There is no single best webinar platform for every marketer. The right choice depends on your audience size, event format, marketing stack, engagement and attribution needs, and how much setup your team can manage. For B2B marketing and training, compare Livestorm; for teams already using Zoom, consider Zoom Webinars; for recurring business programs, assess GoTo Webinar; and for enterprise demand generation, put ON24 on the shortlist. Demio is aimed at SMB marketing, while WebinarJam is a candidate for creator-led, sales-focused presentations.
What is the best webinar platform?
Start with the job the webinar must do, not a vendor’s general “best” label. A recurring lead-generation webinar, an enterprise content journey and a creator’s product presentation place different demands on registration, follow-up, attendee engagement and measurement.
The platform descriptions below reflect vendor and comparison material, not independent performance testing. Confirm current plan limits, pricing and features with each vendor before buying.
- For B2B marketing and training: Livestorm is positioned for these programs, with credit-based pricing in its 2026 comparison. [Livestorm’s comparison]
- For a team already standardized on Zoom: Zoom Webinars may be a practical fit if familiarity and continuity with existing Zoom use matter. [Livestorm’s comparison]
- For recurring business programs: GoTo Webinar’s current plans list reminders, follow-ups, polls, Live Q&A and analytics, with audience limits that vary by plan. [GoTo Webinar pricing]
- For enterprise demand generation: ON24 describes live, simulive and on-demand experiences alongside CRM and marketing-automation integrations, analytics, engagement scoring and attribution. [ON24’s comparison]
- For SMB marketing: Demio is identified as an option for small-business marketing webinars; check plan capacity and whether its live or on-demand workflow fits your program. [Livestorm’s comparison]
- For creator-led sales presentations: WebinarJam is positioned for offer-focused webinars with conversion tools; verify current plan terms and capacity. [Livestorm’s comparison]
How to compare webinar platforms for marketing
Make a shortlist using the requirements that affect your event and the work around it. A large attendee cap is not useful if registration data cannot reach the systems your team uses; a polished live room may not fit a program that depends on on-demand viewing.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Audience capacity and billing basis
Estimate the number of concurrent attendees you need, then check the plan’s limit and how the vendor charges. Pricing models differ: Livestorm’s comparison describes credit-based pricing, while Zoom and GoTo use plan or add-on structures in the reviewed comparisons. Compare the total configuration you need rather than a headline starting price, and confirm current terms directly with vendors. [Livestorm comparison] [GoTo pricing] [Zoom Webinars]
Registration, reminders and follow-up
Check whether the platform supports the registration pages and branding you need, automated reminders, post-event follow-up, and source tracking. Then verify where attendee and registration data goes: a workable connection to your CRM or marketing automation tools may matter more than another presentation feature. GoTo lists automated reminders and follow-ups on its plan page; ON24 describes CRM and marketing-automation integration and source data capabilities. [GoTo Webinar pricing] [ON24 comparison]
Engagement and measurement
Match interaction tools to the event: polls, Q&A and chat can support participation, while reporting and engagement signals can help a marketing team assess what happened. If attribution or account-level analysis is essential, ask how the platform defines and exports those measures. GoTo lists polls, Live Q&A and analytics; ON24 describes real-time analytics, engagement scoring and attribution. These are vendor-stated capabilities, not a guarantee of a particular marketing outcome. [GoTo Webinar pricing] [ON24 comparison]

Live, on-demand or simulated live
Decide whether each session must be live, whether attendees need a replay, or whether an automated or simulive format is appropriate. ON24 describes all three formats. Comparison material also identifies live and automated scenarios for Demio and WebinarJam; confirm the precise workflows and plan availability with those vendors. [ON24 comparison] [Livestorm comparison]
Branding, governance and operational complexity
A small team may value a straightforward registration-to-follow-up workflow. A larger organization may need branded experiences, multiple event formats, integrations, governance and measurement across a broader content journey. Include the staff time required to configure and operate the platform in your evaluation—not just the software plan.

What is the best webinar platform for small businesses in 2026?
For a small business, begin by checking whether Demio or Livestorm supports your likely attendee count, event type and follow-up workflow. Zoom Webinars can also make sense if your team already uses Zoom and values staying in that environment. These are shortlist suggestions, not a universal ranking: the right choice depends on current plan limits, budget and the CRM or marketing tools your team needs to connect.

Before committing, map one real event from registration through post-webinar follow-up. Confirm who owns reminders, how attendees receive the replay, what data reaches the CRM, and whether the reports answer the team’s actual questions. Vendor comparison descriptions can help you identify candidates, but they do not establish independent performance or prove a platform will produce more leads.
Is Zoom Webinars worth it compared to dedicated platforms?
It may be worth evaluating when your team is already standardized on Zoom: familiarity can reduce the need to introduce another webinar workflow. Dedicated marketing platforms may deserve a closer look when branded registration, source tracking, automated follow-up, evergreen formats or marketing-specific measurement are central to the program. A 2025 comparison supports Zoom feature descriptions such as chat, reactions, Q&A, polls and surveys, but it does not establish current pricing. Compare the current Zoom subscription plus webinar add-on against the full plan you would need elsewhere. [Zoom Webinars] [Livestorm comparison]
How to make the final choice
- Set the event requirements: record expected concurrent attendees, event frequency, live versus on-demand needs, branding requirements and any accessibility or replay expectations.
- Trace the marketing workflow: check registration, reminders, follow-up, source data and the destination for attendee records.
- Choose the measurement standard: decide which participation, engagement or attribution data your team will actually use, then ask vendors to demonstrate how it is reported and exported.
- Compare complete plan costs: include the capacity and add-ons needed for your use case. Recheck prices and limits on the vendor’s current plan page before purchase.
- Run a realistic rehearsal: test the registration experience, presenter controls, attendee interactions, recording or replay, and CRM handoff with the people who will operate the event.
Livestorm’s 2026 comparison attributes a finding to its 2026 Webinar Benchmark Report that 51.2% of go-to-market practitioners call webinars critical or very important to their strategy. Treat that as Livestorm’s reported statistic, not an independently verified measurement. [Livestorm comparison]

Keep a YouTube channel live between webinars
A webinar platform hosts scheduled events; it is not the same thing as a service that continuously loops uploaded video as a YouTube live stream. If you want an always-on YouTube channel built from recorded videos—for example, to keep programming available between scheduled webinars—StreamNeo runs uploaded videos and playlists from the cloud. Upload a recording or make a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream; your computer does not need to stay on.
Every slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, 24/7 looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops, and support from the StreamNeo team. The same product is included on each plan; only the billing length changes. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Plans can be billed by day, week, month, six months or year, and can be cancelled any time. UPI and cards are accepted in India; card checkout is available worldwide. For five or more slots, contact support.
StreamNeo is for uploaded video streaming to YouTube, not camera-based broadcasts or webinars, and does not send the stream to other platforms. Check copyright permissions for every video you upload and review YouTube’s applicable rules for your channel.
