If your YouTube Live real estate tour ends when its prerecorded playlist finishes, enable repeat in the player or playout service that feeds your encoder, then test the transition in YouTube Live Control Room. YouTube’s encoder guidance says a stream ends when the encoder stops sending content, so an exhausted source is a plausible cause—not a confirmed diagnosis of every setup.
First check whether the stream ended or playback stopped for one viewer
A YouTube live broadcast is the watchable event; its bound stream is the audio-video feed sent to YouTube. The distinction matters: a broadcast that is still live with a changing preview points to a different problem than a feed that has stopped.
- Open YouTube Live Control Room and check whether the broadcast is still marked live.
- Look at the preview or incoming feed. If it continues changing, check playback on another device or browser; the issue may be local to the viewer rather than the tour source.
- If the broadcast has ended or the preview has frozen at the playlist boundary, inspect the source playback and encoder before restarting.
YouTube advises checking the preview before starting and monitoring stream quality while live. Use those checks to see what happens at the end of a complete tour cycle.
Make the tour source repeat
If a prerecorded tour file or playlist is what your streaming software or hosted playout service sends to YouTube, set that media item or playlist to repeat continuously in that source’s playback controls. The repeat setting belongs to the player, encoder workflow, or playout service; YouTube does not provide one universal loop switch for every encoder.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Identify the exact file, playlist, or playout queue feeding the encoder.
- Enable that source’s repeat or loop option. If the source is a playlist, choose repeat-all or its equivalent rather than repeat-one if you want tours to play in sequence.
- Confirm that the encoder remains active when the final item ends and that it continues sending audio and video.
- Run a controlled test, such as an unlisted stream, and watch the Live Control Room preview through the full cycle boundary before relying on unattended playback.
YouTube’s encoder instructions say to end a live stream by stopping content sent from the encoder. That makes source exhaustion a sensible first check when the feed stops at the end of a file or playlist, but the documentation does not identify the root cause in an unspecified encoder.
If you use HLS ingestion, check its media playlist separately
HLS encoder ingestion has technical media playlists and segments. These are not the same as a list of property-tour videos in a playback app or a YouTube playlist used by viewers. For HLS ingestion specifically, check that the encoder sends media playlists and media segments in order, that sequence numbers increase monotonically, that an updated playlist is sent for each segment, and that no more than five segments are outstanding. These requirements do not apply to every streaming protocol.

When local looping is not dependable
If your encoder or playout tool cannot loop unattended, compare hosted continuous-streaming or playout services. Verify that the provider supports your source format and YouTube destination, loops the source as needed, shows stream health, and can recover from an interruption. YouTube’s encoder guide lists examples of software and hosted services, but inclusion is not an endorsement; check each provider’s current capabilities, price, reliability, and terms.
