To stream recorded KPSC lessons continuously, play them as a planned sequence through an encoder and send that feed to YouTube Live. You can run the encoder on a computer, use dedicated hardware, or use a cloud service. Before starting, verify your channel’s live-streaming eligibility, check rights to every item in the lessons, and choose the current syllabus for the specific KPSC post or exam you teach.
Choose how to keep the lesson feed running
An encoder takes video playback and sends it to YouTube Live. YouTube supports software encoders and standalone hardware encoders; it also lists Gyre as a cloud option for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming. These routes differ mainly in where playback runs and how much equipment and monitoring you handle.

The available platform documentation establishes these routes, but does not provide comparable prices, uptime, or performance for them. Assess a service against your own requirements rather than assuming a particular stream will be uninterrupted.
Prepare lessons for the right KPSC exam
“KPSC” does not refer to one universal syllabus. Kerala Public Service Commission listings include syllabi for different posts and examinations, including Malayalam-medium entries. - Group lessons by the relevant post or examination, then arrange them in a useful learning order.
- Use clear Malayalam titles that identify the exam and topic, so viewers know what is playing.
- Check that the video and Malayalam audio are clear and that transitions between lessons work.
- Keep individual lesson videos or a regular YouTube playlist available too, so viewers can find a particular topic without waiting for the continuous loop to reach it.
Enable live streaming and schedule the broadcast
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours. YouTube also says streamers must be at least 16. Complete activation well before you announce a launch. Check YouTube’s live-streaming requirements.
- Open YouTube Studio and create or schedule a stream. Use Live Control Room to set up the broadcast. Scheduling creates a watch page that you can share before the stream begins.
- Copy the stream connection details. In YouTube’s stream settings, obtain the server URL and stream key. Keep the key private: it allows an encoder to send a feed to your channel.
- Configure your playback route. Enter the server URL and stream key in your software encoder, hardware encoder, or cloud service as directed by that provider. Arrange the recorded lessons to play continuously.
- Start the encoder and check the preview. Confirm that the correct video and Malayalam audio reach YouTube. Once the preview is right, start the live broadcast in Live Control Room if it is not set to begin automatically.

Clear rights for every lesson before going live
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. It may replace the picture with a placeholder, interrupt the stream, or terminate it. Even material you are licensed to use may be interrupted if the rights holder requires your channel to be added to a Content ID allowlist and that has not been done. Read YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.
- Confirm that you have permission for recorded lectures, slides, images, music, and any third-party clips in the videos.
- If your permission covers livestreaming but Content ID may still claim the material, ask the rights holder whether your channel needs to be allowlisted.
- Do not treat a lesson as safe to rebroadcast simply because it is educational or already appears on YouTube.
Plan archives and monetization separately
Continuous playback does not guarantee a single replay or a particular monetization outcome. YouTube documents automatic archiving for streams under 12 hours; its encoder guidance does not establish that one continuous stream longer than 12 hours will be archived as a single recording. If a dependable replay matters, consider scheduling shorter sessions and check the result in YouTube Studio.

YouTube’s monetization explanation published August 12, 2026 says public long-form videos and archived livestreams can count toward qualified watch hours, while unarchived livestream hours do not. Do not promise qualified watch hours for a continuous broadcast unless you have confirmed that the archive exists and meets the current rules. Troubleshoot common setup problems
- Live streaming is not available. Check channel verification and whether the channel has had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. If this is the first activation, allow up to 24 hours.
- YouTube receives no feed. Check that the encoder is running and that the server URL and stream key match the current YouTube stream. If you suspect the key was exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- The preview shows the wrong lesson or has no Malayalam audio. Check the playback sequence and audio output at the source, then inspect the YouTube preview before going live.
- The stream is interrupted or the picture is replaced. Review YouTube’s copyright notice and identify third-party music, images, footage, or other material. Confirm permissions and, when required, ask the rights holder about Content ID allowlisting.
- No replay appears after a long broadcast. YouTube’s documented automatic-archive guidance covers streams under 12 hours. Check Studio rather than assuming a longer continuous stream will be saved as one replay.
