For a finished 1080p30 SDR playlist video, export an MP4 with H.264 video, progressive scan, the source frame rate, VBR, and 48 kHz stereo audio. YouTube recommends 8 Mbps for 1080p at 24, 25, or 30 fps and 384 kbps for stereo audio uploads. If you mean a live encoder broadcast rather than a file upload, use a different target: YouTube recommends 14 Mbps for 1080p30 H.264 live ingest. These are YouTube’s platform recommendations, not devotional-specific presets or guaranteed quality results.
First choose: upload a finished playlist or broadcast live
The export settings depend on how the playlist reaches YouTube. A finished video file is uploaded and processed by YouTube; a live encoder sends a continuous feed to YouTube’s ingest service. Their bitrate and audio recommendations differ, so do not use the live bitrate as an upload export target.
- Finished file: follow YouTube’s upload encoding recommendations. For a typical 1080p SDR file at 24/25/30 fps, the recommended video bitrate is 8 Mbps.
- Live encoder: follow YouTube’s live settings. For 1080p30, the recommended bitrate is 14 Mbps for H.264 or 10 Mbps for AV1/H.265.
YouTube does not publish a separate export preset for Hindi devotional music or playlists. The appropriate settings depend on the source resolution, frame rate, audio, and whether you are uploading a file or broadcasting live.
Recommended settings for a finished 1080p upload
| Setting | Starting point |
|---|---|
| Container | MP4 |
| Video codec | H.264 |
| Scan and color sampling | Progressive, 4:2:0 |
| Frame rate | Match the source recording |
| Rate control | VBR |
| Video bitrate at 1080p SDR | 8 Mbps at 24/25/30 fps; 12 Mbps at 48/50/60 fps |
| Audio sample rate | 48 kHz |
| Stereo audio bitrate | 384 kbps |
| File layout | Fast Start (moov atom at front); no edit lists |
YouTube’s upload guidance recommends AAC-LC, Opus, or Eclipsa Audio and 48 kHz audio. For a conventional stereo devotional playlist, AAC stereo at 48 kHz is a practical choice. Keep the original frame rate rather than converting to 60 fps simply because the option exists: YouTube says content should be encoded and uploaded at the frame rate at which it was recorded.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The figures are YouTube’s published recommendations, accessed in 2026; they are not measurements of a particular bhajan, kirtan, Gurbani, or other devotional recording. A higher bitrate cannot restore detail or audio quality missing from the source.
Live encoder settings for a 1080p30 stream
| Setting | YouTube’s live guidance |
|---|---|
| Video codec and bitrate | H.264: 14 Mbps; AV1 or H.265: 10 Mbps |
| Rate control | CBR |
| Keyframe interval | 2 seconds; do not exceed 4 seconds |
| Audio codec | AAC or MP3 |
| Audio bitrate | 128 kbps stereo in YouTube’s advanced live settings |
| Connection | RTMPS recommended where available |
Keep live audio instructions distinct from upload settings. YouTube’s live advanced settings list 44.1 kHz for stereo, while its upload recommendations specify 48 kHz. Follow the guidance for the workflow you are using rather than combining the two into one preset.

For an encoder broadcast, YouTube recommends upload bandwidth 20% above the total streaming bitrate. Make sure the connection can sustain that margin; a speed-test peak alone does not establish that it will hold through a long stream.
Build and check the playlist before publishing
- Identify the source: note its resolution, frame rate, and whether it is interlaced. For uploads, preserve the source frame rate; deinterlace interlaced footage.
- Choose the workflow: use the upload recommendations for a rendered file or the live recommendations for a real-time encoder feed.
- Export the file: for a typical 1080p SDR upload, use the relevant bitrate for its frame-rate category, plus 48 kHz audio. Avoid upscaling a lower-resolution source just to label it 1080p.
- Review the whole audio program: listen through the opening, transitions between tracks, and ending after export. Check for clipping, accidental silence, abrupt cuts, or unintended gaps. This is a useful editorial check, not a YouTube technical requirement.
- Test a live broadcast: use representative audio and motion, verify the connection’s sustained upload capacity, and monitor YouTube’s stream health. YouTube advises that tests include audio and movement similar to what the stream will contain.
Make sure the music and visuals are cleared
Encoding specifications do not grant rights to the songs, recordings, artwork, or video in a playlist. Before uploading or broadcasting, confirm that you have permission to use each recording and visual asset on YouTube. A devotional composition may be traditional while a particular performance or recording has its own rights. Review YouTube’s live encoder guidance and upload encoding guidance for technical requirements; for a practical preflight, use StreamNeo’s copyright safety checklist.

Troubleshooting common export and stream problems
- Upload looks soft or blocky: check that the export resolution matches the source and that you selected the bitrate for the correct frame-rate category. A low-detail source will remain low-detail at a higher export bitrate.
- Motion looks uneven: check for an unnecessary frame-rate conversion. For a file upload, preserve the recorded frame rate rather than forcing 60 fps.
- Live stream drops or reports poor health: confirm CBR and the two-second keyframe interval, then check whether sustained upload bandwidth includes YouTube’s recommended 20% headroom. Retest with representative content and monitor stream health.
- Audio clips, goes silent, or has gaps: inspect the exported file across track transitions and the ending; verify that the playlist source itself has no unintended gaps or clipping.
- The live and upload audio settings conflict: use the upload specification for a finished file and the live specification for an encoder broadcast; do not silently substitute one workflow’s sample-rate recommendation for the other.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is a YouTube channel that stays live with a playlist, StreamNeo lets you upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live.
