Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTo avoid playing the same video twice in a row, arrange the prerecorded videos in a fixed order and check every adjacent pair before scheduling. YouTube’s reviewed live-streaming documentation does not describe a native prerecorded-playlist setting that prevents consecutive repeats. Restream documents selecting, reordering, previewing, and scheduling playlist videos, but not automatic duplicate detection—so the final sequence still needs a manual check.
First, distinguish a scheduled broadcast from a prerecorded playlist
A scheduled YouTube broadcast is not the same thing as a playlist of prerecorded videos. Google’s Live Streaming API describes creating a liveStream for stream settings, creating liveBroadcast resources for scheduled events, and binding a broadcast to a stream. It does not document sequencing prerecorded clips or a control that prevents one clip from following itself. See Google’s Live Streaming API overview and the API reference.
If you want prerecorded videos to play as a scheduled live stream, use a playlist-scheduling workflow that lets you control the sequence. Do not assume that YouTube’s standard broadcast scheduling will arrange uploaded clips or remove adjacent duplicates for you.
How to schedule the playlist and check for repeats
Restream’s playlist guide, dated July 25, 2026, describes selecting existing or uploaded videos, arranging them with drag-and-drop, previewing the playlist, and scheduling it for YouTube. Its event and scheduling guides also describe choosing a playlist, selecting multiple files, editing their order, and scheduling the event. Exact controls and plan availability may change, so confirm them in Restream’s current interface.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Choose the prerecorded-playlist workflow. In Restream’s event creation flow, select the playlist option rather than a Studio or RTMP broadcast. The guide also lists Video File as an event option; use the playlist workflow when you need multiple files in a controlled sequence. See Restream’s YouTube event guide.
- Select the videos. Add the existing or uploaded files you want included. Check that each intended video is present and that you have not accidentally selected the same file twice.
- Arrange the sequence. Drag the videos into the desired order. If the same video must appear more than once, put other videos between its entries rather than placing identical entries next to each other.
- Inspect every neighboring pair from top to bottom. Compare each item with the one immediately before it. Check the first and last entries too if the playlist will loop: if those are the same video, the loop boundary may create a repeat. This boundary check is a practical safeguard, not a documented no-repeat feature.
- Preview, then schedule. Use the preview if available to confirm the intended sequence. Set the YouTube event details, destination, date, and time, then schedule the playlist. Restream’s general scheduling guide describes selecting a playlist, reordering or editing its files, and scheduling it: Restream’s scheduling guide.
- Recheck after edits. If you change the playlist after checking it, inspect all neighboring pairs again. A randomized order, a loop, a playback-time edit, or a sequence assembled by another service may differ from the order you reviewed.
What the no-repeat check does—and does not—guarantee
Manual ordering can keep repeated entries apart in the fixed sequence you inspect. It is not an automated guarantee from YouTube or Restream. The reviewed Restream documentation does not say that the service detects duplicates or blocks consecutive repeats. If playback is randomized, the playlist changes after review, or another system controls playback, a manually checked order may not describe what viewers hear next.
Restream says two separately scheduled playlists delivered back-to-back run as separate streams with a two-minute buffer between them. That documented gap applies between separate scheduled playlists; it does not establish what happens when one playlist loops from its final video back to its first.

Check YouTube eligibility before scheduling
YouTube’s live-streaming guidance says a channel must be verified and must have had no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days to enable live streaming. These eligibility requirements are separate from arranging a prerecorded sequence. See YouTube’s live-streaming guide.
