To show product names and prices in a YouTube Live promo loop, put the details into a prepared video or graphic sequence, then add it to your stream using an encoder that supports media or graphics. For clickable product discovery, eligible channels can also tag and pin products with YouTube Shopping. These are separate approaches: text in your custom loop does not automatically update from a product catalog.
Choose how viewers should see the products

You can use either approach or both: the custom loop controls the visual presentation, while Shopping provides native product discovery where available.
Make a custom promo loop with product names and prices
1. Verify the information before designing
List products in the order they should appear. Check each name, price, currency, and offer condition against the seller’s current listing before rendering the loop. If a price or promotion changes, update and re-check the asset; the cited YouTube documentation does not describe automatic price synchronization for custom graphics.
2. Build a readable sequence
Create a looping video or graphic sequence with the product information inside the frame used for your stream. Keep names and prices legible at the size viewers will see on a phone, and leave each item on screen long enough to read. Include any essential qualification—such as an offer’s applicable dates or conditions—so the displayed price is not misleading.

3. Add the asset through your encoder
In the encoder you chose, add the prepared sequence as a media or graphics source, or create the graphics in the encoder if it supports that workflow. YouTube describes encoders as a way to manage advanced productions and use overlays and graphics, but the exact controls depend on the encoder. Check its current instructions rather than assuming a particular menu path.
4. Preview the complete output
Set up the stream in YouTube Live Control Room and inspect the outgoing preview with the promo loop in place. Check that text is not covered by other stream elements, is readable on mobile, and appears in the intended order. Test audio and video and review stream health before the scheduled start. Use YouTube Shopping for native product tags
If viewers need to browse products rather than only read information in the video, check eligibility and product availability in YouTube Studio before relying on Shopping. Eligible creators can tag their own products or products from other brands. For third-party products, YouTube says items should be prominently featured, safe to use, meaningfully related to the stream, and available through a selected retailer. Availability can vary by viewer location.
- In YouTube Studio, open the Shopping tools and select relevant eligible products to tag for the live stream. Confirm the products and retailer are available for your channel and intended audience.
- In Live Control Room, pin or unpin a product to feature it during the stream. YouTube documents a desktop-only option for multiple featured products to rotate automatically every 60 seconds.
- Check the live presentation: YouTube notes that changes made during a stream may not immediately appear to some viewers who are already watching.
- If appropriate, tag products after the stream as well so they can appear during the replay.

- Re-check product names, prices, currencies, and offer terms against current seller listings.
- Preview the outgoing layout in Live Control Room, including the full loop.
- Check legibility and placement on mobile as well as desktop.
- Test audio, video, and stream health before the event, and confirm the event opens from channel or watch pages.
- If using Shopping, verify channel eligibility, product and retailer availability, relevance, pin order, and expected regional reach.
