To run Marathi videos continuously on YouTube Live, prepare the video sequence and send it as a live feed through an encoder or streaming service connected to YouTube’s Live Control Room. A normal YouTube playlist organizes videos for viewers; arranging uploads in one does not turn them into a 24/7 live broadcast. You will need to configure a separate live-stream workflow, confirm channel access and rights, and test the feed before relying on it.
What a 24/7 live playlist actually requires
Think of this as two separate jobs: preparing a sequence of Marathi videos, then transmitting that sequence as a live feed. YouTube’s encoder workflow has you create a live stream and send it to YouTube using a stream URL and key. The looping or playlist behavior belongs to the encoder or service you choose—not to a regular YouTube playlist.
YouTube’s encoder guidance lists software, hardware, and cloud options, including services intended for continuous prerecorded streams. These are workflow examples, not YouTube products or endorsements. Confirm each provider’s current features, terms, and cost before choosing.
Check channel eligibility and content rights first
Make sure the channel can livestream
YouTube requires a verified channel without livestreaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time livestream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable access well before your planned launch. Check the channel’s status in YouTube Studio rather than assuming a channel that can upload videos is ready to livestream. YouTube Help: YouTube live streaming tips.

Clear every video and audio track
Use only footage, music, and other material for which you have the necessary rights to livestream. Keep permission records or licenses available, and check with rights holders whether your channel needs to be allowlisted in YouTube Content ID. A license by itself may not prevent an automated interruption if the channel has not been allowlisted.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can replace the picture or interrupt or terminate the stream. YouTube’s livestream terms require the creator to have the rights needed to exploit the live content on Google services worldwide, including applicable music rights. Read the YouTube Livestream terms and conditions and YouTube Help on copyright issues with live streams before scheduling material whose rights are unclear.

Prepare the Marathi video library
- Choose the lineup. Select videos and put them in the intended order. Decide how the sequence should repeat and how transitions should work; configure that behavior in the encoder or service.
- Check each file. Play the source files and confirm they contain the intended Marathi audio, that titles and any captions are readable, and that there are no accidental gaps, black frames, or unwanted sections.
- Remove uncleared material. Do not include a video or music track until you have resolved its rights and any Content ID allowlisting needs.
- Verify compatibility with your chosen workflow. YouTube’s general guidance does not set Marathi-specific encoding, caption, transliteration, or file-format requirements. Check the selected encoder or service’s accepted formats and test the actual files rather than relying on a universal recipe.
Keep a local master copy if you need one for future edits or retention. The encoding and looping workflow may create its own files or segments, but those should not be treated as your only archive unless you have verified how they are stored.
Choose where the stream will run

Confirm current capabilities with each provider. YouTube’s list does not establish independent reliability or price comparisons, so choose based on your own continuity needs, control requirements, support, cost, and archive plan. Connect the encoder and test the feed
- Create the live stream in YouTube Studio. Open the Live Control Room and create or schedule the stream. Copy the stream URL and key shown for the event.
- Enter the connection details in your encoder or service. Paste in the YouTube stream URL and key, then configure the video sequence and its repeat behavior. Treat the key like a password; reset it if it is exposed.
- Allow time for setup. YouTube recommends configuring the encoder at least two hours before the event and starting it at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start. That gives you time to catch a connection or configuration problem.
- Wait for YouTube’s preview. Confirm that the expected picture and Marathi audio appear in the Live Control Room before going live. Do not assume that a successful connection means the correct content is being sent.
- Check access and monitoring. Verify that the watch page opens and that the stream can be viewed on mobile. Monitor picture and sound during playback, not just at launch.
- Check your archive plan. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. A single uninterrupted 24-hour stream is therefore different from a shorter scheduled event; confirm current archive behavior and decide whether to preserve a local master or segment the schedule.

Plan for enough upload capacity
YouTube recommends keeping total stream bitrate below available upload capacity with 20% headroom. If you send primary and backup feeds at the same time, count both rates in the total. Use a reliable wired connection where practical, and test the exact equipment and network path intended for the long-running stream. The recommendation is an operational margin, not a guarantee against outages.

Troubleshoot common launch problems
