right requirements depend on the recordings, chosen output settings, network, and how much resilience the church needs.

Set up a local 24/7 stream with OBS
- Prepare a rights-cleared playlist. Gather the recordings in playback order and verify the permissions and license conditions for each one. Test that the files play correctly on the computer that will run the stream.
- Check Live access in YouTube Studio. Sign in to the church channel, open YouTube Studio, and confirm livestreaming is available. Complete channel verification if needed and resolve any restriction before planning the broadcast.
- Create the live stream in YouTube Live Control Room. Choose the live-stream creation flow and follow YouTube’s current prompts for the stream. YouTube provides encoder streaming as a way to go live; the exact screens and options can change, so use the current Studio instructions.
- Connect OBS to YouTube. In YouTube’s stream details, retrieve the stream key and configure OBS using the stream information YouTube supplies. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it, include it in a public screenshot, or share it with people who do not operate the broadcast. If it is exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Set up playback and start the encoder. Configure OBS and its playback source to play the recordings in the intended order, then send the output to the YouTube stream. The exact playlist workflow depends on the encoder setup; follow current OBS and YouTube instructions rather than assuming an uploaded YouTube video automatically becomes a continuous live feed.
- Test before announcing the schedule. Use a short recording for a private or otherwise suitable test. Check picture, sound, playback order, YouTube stream health, and what happens after a controlled encoder restart. Make sure a responsible person knows how to respond if playback or the feed stops.
- Keep the operation monitored. The computer, encoder, and network need to remain available for the local route. Check YouTube Studio for warnings or interruptions, and assign someone to respond to encoder failures or copyright notices.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for keeping a channel live from uploaded videos. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add the YouTube stream key once, and go live; the cloud plays the files, so a computer and home connection do not have to stay on. It automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. Each slot supports the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with no re-encoding or quality tiers. The first day is free with no card, once per account. The monthly option is $9.99 per month.
See StreamNeo for details, then start your free first day.

Troubleshoot common interruptions
- You cannot start a live stream: Recheck channel verification and whether a live-stream restriction occurred in the preceding 90 days. Confirm current access in YouTube Studio.
- YouTube shows a copyright warning or placeholder: Stop and identify the matched material. Confirm permissions for the recording and its embedded music, clips, images, and slides. For licensed material, contact the rights owner about adding the channel to its Content ID allowlist; do not assume a license alone prevents automated interruption.
- The live feed stops when the computer is unattended: Check that the computer has not slept or shut down, the encoder remains open, and the internet connection is active. A local setup requires all three to keep operating.
- The stream is live but the wrong recording plays: Check the encoder’s playback source, file availability, and playlist order; test the sequence before restoring the announced schedule.
- The stream drops after a network or encoder restart: Check that the encoder is still sending to the active YouTube stream and that the correct stream key is configured. Restart the encoder and monitor Studio for recovery or warnings before leaving it unattended.
Plan the broadcast responsibly
A continuous stream is an operational commitment as well as a playlist. Keep a record of permissions, assign responsibility for checking Studio and handling interruptions, and test a short rights-cleared program before promoting the schedule. If the church relies on a hosted service, verify its current file limits, recovery behavior, access controls, support, terms, and cost directly before depending on it.
