Its announced U.S. recommended retail price is $749.99, with sales due to begin December 3, 2026. Thrustmaster expects worldwide availability before Christmas.
How much does the T-GT III cost, and when is it out?
Thrustmaster’s announced recommended prices are $749.99 in the U.S., €699.99 in Europe, £649.99 in the U.K. and ¥136,400 in Japan. These are manufacturer-recommended prices, not confirmed live retailer offers; Thrustmaster says retailer prices may vary. The company announced purchase availability from December 3, 2026, and expects the wheel to be available worldwide before Christmas. The announcement does not establish retailer stock.

Is the T-GT III compatible with PS5 and Gran Turismo 7?
Yes. Thrustmaster says the bundle is officially licensed for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 and designed for Gran Turismo. Its four rotary encoders are mapped directly to Gran Turismo. The announcement identifies it as the series’ fifth officially licensed Gran Turismo 7 wheel.

What comes in the T-GT III bundle?
Direct Axial Drive wheel base
The bundle uses Thrustmaster’s Direct Axial Drive system. The manufacturer specifies 5 Nm of constant torque and overshoot capacity up to 10 Nm. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured results.
Leather-finished wheel rim and game controls
The included T-GT steering wheel has a leather finish and four rotary encoders mapped to Gran Turismo.

Load-cell pedal set
A load-cell pedal set is included. Thrustmaster’s announcement does not name the pedal model or give further pedal specifications, so details such as its adjustment options are not established there.
Harmony haptic effects
Thrustmaster says its Harmony technology adds two types of feedback: GEAR JOLT, a sensation at each shift, and ENGINE ROAR, which makes the chassis resonate in time with engine RPM. These are the company’s descriptions of the features, not independent assessments of how they feel in use.

What is confirmed—and what remains unclear?
GTPlanet’s launch report describes the package as broadly similar to a T598 with an upgraded wheel and pedal set, and interprets its base as a T598 Servo Base. It also suggests the pedals may be Raceline Pedals LTE with a load-cell upgrade. Those are independent reporting and interpretation; Thrustmaster has not confirmed those specific component identifications in its announcement.
Thrustmaster says it intends to evolve the product through software and firmware updates as Gran Turismo receives Spec updates. It has not specified an update schedule or how long support will continue.

Why Thrustmaster is announcing it now
Alongside the wheel, Thrustmaster announced that it is again an Official Partner of the Gran Turismo World Series. The company describes its relationship with Polyphony Digital as a 16-year partnership. That context explains the product’s Gran Turismo focus; it does not establish how the T-GT III compares in performance with other wheel setups.
