Linux machine par YouTube Live ke liye FFmpeg playlist ko reboot ke baad apne aap chalane ka sahi tareeqa hai ek systemd service banana, usme absolute file paths aur stream key ko surakshit rakhna, phir service ko boot par enable karna. Yeh India ke liye alag encoder setting nahi maangta: apne upload connection ke hisaab se bitrate chunein. Dhyan rahe, YouTube ke mutabik 12 ghante se chhoti streams automatically archive hoti hain; isse ek hi live session ke 12 ghante se aage chalne ki guarantee na samjhein.
Shuru karne se pehle: playlist ka matlab tay karein
Is setup ke liye Linux host par FFmpeg aur systemd chahiye. Headless server ya PC par systemd service login shell ya desktop autostart se zyada munasib hai, kyunki service boot par chal sakti hai aur kisi user ke sign in hone par nirbhar nahi karti. Host local machine ho sakta hai ya remote server; faisla karte waqt bijli aur uptime, upload bandwidth, routing, storage access, provider policy aur kharch dekhein. Kisi khaas VPS provider ki yahan sifarish nahi ki ja rahi.
“Playlist” do alag input workflows ko keh sakta hai. Inhe ek na samjhein:

YouTube stream URL, key aur encoder settings taiyar karein
URL aur key Live Control Room se lein
YouTube Live Control Room se stream URL aur stream key lein. RTMPS istemal kar rahe hon to YouTube ke nirdesh ke mutabik RTMPS URL reveal karke copy karein, phir URL aur key encoder configuration mein dein. Stream key password ki tarah hai: use public script, shared repository, world-readable service file, screenshot ya public log mein na rakhein. Agar key compromise ho jaye, Live Control Room mein reset karein aur service ki secret configuration bhi update karein.
Illustrative FFmpeg command mein asli key nahi di gayi hai. Stream URL aur key ko apne secret-handling tareeqe se dena hoga; neeche ka placeholder sirf batata hai ki output URL kahan aata hai.

Bitrate ko target format aur upload link se milayein
YouTube ki current encoder guidance CBR aur 2-second keyframe interval ki sifarish karti hai; interval 4 seconds se zyada nahi hona chahiye. Codec, resolution aur frame rate ke mutabik bitrate chunein, aur upload connection ko us rate ko bharosemand tareeqe se sustain karna chahiye. YouTube Help kehta hai: “We recommend running a speed test to test your upload bitrate.” India ke liye koi alag physical product ya encoder setting sthapit nahi hai; aapke connection ki upload capacity hi local practical constraint hai.

AV1 aur H.265 ke rates alag hain; apne target ke liye YouTube ki current encoder settings, bitrates aur resolutions dekhein. Stream start karne se pehle milte-julte motion aur audio wale media par test karein, aur YouTube stream health monitor karein.

Input ki frame rate, audio, pixel format, scaling aur encoder build ke hisaab se options badal sakte hain. Network ko chosen bitrate reliably dena chahiye. Playlist files ke timestamps ya codecs mismatch hon to command chalne ke bawajood transitions mein artifacts aa sakte hain.
-safe 0 ko bina soche na lagayein: is example mein local absolute paths hain. Playlist mein remote ya untrusted paths na rakhein. Installed FFmpeg version aur uski option documentation ko verify karke representative files se test karein.

User, Group, FFmpeg ka path, playlist path aur install target apne Linux distribution ke mutabik set karein. network-online.target ka vyavahar network manager aur distribution par nirbhar ho sakta hai. WorkingDirectory aur absolute paths isliye rakhein kyunki boot service ka execution context login shell se alag hota hai.
Template mein dikhaya gaya URL/key placeholder hai. Asli key ko seedha unit mein rakhna use process listing, unit inspection ya logs se expose kar sakta hai. Aisi secret configuration ya secret-handling mechanism chunen jiska access restricted ho; root-owned file par sakht permissions ek mumkin approach hai, lekin apne setup ke security trade-offs jaanch lein.
Unit reload, enable aur verify karein
- Unit file save karne ke baad systemd definitions reload karein:
sudo systemctl daemon-reload. - Boot par enable karte hue abhi start karein:
sudo systemctl enable --now youtube-playlist.service. - Service state dekhein:
sudo systemctl status youtube-playlist.service. - Service log jaanchein:
sudo journalctl -u youtube-playlist.service. Zarurat par apne distribution ke journal options se latest entries dekhein. - Ek vaastavik reboot ke baad phir status aur YouTube stream health dekhein. Sirf logged-in session mein manual start safal hona boot behavior ka test nahi hai.
Crash, network drop aur stream health ko alag samjhein
Restart=on-failure FFmpeg process failure ke baad restart karne mein madad karta hai, lekin yeh frozen, black ya otherwise unhealthy stream ko pakka detect nahi karta. systemd restart attempts par start-rate limiting bhi lagu ho sakti hai. Isliye process ka “active” dikhna YouTube par sehatmand picture aur audio ka saboot nahi; dono jagah monitor karein.

FFmpeg ka FIFO muxer network output recovery ki koshish kar sakta hai, lekin yeh alag configuration hai aur attempt_recovery default roop se false hai. Ise systemd restart policy ka automatic hissa na samjhein; apne FFmpeg build aur documentation ke mutabik alag se configure aur test karein.
Aam problems aur unke hal
- Reboot ke baad service start nahi hoti:
systemctl statusaurjournalctl -u youtube-playlist.servicedekhein. Unit reload hua ya nahi, enable target, FFmpeg ka absolute path,WorkingDirectoryaur service account ke file permissions verify karein. - Service chalti dikh rahi hai, YouTube par stream nahi: Journal mein FFmpeg error dekhein; RTMPS URL, key, network access, encoder build aur options jaanchein. Live Control Room ka stream health bhi dekhein. Zarurat par key ko reset karke secret configuration update karein.
- Playlist beech mein gap ya timestamp artifacts deti hai: Media ke stream layout, codecs, time bases aur duration metadata ki compatibility jaanchein. Pehle wahi playlist interactive test mein chalakar transitions dekhein.
- Stream bitrate sustain nahi hota: YouTube ke target format ke hisaab se bitrate chunein aur upload speed test karein. Kamzor ya badalta upload link par zyada bitrate rakhna drop ya health problem ka sabab ho sakta hai.
- FFmpeg baar-baar restart ho raha hai: Journal mein repeated exit cause khojein; systemd rate limiting ke karan restart attempts ruk bhi sakte hain. Root cause durust kiye bina restart policy ko end-to-end recovery na samjhein.
- Key logs ya unit mein dikh gayi: Use compromised samjhein, Live Control Room mein reset karein, service ki secret configuration badlein aur phir service ko restart karke test karein.
