If the channel needs more than a single repeating playlist, Castr’s cloud playout description covers scheduling uploaded videos and recordings alongside live streams into one continuous channel. It says the output can go to an embedded player, social destinations including YouTube and Facebook, and custom RTMP/SRT destinations. Bandwidth, storage and service claims
Castr’s pricing page lists plan-specific stream, destination, bandwidth and storage capacities. Its current published entry price is $19.99/month month-to-month, or $16.67/month equivalent when billed annually. The page also advertises a 99.9% uptime SLA, multi-CDN delivery and 24/7 support; these are vendor-published claims, not independently measured results. A Castr help-center article dated December 1, 2022 says unlimited-duration streaming depends on an active subscription and sufficient streaming bandwidth. Read that alongside the current plan-specific bandwidth allowances: it does not establish that continuous viewing has no bandwidth limit or extra cost. Scheduled VOD playout with enterprise requirements
StreamShark’s Live Scheduler guide describes scheduling curated VOD at set times or running it as a 24/7 loop that continues until manually stopped. It also describes selecting an ingest and provides HLS and DASH feed URLs. The guide says access is currently for subscriptions with a Dedicated Server attached; StreamShark’s pricing page lists Live Scheduler as an Enterprise feature. Confirm the YouTube route before committing
The Scheduler guide does not show whether its HLS or DASH output can be delivered straight to YouTube Live, nor whether a separate encoder, relay service or other configuration is required. Ask StreamShark for the exact end-to-end path, including where the YouTube stream key is entered, what service sends the feed to YouTube, and which subscription and Dedicated Server terms apply. StreamShark’s live-streaming page describes Scheduler-based simulated-live broadcasting and support up to 4K, but does not resolve this YouTube-specific handoff.
