First, identify which playlist you mean. If you are watching a regular YouTube playlist, turn on its playlist Loop control. If you are broadcasting a relaxation stream, make the media source repeat or restart and keep the encoder sending content to YouTube; the viewer-side Loop button does not restart a creator’s live source.
Which playlist is ending?
“Playlist” can mean either a list you are watching in YouTube’s player or the collection of recordings feeding your own livestream. The fixes are different:
- Watching: enable playlist Loop in the YouTube player.
- Broadcasting: configure the playback source that feeds your encoder to repeat or restart, then verify that the encoder continues sending audio and video.
If you are watching a YouTube playlist
Start a video from the playlist, then enable the playlist’s Loop control. YouTube’s instructions differ by device:
- Computer: expand the playlist and click Loop.
- Android: open the playback controls and turn on playlist loop.
- TV or game console: use the playback controls to turn on playlist loop.
Make sure you have enabled loop for the playlist, not merely repeat for one video. Google’s IFrame Player API says playlist looping is off by default; with looping off, playback ends after the last item. Google IFrame Player API reference

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
If you run the relaxation livestream
YouTube receives a live feed from an encoder. Its setup instructions have you provide the encoder with the stream URL and stream key, then start the encoder. YouTube states: “To end the stream, stop sending content from your encoder.” YouTube Help: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder
That means the important question is not whether YouTube’s viewer playlist loops, but whether your outgoing source remains active when its final item finishes. The precise repeat setting depends on your playback software or media workflow; YouTube’s cited encoder guidance does not specify how to configure a particular player.

Set up and test the source loop
- Check the source: identify the software or system playing the relaxation videos into your encoder. Confirm that the playlist contains the intended files and that the final item has a defined repeat or restart behavior.
- Enable repeat or restart upstream: use the playback system’s own repeat setting or an equivalent restart workflow. Do not rely on the YouTube player’s playlist Loop control to keep the encoder feed alive.
- Keep the encoder running: confirm that it continues sending both picture and sound through the transition from the last item back to the first.
- Test before going public: run a private or unlisted test and watch a complete end-to-start transition. Check the YouTube preview and the recorded output for gaps, frozen video, silence, or an encoder stop.
- Confirm stream details: use the stream URL and key shown in YouTube Studio’s live-stream setup for the encoder you intend to use. Treat the key as private; anyone with it may be able to send a feed to your channel.
Separate source, network, and encoder failures
A playlist reaching its end is only one way a broadcast can stop. Diagnose the source, connection, and encoder separately rather than assuming a loop setting fixes all interruptions.
Empty or stopped media source
If the feed ends at the same point each time, inspect the last playlist item and the playback system’s repeat or restart behavior. Observe the full transition in a test stream; a playlist that appears to loop in a local preview may still leave the encoder without a continuing feed.

Upload or network interruption
YouTube advises leaving headroom in outbound bandwidth and testing streaming reliability. A connection that cannot sustain the outgoing feed can interrupt a broadcast even when the source playlist is healthy. YouTube Help: Live stream with encoder tips
Encoder failure
YouTube recommends testing failover to a backup encoder. In a controlled test, stop or disconnect the primary encoder and verify that your backup can take over as intended. YouTube’s guidance supports testing this recovery path; it does not certify a particular encoder’s source-looping capability.

HLS is a different kind of playlist
If your encoder uses HLS ingestion, YouTube’s rolling media-segment playlist requirements concern transport segments, not the list of relaxation videos you chose to play. YouTube’s HLS setup guidance says a rolling playlist must have no more than five outstanding segments. Do not treat that limit as a setting for repeating your content playlist. YouTube Help: Set up an HLS live stream
Or let it run in the cloud
For a YouTube relaxation stream made from uploaded recordings, StreamNeo is a cloud alternative: upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops the uploaded videos without requiring a computer, OBS, or home connection to stay on.

Archive and continuity are not the same thing
YouTube says live streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. An archive is a recording after a stream; it does not keep the live broadcast running when the encoder stops sending content. YouTube Help: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder
