FFmpeg में किसी वीडियो फ़ाइल को लगातार दोहराने के लिए संबंधित -i से पहले -stream_loop -1 लिखें। इससे फ़ाइल अनंत बार loop होती है; यह अकेले YouTube Live शुरू नहीं करता और न ही कंप्यूटर, इंटरनेट या FFmpeg प्रक्रिया को 24/7 चालू रखने की व्यवस्था करता है।
FFmpeg loop command
स्थानीय वीडियो फ़ाइल को YouTube Live पर भेजने की सामान्य command का ढाँचा यह है:
ffmpeg -re -stream_loop -1 -i input.mp4
-c:v libx264 -c:a aac
-f flv "$YOUTUBE_RTMP_URL/$YOUTUBE_STREAM_KEY"यह एक सामान्य उदाहरण है, हर मशीन और YouTube stream के लिए production-ready command नहीं। अपने FFmpeg build, YouTube Studio में चुने गए ingest protocol और stream settings, फ़ाइल के codecs तथा उपलब्ध audio/video tracks के अनुसार इसे जाँचें। FFmpeg command में विकल्पों का क्रम मायने रखता है: -stream_loop input option है, इसलिए इसे उस input के -i से पहले रखें। FFmpeg का आधिकारिक मैनुअल -1 को अनंत loop और 0 को बिना loop के रूप में परिभाषित करता है।
-re स्थानीय फ़ाइल को उसकी native frame rate पर पढ़ता है और FFmpeg इसे live streaming जैसे उपयोगों के लिए बताता है। इसे असली live capture source पर कम read rate से इस्तेमाल करने का निर्देश न समझें।

सेटअप: फ़ाइल से YouTube Live तक
- फ़ाइल और अधिकार जाँचें। अपने अधिकार वाली वीडियो फ़ाइल स्थानीय मशीन पर रखें। उसमें प्रसारण के लिए आवश्यक audio और video tracks मौजूद हों; वीडियो, संगीत और अन्य सामग्री के अधिकार भी सुनिश्चित करें। Copyright match लाइव प्रसारण को प्रतिबंधित कर सकता है।
- YouTube Live stream बनाएँ या चुनें। YouTube Studio में Live Control Room खोलें और encoder प्रकार का stream बनाएँ या चुनें। वहीं दिखाया गया protocol और stream key लें। YouTube encoder को समर्थित streaming method बताता है; third-party encoder से dual horizontal/vertical stream के लिए उसकी सहायता सामग्री RTMP(S) workflow बताती है। YouTube की encoder सहायता देखें।
- Input loop सेट करें। Command में
-stream_loop -1को संबंधित-i input.mp4से ठीक पहले रखें।-stream_loop 0loop नहीं करता। - Stream key सुरक्षित रखें। उसे सार्वजनिक script, screenshot, shell history या साझा logs में न डालें। जहाँ संभव हो, सुरक्षित configuration से पढ़ें; key उजागर हो जाए तो YouTube Studio में उसे बदलें।
- सीमित परीक्षण करें। पहले private या unlisted प्रसारण चलाकर YouTube Studio में ingest और playback देखें। आवाज़, तस्वीर, फ़ाइल के अंत से शुरुआत तक का loop और नेटवर्क स्थिरता जाँचें।
- लगातार चलने के लिए बाकी व्यवस्था जोड़ें। मशीन और FFmpeg प्रक्रिया, internet uplink, निगरानी तथा failure के बाद restart की व्यवस्था अलग से चाहिए। Loop flag इनमें से कोई चीज़ उपलब्ध नहीं कराता।

Live streaming की पात्रता

Made for kids के प्रभाव

Live सामग्री पर YouTube Community Guidelines लागू होती हैं। उल्लंघन का संकेत मिलने पर YouTube stream को age-restrict या हटा सकता है। Copyright match भी प्रतिबंध का कारण हो सकता है। YouTube यह भी कहता है कि 16 वर्ष से कम आयु के बच्चे यदि किसी वयस्क के प्रत्यक्ष साथ के बिना live stream में दिखाई दें, तो stream हटाई जा सकती है या live chat बंद हो सकती है। YouTube के live-stream restrictions देखें।

अगर DASH ingestion इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं
YouTube की DASH encoder guide में DASH ingestion के लिए muxed audio/video, closed GOPs और 8 सेकंड से कम GOP आकार जैसी आवश्यकताएँ दी गई हैं; guide लगभग 2 सेकंड का GOP उचित बताती है। ये DASH-specific निर्देश हैं। इन्हें बिना भेद किए ऊपर के सामान्य RTMP(S) command पर लागू न करें। YouTube की DASH encoder guide देखें।
समस्या निवारण
- फ़ाइल एक बार चलकर रुक जाती है: जाँचें कि
-stream_loop -1उसी फ़ाइल के-iसे पहले है।-stream_loop 0loop नहीं करेगा। - YouTube stream प्राप्त नहीं कर रहा: Studio में चुना हुआ ingest protocol, RTMP URL और stream key मिलाएँ। FFmpeg output format को YouTube के चुने गए workflow से मेल खाना चाहिए; key को सार्वजनिक रूप से साझा न करें।
- तस्वीर है, आवाज़ नहीं: स्रोत फ़ाइल में audio track है या नहीं जाँचें और encoder mapping/codec को अपने input तथा YouTube settings के अनुरूप करें। उदाहरण की
-c:a aacsetting तभी उपयोगी है जब audio input उपलब्ध हो। - Loop के जोड़ पर रुकावट या असंगति: परीक्षण में फ़ाइल का अंत और शुरुआत देखें-सुनें। स्रोत के अंतिम और शुरुआती frames या audio में अंतर हो सकता है; केवल loop flag उसे ठीक नहीं करता।
- लंबे प्रसारण में stream बंद हो जाती है: FFmpeg process, मशीन, बिजली, uplink और YouTube connection की स्थिति अलग-अलग जाँचें। Loop flag reconnect, process restart या uptime की गारंटी नहीं देता।
