That repeats playback for you; it does not turn the playlist into a YouTube livestream. To broadcast devotional music continuously, set up a separate live stream and make sure you have the necessary rights for every track.
Repeat a playlist while watching YouTube
- Open a video that is part of the Hindi devotional playlist.
- Expand the playlist panel beside or below the video.
- Select Loop. YouTube will repeat the playlist during playback.
On a TV or gaming console, select the playlist, open the playback controls, then choose Repeat until the control indicates playlist repeat. YouTube documents this as playback behavior, not as a way to broadcast the playlist live. YouTube’s playlist-looping instructions cover repeat playback.
Can you loop that playlist as a YouTube livestream?
The playlist Repeat control only affects playback for a viewer. It does not create a live broadcast. YouTube’s live-stream setup guidance lists mobile, webcam, encoder, and console methods, but does not document a built-in “loop this playlist live” feature. A continuous music broadcast therefore needs a separately configured livestream and a source workflow that keeps sending audio and video. General ways to start a livestream

Check eligibility before setting up the stream
- YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days.
- YouTube states that streamers must be at least 16 years old.
- Confirm the channel can go live before arranging music, a schedule, or a continuous broadcast. See YouTube’s live-stream setup requirements.
Clear rights for every devotional track
Religious or devotional subject matter does not automatically make a song free to broadcast. Before streaming, establish that you have the necessary rights for each recording and any other included material. YouTube’s live-stream terms place responsibility on the provider to hold the rights needed to use the livestream, including applicable music rights involving artists, labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. Rights and licensing can depend on territory and rights holders, so do not assume that a track is cleared simply because it is publicly available online.

YouTube says livestreams are scanned for matches to third-party content. If it detects such material, it may replace the stream with a placeholder; if the material continues, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream. Even when you have a license, the rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Review YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and the YouTube Terms of Service before broadcasting.
Encoder checks during a live event
If you use an encoder, YouTube’s general guidance is to check the Live Control Room preview, confirm the event is accessible, monitor audio and video quality, and stop the encoder after the event. These are production checks for a live encoder feed; they do not supply a playlist-loop configuration. See YouTube’s encoder live-streaming tips.
