To start a continuous YouTube playlist with OneStream Live, connect an eligible YouTube channel, choose Create > 24-hour Stream, add your videos, enter the stream details, select when it should start, set its duration, and schedule it. OneStream says this feature is YouTube-only, requires an Enterprise plan, and can run for up to 30 days per scheduled stream.
Before you schedule a stream
Make sure YouTube live streaming is available on your channel
Connect the YouTube account you intend to use in OneStream Live under Social Platforms. YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days; its current guidance also sets a minimum age of 16 to livestream. Check YouTube’s live streaming access requirements before building the schedule.
Check OneStream’s plan requirement
OneStream Live’s Help Center says its 24/7 streaming feature is exclusive to YouTube and requires an Enterprise plan. Consult OneStream’s 24-hour livestream setup instructions and current plan information to confirm access. The cited setup documentation does not establish India-specific Enterprise pricing or availability.
Schedule a 24/7 YouTube playlist in OneStream Live
- Open the 24-hour stream workflow. In OneStream Live’s web app, click Create, then choose 24-hour Stream.
- Add your video files. Select videos from your device, OneStream storage, or a connected cloud-storage source such as Google Drive or Dropbox, then continue. Choose files you already have access to; the documentation does not specify a minimum playlist length or required local storage capacity.
- Select YouTube and enter the stream details. Toggle on the connected YouTube channel and fill in the requested stream details.
- Choose when it starts. Set the stream to start immediately or schedule a later start.
- Set the duration and schedule. Enter the duration in days and click Schedule Broadcast. OneStream’s Help Center, updated September 3, 2026, states that the maximum allowed duration is 30 days. To keep the playlist streaming beyond that scheduled period, arrange another stream schedule rather than assuming one schedule runs indefinitely.
Using the mobile app
OneStream documents a similar mobile workflow: choose Create > 24-Hour Stream, then add content from the camera, mobile storage, OneStream storage, or connected cloud storage. Complete the YouTube, stream-details, start-time, and duration steps as in the web app. The same maximum of 30 days per stream applies.

Choose a video source that fits your workflow
OneStream lists three practical source categories in its setup instructions. They are ingestion options, not performance or reliability tiers.

OneStream describes playlist streaming as cloud-based and says no special equipment is needed for this workflow. A dedicated computer, capture card, encoder, or networking upgrade is not a documented requirement for scheduling pre-recorded videos.

Check rights, YouTube rules, and monetization separately
Clear every video and audio track
Only add videos and music you have the rights to use. OneStream’s playlist FAQ advises using royalty-free or licensed music for music playlists, but a playlist format does not make unlicensed material permissible. YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service still apply to live streams.
Do not assume a 24/7 schedule qualifies for monetization
Scheduling a stream does not guarantee watch hours, revenue, or access to monetization features. YouTube Partner Program eligibility and monetization policies determine whether a channel and its content can earn. Check your status in YouTube Studio and review YouTube’s current YouTube Partner Program eligibility guidance and channel monetization policies before relying on ad revenue, memberships, or fan-funding features.

Troubleshoot common setup problems
- The 24-hour Stream option is unavailable: Confirm that your OneStream account has the required Enterprise plan, then check that you are using the YouTube workflow.
- YouTube will not connect or allow a livestream: Verify that the intended channel is connected and eligible for live streaming. Check channel verification, any live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days, and YouTube’s age requirement.
- A video is missing from the selection list: Check whether it is in the device, OneStream library, or connected cloud account you selected. The documented workflow supports those source categories; it does not state a minimum playlist length or specific local-storage requirement.
- The scheduled stream ends before you want it to: Check the duration in days. OneStream caps a scheduled 24/7 stream at 30 days; schedule another stream for continued operation beyond that limit.
- Content receives a copyright or policy issue: Review the rights for both video and audio and check YouTube’s notice and applicable policies. Remove or replace material you are not licensed to use; an always-on playlist is still subject to YouTube rules.
